Imagine what these guys could do if they worked full time on this and had a comprehensive stock of parts and a complete workshop!
Great work, truly imaginative and love the problem solving.
Re changing faces, a rgb uplight underneath the faces could change colors as they change modes/get crazier.
Try some thin MDF say around 2mm thick as it should flex enough, if you need it thicker simply glue layer upon layer with a good quality glue. Keep up the great work.
Love this thread.
Quick comment about shingles, they look too good!! In my opinion some should be missing, crooked etc to go with the abandoned look.
Great work guys, this machine looks like it will have the most varied types of shots in a pinball machine ever.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Thanks Melbourne! (Isn’t that the coolest name ever for a city!)
Thanks for compliment!!! Actually Melbourne was founded by John Batman and was going to be called Batmania at one time, IMO a much cooler name.
Thanks Pinballrockstar
Never seen anything like that before. Looks really good.
Is it OK to install new roof on top of the old. I would be worried that it could cause rust to the new sheets as moisture will be retained there.
@DDDwingmaster, they call them
bead cutters in oz you can get them at glazing suppliers, CR Laurence is one for example.
Might have to thicken the playfield ply with all that stuff on it!
The ideas must be running out by now...
Thoroughly enjoy this thread and the work you guys do.
Maybe add a gold cross to that coffin?
Said it before and will say it again 3 guys on a weeknight with basic tools and a scrap bin of parts make better looking mechs than the big boys!!
Hey Amigos what glass did you get?
Is it laminated or just float. If float I would either get it toughened/tempered or replace it with laminated, as long as the laminate's 6.38mm thickness fits the channels.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:(Dick was beat half an hour ago
Too much information! !
Hi guys just a small suggestion- maybe the colors of the flipper buttons should be changed to something that goes with the cabinet a bit more?
Great work guys, if you get sick of pinball naking, in all seriousness you could make high end doll houses.
Play this fits the mood!!
Lyrics-
Everybody on the floor, everybody on the floor, on the floor.
I want to see you working.. on the floor..
Merry Christmas Amigos, thanks for the entertainment through the year.
Are you going to protect bottles from potential air balls?
Due to this great creation being completed during covid 19 will you put a covid easter egg somewhere? Maybe a character wearing a mask, a half eaten bat or simply a corona picture?
This thread is a Saturday morning highlight for me.
Congratulations on the build, my favourite thread on pinside.
Is a Saturday must look for me.
Looking forward to the next build... Sci Fi theme maybe?
Thanks again for the ride.
