Ditch the P-Roc - go with the P3-Roc (or FAST) no crazy matrix wiring.

Maybe use servos instead of dc motors?

Pills: You could use it like the back box bonus count on "300"

I'm confused. I thought they were in the Netherlands, not Norway?

    Hey buddy!

    We gave up

Never give up, never surrender! - just a suggestion that your next game should be Galaxy Quest

Yup,when our Crazy Mansion pinball catches fire, one might assume it is a special effect until flames shoot out the side!

You could shoot flames out the sides on purpose to set the neigbouring machines on fire! Very evil haunted mansion.

    Is this an 'off' week?

    I need my fix.

We had a party and launched Nightmare Before Christmas pinball!

And there was a guy once who thought the guys from the blue/white sticker spelled it the right way
    Come on people really?

    Originally called Puckman.
Renamed Pacman to avoid graffiti artists changing the P to and F!
So Packman is some weird transitional phase.

    Quoted from swinks:

here is another alternative, servo trigger board where you could have multiple triggers (switches) to activate the eye, say from a orbit, ramp etc and you can program pivot speed, turn and hold, turn and return - clever little board. Could also be used for curtains / windows in your mansion. I will be using these in tube time.

It's quite simple with MPF using the FAST SERVO daughterboard.

Curiously, in the U.S., illicit drugs are sold in both grams and ounces.

Mayonnaise on the 'chips' I can understand, but that looks like a bottle of mustard! So wrong!

Looks like the header is on the wrong side. You want minimal sticking out on the LED side. The connector goes on the back (not LED side)

Also, the 2 GND and 2 5V holes are electrically connected on the LED board. GND IN to GND out. 5V IN to 5V OUT.
DATA IN and DATA OUT are not - that is your serial chain.

That reminds me of the sticky stuff used to install glass tiles. Still sticky after 70 years.

I tore apart a bathroom and salvaged a couple hundred square feet of pink glass, if anyone wants some.

    The opto transmitter boards:
You feed power into them and it gives you power connections for 8 opto transmitter LEDs.
    You need 11 X .100 2 pin connectors and 8 resistors (220 Ohm if using 12V, or 56 Ohm if using 5V)

Time for the Pinball Amigos first crazy video of the week!!
This gang of irish travelers from the city of Cork,Ireland, are calling out a dude named ‘John-Paul’ for a fight
The editor put some subtitles under the vid cause Irish is hard to follow.
But it is mainly subtitled for the lack of braincells.
I advise you to be in a certain state of mind,i nearly died laughing
    Big amigo greet,

Are we on for today, please?

(Bad week with all the deaths from cancer and suicides. Not to mention the backwards steps taken legally and politically.)

    Please cheer us up!

Frogs are smooth and slimey. That looked more like a toad - rougher skin.
They don't live IN the water, just NEAR it.
Lay their eggs in the water and grow up as tadpoles, but crawl out and live on land.

    Quoted from PinPatch:

Just an idea on the UFO, instead of filling in blanks just put in LEDs that aren't powered.

Or wire 2 LEDs to each circuit. 16?
So for example, when circuit 1 is energized, both leds will light.

Sorry, I missed Zitt’s post. - what he said!

    Those flippers are strong! Wow.
    Great build as usual

You probably don't need to drive them for 80ms now - they might get too hot. Try 40, maybe even 20?

Looks like mostly everyone is focused on Texas right now.
Good time to make something crazy cool for all the rest of us that didn't go to TPF.

Some actual work to cut through all the madness of anticipation for the Wonka reveal.

    #7047 6 months ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

I believe in total,it’s 363 lines of code to make the heads sing that song..
I need to write like 50 more of these sequences

You can make smaller shows and repeat them.

    Something like Intro_show.yaml, Verse_show.yaml, Chorus_show.yaml, Bridge_show.yaml, Exit_show.yaml
Then have another show like Song.yaml
    That calls the other shows:
intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, verse, chorus, exit

I'm guessing: Shoot the upper right corner, goes around the drain, triggers switch, diverter moves guide left (CCW), ball goes to the UFO pickup spot?

Edit: just saw the video - awesome!
