Quoted from pinballrockstar:You know, our followers think i am supersmart ,and i want them to keep thinking that but with these 2 pinball builds i’ve actually just been in a 5 year horrible struggle understanding electronics and code.
You are doing great! Watching you work through all the problems and issues as you learn has not only been great fun to follow, but is a great way for all of us to learn a thing or too (actually a lot!). Keep it up!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:And cruising it...ofcourse...
Bas, what is the appreciation level for an American musclecar restoration like that in the Netherlands? Do people "Get it" or are they indifferent?
Quoted from pinballrockstar:So overall i would say yes, everybody generally appreciates it but can’t tell a GM 305 from a Ford 351 cleveland.
Well, that is pretty much the same here in the midwest, though few would get a ford and chevy confused - that would be fighting words in some quarters
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Aaah shit!
I just wasted 3 hours
No launch!
I just saw this activity on this thread and got excited it was Friday afternoon
Hope we will be seeing some Amigo activity this Friday and maybe some playfield artwork
Quoted from pinballrockstar:First off, beard fashion, his daughter gave him a fathers day shirt
That is the kind of shirt my youngest daughter would get me!
By the time Friday afternoon rolls around at end of a long workweek, I have forgotten about this thread. Then I see the first post and it is like, hey what a nice surprise, and I get to spend a little time enjoying watching your creative process, craftsmanship, pinball, friendship and family. Hard to believe you started Crazy Mansion three years ago (and Minions before that), the time has flown by. Thanks for bringing a little escape and happiness into the lives of those of us following. Continues to be one of the best threads on Pinside.
And oh yeah, Crazy Mansion is looking awesome!
Thanks for letting us share this experience with you! Enjoyed it all every step of the way
Hope to continue spending Pinball Amigo Fridays with you guys on something new!
Quoted from swinks:Lots of Mr Orange's
Yeah, need a Mr. Pink, Mr. Blonde, Mr. Brown ...
Quoted from PBFan:Another lonely Friday. When does the next game start?
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Even if they arent building, Are the Amigos still gathering up Fridays?
"But Honey, The Amigos are having a safety meeting, and Need Me!!!"
I need an Excuse!!!!
Ditto.
Quoted from oldskool1969:can't access as you have to sign in?
I couldn't either, but maybe is it from Bas' youtube channel that he posted on today:
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Still can’t believe this, how does this appeal to anybody in the morning
To me this is what crazy looks like
This picture reminds me of the last time you guys were here!
Typically American Hotel Breakfast Choices:
Eggs (scrambled)
Sausage links (bacon if you are lucky)
Toast, butter, jam
Cold Cereal
Oatmeal
Boiled Eggs
Waffles
Muffins
Possibly pancakes
Milk, Juice
Quoted from mic1977:You know what? Let's do some charity!!
Those are some pretty nice games - speaker upgrades and powder-coated - one person's person collection?
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Dunno, apart from stranger things, they all look brand new?
powder coated rails/legs, speaker upgrades in the premiums to 5.25" speakers with lights, speaker panel art - none of that stock from the factory - definitely a nice home collection brought in for charity.
