Quoted from chad:You cats make pinball building fun!!
Yeah this is great fun right?!
Thanks man..
Quoted from gmkalos:This build is nuts! I wish I could fire one up with you guys an do some wrenching on that thing! lol
Hey bro, yeah we just let our imagination run wild and try to have as much fun as possible!
You can pick that vibe up from our topic right?
We always look out to fridays man...always a good time..
It’s always a monumental task to upload everything on pinside while building, but it is so great we can enjoy this together via internet...you guys are all over the globe?
It is close to a miracle when you think about it?
Some evenings we screw up and blow things up and the community worldwide can have a good laugh about it...how great is that?
I still see myself sitting with my first Sony Hitbit MSX computer with a data recorder.
No internet, nothing..
I had this cartridge with a Mario type of game,it was a little knight with a sword walking through caves/mazes.
At that point in time i thought that was the best it was ever gonna be?
Look at us now!
Quoted from Pintucky:I have thought of that often, how you stop to take all the pictures. That's a lot of work, but we all sure appreciate it. Your 'chronology of events' is just as impressive as your creativity on the pin!!!
Thanks bud
Good to hear!
Quoted from meSz:Look at the bright side..........if you ever need to get rid of a body at least you know a deserted place ..........(agh never-mind)
Dude we always start way later than this...this is my own fokkin time okay!?
Yeah, that reminds me...should’ve taken the time to charge the Tesla a bit more...if i ask for an extension cord to charge my car here...i’ll get raped and slaughtered by some farmer dude...
I bet everybody is nice here and all but i am a city boy and i am out of my comfort zone
Quoted from meSz:Ok so look at the dark side to this ...........its going to be your body being rid of!!!
and
Yeah make fun of it?!
Where am i !!
Ah great, arrived in Oudekerk aan de Amstel.
This doesn’t look inviting at all....
Quoted from meSz:oh yeah you're as good as dead! Let us know if you need someone to dial 112
Dude...seriously...this is it,a killer clown with a chainsaw lives here...the doorbell also doesn’t work..
It is dark, eerie, cold, damp and super fucking quiet here...why are there no fucking birds here?
It’s quiet as a mouse here...
Oh!
There is wind...
Quoted from meSz:LOL just think of all the inspiration this place is giving you for the Crazy Mansion!
Also, just in case something happens to you is Mic okay with continuing on with CM and posting to Pinside?
You selfish pinside bastard!
Not even a:
“Bas”? “Bas”? Are you okay!?
No....bas is dead guys!
Raped and murdered in Oudekerk aan de Amstel on a farm...
Mic?! Do you have the password for the Amigo topic?!
Bastards!
Nobody loves me...
We are lucky Bart lives here and he is a supernice guy!
He drives an old Lincoln Mark IV,supercool dude.
He Is giving my Tesla a hard time...saying it is not a car if you can’t pour gas in it
Quoted from meSz:I offered to call 112 for you ....doesn't that count??
Of course he drives a Lincoln........he needs the trunk space to put the bodies in!!! d'oh
Ohw...
Did not think about that...lol
Nah Bart was awesome.
But still you totally hurt my feelings!
I saw you reach out to Mic instantly!
Man,the road back looks just the same...
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Happy Friday Pinball Amigos!!!
“Bas”? “Bas”? Are you okay!?
Hey man! Thanks for asking!?
MeSz!
You see!?
Great example!!!
HD fatboy is genuinly concerned about my well being!
Bastard....
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Zelda?
No it had a superweird name, but man that game was fun..i’ll look it up and post it.
Quoted from swinks:good to see your safe Bas, and great pickup and also that gps screen is dam huge
saw a awesome movie with half of it set in The Hague and Amsterdam, funny action - thought of you guys watching "The Hitman's Bodyguard"
Yeah, back home and Tessa is plugged in! She needs some juice..
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:It looks a lot like the first Zelda Played especially the knight.
» YouTube video
Yeah indeed...zelda was badass too man...sucker for those type of games...
I need to start playing em all again!
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Anyways back to Haunted Mansion, What's going on with it this week!
Well Mic is here,i ‘m just in , let’s roll!
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Use inches instead of metric........hehehehehehehehehe!
It is hard enuff as it is!!
Mic has a good thing going damaging the doors in the meantime!
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Omg the doors are already great, work on something else already.
Perfection!
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Is he going to cover up the bare wood with some type of paint or color so the damage looks old?
Yup! Cranking up the airbrush!
Mic says; you do the rest of the letter scraping,i am gonna spray a test on the front of the mansion.
This aerosol is just white structure spray, but it needs to dry for a loooong time and Mic wants to attempt to airbrush a wasted look front section next week.
Mic calls it a day,he has to work early (05:00) and has a giant commute so he has 2 hours of sleep before he needs to work agáin!
Insane...when my cryptocoins go to the moon,i am starting a pinball company for us...wouldn’t that be great?
Just work on it and have all the time in the world?
Quoted from Travish:No, I think it was the "moss".
Yeah what happened there?
Quoted from Travish:That's not dirt. It's preservative.
Well i can see the monitor way better now!
Quoted from scottslash:You. Guys. Are. Awesome.
Love this thread!
Thanks brother,
For watching our little topic
Quoted from Thor-NL:Prettig weekend, Amigos!!
Can’t understand you, what language is that?
Quoted from Puffdanny:I'm a glassblower so i could make you a little device to help get rid of the rest of that moss just let me know if you need 1 or 3.
Oh really dude?
We totally want 3 in that case!
You ain’t pulling our leg right!?
Quoted from cosmokramer:if you make a custom piece for the amigos I will pay for it
Wow!
This is getting better as i read along!?
Awesome brother!
Quoted from Puffdanny:Here's a few pics of my work and me in High Times.
Dude that is so cool...very nice craftmanship
I’ve seen glassblowing on How It’s Made and i definately want to try that once man.
Awesome.
But in the meantime, could you hook us up with some of these art pieces?
Quoted from Puffdanny:I just got out of the hospital and need to recover a little but as soon as I'm feeling better we will get you guys hooked up.
Cool bro thanks!
Hope you are on your feet again soon
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Dude, I'd be in for buying a small glass piece! Make flipper shaped bowls.
Man that is a good idea!
Quoted from Zitt:I'm not sure I'd smoke that moss... probably made in china with diesel fuel.
No actually most often in a dudes basement with stolen electricity
Quoted from Thor-NL:Don’t worry about the quality of Dutch “moss”
Yeah...hahaha...
The Dutch practically invented it!
Ehr...
What were we talking about again?
You said...
Ehr...
Wow...great stuff man..
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Whao, all 3 amigos today, we expect great acomplishments then!!
Ofcourse!
We have to pull Dick away from his new game though
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Happy Friday! Love the Avengers/Thanos shirt!
Mic says thanks,he made it himself
Quoted from InfiniteLives:whats up with all those socks haha
I am a full on sock horder dude
Nah kidding,i bought 20 pairs of new socks and these are good rags...put em on your hand, sock rag!
Awesome!
Quoted from zerbam:thought maybe you left them balled up and thru them at each other
great idea!
Don’t tell dick!
Shhhht!!
Quoted from Mbecker:Lol - looks like one of the handlers took your advice and gave it a few good kicks!
Quoted from aobrien5:Someone clearly stepped on it, just because you said they could.
Hahahaha,he was like:”finally one i can beat the fuck out off”
The box looks like an elephant sat on it
Mic is here, let’s start our favorite day of the week!!
My Tesla is still in one piece dude
The person said the car accelerated but Elon Musk will laugh again when he reads the data from the car.
When people crash a Tesla and blame the car, they have no clue it has a log.
So the truth is registered
So to bring you guys up to speed, yesterday i spray painted the mansion so it could dry overnight.
It sucks to have a painted sticky thing standing in the way on friday.

Quoted from MarkInc:Mayonnaise on the 'chips' I can understand, but that looks like a bottle of mustard! So wrong!
Dude that is the best woodglue on the planet!
Bison!
Look in the picture: “supersterk”!
That means: “ strong as fuck”
Oh i am in the process of receiving a bunch of stuff from china for the lights,i ordered these 3 pin cables in various length so we can loop the rgb lights.
Every rgb light will have pins soldered on and you simply connect/loop em all...
It will look very much like we knew what we were doing...cool...
Quoted from swinks:great stuff once again guys, doors and shingles look great and love the wireform - well done
Thanks bro,good to hear ya
The inner loop is also taking shape, the fun thing is,you can shoot it when the mansion is down and also when it is up!

Quoted from Wolfmarsh:The doors are looking great! Hell everything looks great!
Ah thanks buddy,look...we threw the porch on!
Quoted from Slash:Love the coil sleeves!!!
Also those doors look sooo good!
Hey thanks bro,for stopping by and being cool.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Amigos! Looking Great!
OT, What do you guys think of Dialed In?,
Now that you've had some time on it.
Dialed In is such a great machine,a lot of insane stuff going on Art...real bizar machine.
Lightshows are amazing.
I still say these newer machines don’t feel like a good old Bally, but bless these guys for working so damn hard to build us something this cool...
Why is Pat Lawlor so in to disasters btw?!
I ordered Houdini too, very curious how that pans out!
Oh and Alice Cooper...totally on the list!
Saw some snaps today...man that thing is gonna be sick!
Quoted from transprtr4u:Your going to love it... Very Williams/ Bally...
Well that is basically what i look for in a machine, thanks for the great news!
Quoted from PinPatch:Love this thread.
Quick comment about shingles, they look too good!! In my opinion some should be missing, crooked etc to go with the abandoned look.
Great work guys, this machine looks like it will have the most varied types of shots in a pinball machine ever.
Yes,good comment.
If they are all attached,we will break some off and chip some tiles
Together we will make this thing insane!
Keep sending us your thoughts!
Quoted from newy16216:Hopphadoma my crazy mansion friends
Hoppa what?
Quoted from cosmokramer:Those coil wrappers are great!
Thanks buddy,Mic is going to print smaller ones for the smaller coils.
We really like em so every coil will get our logo wrapper
Quoted from newy16216:Sorry guys it's the only Dutch word I thought I knew , my dad use to say it all the time , might do a bit of research to find out what it means, and how to spell it loving the build keep it up boys
Quoted from swinks:got me thinking as your word Hopphadoma sounded familiar so checked with my dad who is dutch (from Rotterdam and Mum from Maastricht) said the word sounds like Godverdomme which effectively means "God damn me". They are religious so they replaced "God" with "Pot"
Ha! Your dad was cursing all the time!
Indeed,it is “godverdomme”.
Thanks so much Swinks,it kept me awake all night!
Very sharp!
Quoted from gmkalos:You guys are so awesome! Can I bring over my Gi Joes and play Scooby-Doo for a while lol
Thanks bro unusual collection you got there hahaha
Quoted from Blitzburgh99:It could be that you got a little moss in your eyes?
Yeah that is probably not helping either right? Yeah....
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Time for my favorite thread on my favorite day of the week!
Hey everybody!!!
It’s party time!!
Check out my new ATMOS clock made by Jaeger le coultre from Switserland...
This clock needs no batteries or winding up.
It runs forever by itself,i read the book next to it (on perpetual motion) and got insanely interested in these Isaac Newton laws we cannot mess with on planet earth.
This clock is the closest thing to perpetual motion
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Wow, creativity that never ceases!
Yeah and now he starts brushing the roof, who knows how this will pan out?!
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Looking great, i love the distressed look on the shingles.
And getting even better!
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Have a good weekend dudes.
Same to you brother!
We also played Theatre of magic (been a while)and now it is time to sleep.
Quoted from swinks:late to the show, great as always team amigo's - lookin sweet
Thanks buddy!
The machine really starts to breathe
Quoted from Mbecker:Love the fans - can’t wait to see that in action with the ball rolling by!
Yeah that is gonna be fun man, would be cool if we manage to activate every fan when the ball passes it.
Quoted from swillie:Another awesome update Amigos!! The details on the roofing shingles look great! Nice job cutting the holes for the fans so uniform with a handheld jigsaw, I am no good with that tool. I can already see the game filled with smoke, strobes flashing like lightning, and then you send the ball up the left ramp and trigger those fans to clear it all out...
Yeah jigsaws suck dude, trust us...we know
Quoted from yoyokopter:Very nice , super Green pinball
Hey dude! Good to see you!
Quoted from gmkalos:You guys need these hats! lol
Hahaha, those were the days man, love these guys!
Quoted from Fooped:Do you guys have any plans to come stateside? I'm sure I speak for quite a few of us that we'd like to meet you guys in person and buy you a beer or 12...
Hi Fooped,
Yeah wouldn’t that be cool right?
Waiting for my crypto coins to go to the moon,i told the guys if i hit it big,we will only be building pinball in our shop and travel all the pinball meetings out there.
We would live the dream man.
Quoted from gmkalos:Or can I get you a bong and a blintz? lol
Hey! Goldmember
I remember loving the Austin Powers franchise and being super insulted how they presented the dutch people as dead skin eaters.
Hahaha...i was like:WTF!?
Needless to say , he is my least favorite character
Quoted from gmkalos:Yea that was weird and literally made no sense to me either? Maybe be a Canadian stereotype? ...but Beyonce was the bomb in that flick!
Ah then i can finally let that go...i was thinking you guys overseas think we eat our dead skin over here
I actually had no clue what to think of it but i was sorta insulted you know?
For once a dutch character in Austin Powers and it is a retarded character damned!
Quoted from zFabi:Speaking of a "Goldmember"
Otherwise great work as always and I think I'll need your help with my project somewhere down the road
First I need to get my CAD model straight though.
Would love to come over some day and play that beast, as the Netherlands aren't that far away.
Dude we will totally be present at the next Dutch pinball open!
Come over and have a beer(or seven...whatever..)and have a good time
Quoted from Pintucky:Need your language skills.
I can't figure out the language in this video. Probably 'north' from you in one of the Scandinavian countries. Anyway, take a look at it please and see if you can determine anything he is saying, especially something that would tell you what country he is in. It's a very unusual story about a baby deer. We have them here on my farm but I've never seen one love on a human before! Thanks, Mike

Hahaha and a Swedish follower was faster to answer than me
Man this is a fun topic.
Quoted from Pintucky:Need your language skills.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/video/animals/man-cuddles-with-deer-in-backyard/vi-BBKJok5
I think that deer is retarded, ill or mentally unstable...it is not an okay reaction to a human, everytime i want to pet one of these, they always run like fuck when they see me coming...
I bet that guy has some crazy deer disease now...
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Hey Bas,
Are you guys working on the Pin and posting this Friday?
Just wondering here it is good Friday.
Yes absolutely dude
What better day than a good friday right?
Hey!
Btw!
Take a guess what new pinball is coming to Amigo headquarters soon!
I zoomed in so it might be tough to guess..
Very, very excited about this one dudes! (and female dudes)
Quoted from Pintucky:I think you are right! You can't get within 50 yards of one or they will quickly run away. Uh. . . 50 yards . . . let's see . . . that would be 43 meters? Or . . . 26, or 33.79, or . . . . oh, hell. YOU figure it out!
That dear might have been ready to die and it was so 'out of it' and weak that it couldn't function normally. I'm also thinking it could have been a pet deer. When people find an abandoned baby deer here in Kentucky, some will take them home with them and raise them as pets. THAT'S the kind of deer that will come up to you and let you rub them and feed them. Maybe this one belonged to a neighbor and it got out of its pen. OR . . . this guy fooled us all and it was HIS pet deer!!!
Anyway, thanks to our Helsinki friend for saying it was Swedish. And thank YOU for your interest and comments.
Guten Tag
Mike
I stick with retarded Mike!
I mean, does this look okay to you?
Quoted from zaza:noo, why is there a poodle laying on the bed
Hahahaha
I did not notice the poodle hahaha!!!
Quoted from Puffdanny:I'm union and get the holiday off so today is my Friday and you guys are throwing me off with no updates
We’ll be there tomorrow bro, hold on!
Quoted from rufessor:I totally missed the poodle. Not sure why but the whole situation just seems normal all the sudden. The poodle ties the whole room together.
Hahaha! It does right?
Quoted from Thor-NL:Bas, just keep painting the nail, even if it’s not black anymore ..... when my date comes up....TaDaaa!!! We have a winner
You cheater! Hahaha
Me i am inventing a new way to get a ball from the under playfield to the regular playfield..
Understand with a reverse playfield,it is an insane gap you need to bridge to get upstairs again.
I have been messing with this idea...a rotating coil spring in which the ball can travel up..
1676D09C-C750-4EBA-8B29-2D5A15CF8963 (resized).jpeg
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Dude, that is freaking awesome, love that idea!
Yeah,cool right?
Gonna cut a driving rod and weld it onto the spring so i can test my invention on my cordless drill
Quoted from meSz:Tell Mic it would fit better without the stand
He’s on it!
Quoted from swinks:cool things happening again, check out this video too the right is the ball lift system using a spring with a centre shaft and the ball rides against 2 vertical posts and the spring
» YouTube video
he stole that from me?!
Quoted from Thor-NL:Little idea ... test this one first
Yeah we did!
Quoted from Thor-NL:Welding before drinking .... did you guys wise-up?
Yeah we are different now man
It works great in first test!
Quoted from swinks:looks great, how much of the screen will be seen once that playfield goes in?
now just have to add creepy cartoon affects to your faces and you are in the game
About half or 60% Swinks, like a regular dmd,we are debating that actually
Quoted from PinPatch:WORK OF ART!!!
Thanks Melbourne! (Isn’t that the coolest name ever for a city!)
Quoted from Travish:In keeping with the amigo pinball spirit just saw off a couple inches from the edges.
Edit
Guess I should have went all the way down before posting. That's mostly what you did. Ha ha.
Yeah we stripped that thing man!
It is a miracle it still works hahaha!
I was so wasted yesterday i can hardly recall mounting the damn thing
Quoted from rkahr:Maybe the slope of the lower PF could vary which would change how much screen is visible. I went back a quite a few pages to refresh my memory on the plan for the lower PF (quoted post 834 to help others find it).
Anyway, accomplish something on the main PF to reveal more screen and make the lower PF ready for mental jackpot. Get the ball down there when the slope isn't steep and there aren't many points to be had (so player is just wasting time stuck in the asylum), but when it's steep/difficult the jackpot can be earned. Maybe what's revealed on the screen is icons showing the state of each letter's insert target which is progress toward earning the jackpot.
A mechanism that incorporates a threaded motor shaft running through bolt fixed to the lower PF may be enough to give control of the pitch. The lower PF's exit ball path would need designed deliver to that spring you guys built no matter PF position.
-Rob
-visit http://www.kahr.us to get my daughterboard that helps fix WPC pinball resets or my new Skee Score displays
Wow! That is an insane idea!
A moving lower playfield
As if thismachine isn’t enuff of a challenge we are actually gonna debate this.
