Pinside needs to send y'all a outside work table so your not on the ground or having to hold the work on your hand.

    #290 6 years ago

It already has the invisible stuff. I can't see a thing.

Wait? You knew i was on vacation!
    Lol

Damn caught me. It was Friday and I was bored so I had to go loot and pillage. Guess you didn't notice the missing shoes yet. They fit great.

    IMG_3243 (resized).JPGIMG_3243 (resized).JPG

    Hope they catch them.

You couldn't steal one from the junk yard (back alley)? You could build a mars probe with all that stuff.

    #1262 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

    Hey Pinside!
Waiting for other amigos that work late,so i am gonna start building.
    Itchy fingers on friday

Slackers. Don't they know what's important yet?

I'm expecting "eye closed" welding and sparks flying tonight.

    1 week later
    #1646 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

    Yes!! Let the sparks fly!!

Amigos just ain't right without sparks.

    #1698 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Dick is done with our pristine project being so dusty,he insists cleaning it first...who made all that crap?

Nows your chance to drop the playfield on his head. You know it's going to happen so might as well get it out of the way before all the stuff is on the bottom.

    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Fuck! Hole is on the wrong side, you easily make that mistake when a playfield is up(right? ).
It is no issue, the false whole gets covered by a coil assy..

Whiskey break done got you. Ha ha.

    #1708 6 years ago

No harm no foul. Have another.

Can we go ahead and do Friday on Thursday this week? I'm going out Friday and don't want to have to wait till Saturday.

    #1791 6 years ago

    3 days instead of 1.

    I'm in.
Y'all need to road trip more often.

The shirts need a bigger area of a lighter color to make space for autographs. We will need that.

    #1841 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

    Do white permanent markers excist?
Then we will totally sign the black ones too.

Not white but there a silver one that would work great.

    #1882 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Always good to see Gerard, supernice bloke with cool pinball stories.

But I can't understand a thing y'all say. Except for the beer part. Guess that's universal in any language.

    IMG_3757 (resized).PNGIMG_3757 (resized).PNG

    #1891 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

    Ofcourse!
    It's great here!

And y'all got cool cars. You have our cool cars and your cool cars too.

    #1899 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

I love how usa build cars look...i am a total sucker for the fabulous fifties/sixties/early seventies.
No windtunnel created crap,my '59 Plymouth Fury front is just a vertical wall trying to plow through the air resistance.

We're gonna be needing that back.

    #1921 6 years ago

If they wrote pacmans people would be like "idiots don't know how to spell". It would be like if a pin had words misspelled on a Playfield. Oh wait never mind...

    #1924 6 years ago

Where do the baby pacman's come from? Ms pacman must be getting out a lot.

    #1977 6 years ago

Awesome. Don't forget a V-neck ladies style shirt. They will NEED one too. Well she will wear it but it will be for me...

    #1985 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

you can also order a shirt without our Pinball Amigos signature ofcourse..

What.... think you been breathing to much welding fumes.

Make it $5 more for autographs. It is for a good cause and don't think anyone will mind helping.

Put a Williams style coin door trim bolt to fill the hole.

    #2340 6 years ago

Never say "BOOM!!!" When working on electronics.

    #2376 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Boom! Some rj45’s to complete the i/o board loop...

How about some spaghetti to go with your beer bombs.

    Rather big tv though..

In keeping with the amigo pinball spirit just saw off a couple inches from the edges.

    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Just a sec guys,we are in the alley for some inspiration!

Hmm... that's usually the "old lady kicked us out look"? What did y'all do now?

Edit to say that does look like an album cover.

    #3969 5 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Right off the bat we cannot find the “ plintentang”?
    Wtf?

Hey I just remembered. The "moss" must be in the alley. We always called that "the safety meeting".

    Either that or maybe this.

An rgb light in the mailbox and make it into something eerie during gameplay...”you got mail from beyond”!

Porch moss is my favorite. Adds reality.

I get nervous every time I see you use one of those unibits. I'm to chicken for those things. I could blast a hole 3 sizes to big in a split second.

70% discount on sluts! Get your slut while they’re on sale! [quoted image]

    And they spurt too.

    One more personal question?
Do your girl and kids have mastery of English like you? Do they understand some of the nuances of the language? Seems like you are a American living over there as good as you do.

    #4678 5 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Inside there was a rack with just a bunch of dumb stuff...but wait!
    [quoted image]

You have more of Americas useless old crap than we do.

Holy crap that dude obviously came out of the "funky junky" and he had been sampling the junky. Wonder what was in his plastic bag?

    #4679 5 years ago

Just for the record, I have more fun on your vacations than I do on mine.

Hopefully no break ins when you get home this time.

    #4704 5 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

    No break in!
    One thing sucks though...
Buried all my valuables in the backyard for nothing! That was some heavy labor!
So yeah...gonna be digging a hole tomorrow..

That's what kids are for. If they give you any lip tell them the hole is for them.

So a somewhat more happy update,i bought a mobile home this week,we can now go to the Dutch pinball open with that!
It really sucks to rent a van and a hotel room...super hassle!
We have our own driving house now
    [quoted image]

Bunch of drunk pinball people in a party bus. Make us all proud.

    #4968 5 years ago
    Quoted from chad:

I know shipping cost to and from would be insane, but it would be fun if you could bring your games made to either Pinvall Expo , or MidWest Gaming Classic.

Two words. Motorhome submarine. All it would take is some sealer around the windows, air source for the engine, propellers in the back... We all know they can do it.

The more I think about this thread I think y'all have cut yourselves short.
You've heard of a "widebody" what was needed was a "longbody". You know like a casket. Just think of the crazy layout, amount of flippers and different shots if the game was 6' long. Not huge like Hercules just long.

    #5837 5 years ago

Take the glass off and have your kids look for it. They will find it.

    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Thanks, the number is getting scary though...43!
When i was 16,i thought 43 year old people were almost done
Little did i know you blink your eyes 3 times and you are 43!

I will tell you what's worse. With average life expectancy I got about 20 more years. I can remember 20 years ago like yesterday. So the good news is... you got 30 left.

a darkish picture where we (the 3 amigos) are dressed up like patients maybe Dick on a tricycle and Mic holding a fish bowl with a captains cap on....me with super thick glasses looking spooked.

So your saying just act normal? That's always the easiest.

    1 week later
    #6768 5 years ago
    Quoted from SYS6:

if English isn't your first language then why do you name all your switches, servos and so on in English in the code.

I noticed in the different pictures they post a lot of products have both languages on the packaging. If it's not in English the first thing I do is google it to figure out what the heck it is.

My question is do Dick and "The Beard" speak English too? In the video clips I've never heard them speak.

    #6773 5 years ago
    Quoted from meSz:

Bas, where are you guys?? Need something to follow other then the YBR/Monkey debacle!

About another 4 hours. They're tuning up their grinders.

    1 week later
    #6961 5 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Yeah it’s the cheap stuff but the hardened stuff had a 4 week delivery time.
We’ll replace it further down the road.
This protects the machine when not working on it.

You could always get some clear window film (like window tint) and put on the glass for safety reasons.

Oh, when talking about glass, I like to avoid the word "boom"

    #6984 5 years ago
    Quoted from MarkInc:

But he's always too busy away 'baking' at work to enjoy it!

I thought that was what the alley was for?
