    #402 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Thanks, always shout something if you think we are messing up,better safe than sorry!

    Yeah,a pinball amigos t-shirt!
Man that would be cool, someone in Kansas City wearing our shirt

Live in Chicago, but from Kansas City....I will take one shirt please...........lol

    #403 6 years ago

    I'll take one too.

    #404 6 years ago

Are you going to make your design first on paper.
Or are you going like crazy drill and design your playfield on the fly.
For us it looks more fun to watch but for the end result it plays better.

Love what your doing, going to watch every Friday.

Definitely better safe than sorry! I expect to get a lot of justified "what the hell are you thinking?" when I start posting about my build

    #406 6 years ago

I'd love to wear a Pinball Amigos shirt in Alabama.

    That makes 2 of us

    #408 6 years ago

And a new franchise/ company is born PINBALL AMIGOS

    #409 6 years ago

Me want shirt!!!!! Happy to paypal!

    #410 6 years ago

I took the liberty of doing a bit of research for the Amigos... although they clearly know how to make T-shirts- maybe this will help if they want to sell us a couple internationally but don't want to get into the t-shirt business.

If they create an account here

    https://www.zazzle.com/custom/mens+tshirts

They can upload a pinball amigos graphic and then release it and we can all order t-shirts. And they make a tiny- ity-bitty little bit of $$$$

As a greed inducing profit motive incentive- if you make this happen- I will order two T-shirts and post a pic here as the shirts play pinball and drink beer! Maybe even while sandblasting something!

PS there are other sites like zazzle. I don't know jack shit about Zazzle other than 30 minutes I spent logging into a few different sites- this one seemed easiest to use. Just upload your design, hit the sell button and make an account and your done. Apparently no cost to submit a design or create an account. Sounds like pure profit for the Amigos- must be a scam

    Quoted from rufessor:

I can represent you out West-
Make a Pinball amigos shirt orderable on-line!! You will sell a few. Many of us have pinball amigos! Could even be fun for people not following here!
I bet you could find a spot to upload your graphic and they would handle orders etc....

We are equipped to do this, no problem.
    Terry.

    #413 6 years ago

    Hi Margaret,

Boy Terry, you will do anything for a buck.

Not to derail things but found this. It made me laugh.

    #414 6 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Meanwhile,i am imagining a bracket to hold the motor,it has to be a bracket that can bend a little cause nothing is really well balanced so i give it some room to play.

How do you guys go about pulling and selecting parts for your build. So far I have seen you dive into a RS and a SG? Are you buying a couple cheap beater machines and using them as donors? I can't believe you are just cracking open machines you own and pulling parts. You may have covered this in the minions build so sorry if I'm repeating something.

Oh, and I'll take a shirt.

    Terry.

Make the shirts with the amigos, donate $5 of each purchase to charity. Win-win.

    I'll buy several.

They have several donor machines that were purchased just for this purpose. There's a Road Show and SpaceJam if I remember correctly and maybe a couple of others.

    Don't forget the Baywatch!

Indeed,i buy every donor pinball machine i can find,we don't murder random pinball machines.
The minions is a World cup soccer at heart, but that pin was in need of so much repairs...it was barely holding on to life.
So we used it for parts.
We currently have another aged world cup soccer, road show, baywatch, space jam and rescue 911 for parts.

So T-shirts are a good idea?cool...,we will make that a reality soon.
    Mic is running that department

    #419 6 years ago

I would be keen on a shirt

    #420 6 years ago

    Leave kidding.

    #421 6 years ago

Oh look it's Friday, I will have something to read at work err um my phone later lol

    #422 6 years ago

    IMG_7256 (resized).JPGIMG_7256 (resized).JPG

    #423 6 years ago

Oh btw,the lock miter bit arrived, from ali express, and it doesn't fit our router
Glad we build the cab this way,no regrets

"BAAAAAAAAAAM!" lets see some more crazy mansion madness!

    No dude,it is clearly:
    BOOM!
    Just messing,let's go!
This is a foam core block i found in the garbage,it is great to make a mock up for the mansion with this

After some little shaving off material, this shape feels right

    IMG_7129 (resized).JPGIMG_7129 (resized).JPG

    #427 6 years ago

We are totally using this ramp in this build for a special reason

    IMG_7130 (resized).JPGIMG_7130 (resized).JPG

    #428 6 years ago

    Oh yeah!
    Trapdoor flap assembly!
Swoosh! Where did the ball go?!

    IMG_7131 (resized).JPGIMG_7131 (resized).JPG

    #429 6 years ago

    Love the trap door!

    #430 6 years ago
    Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

    Love the trap door!

    Hey buddy!
    Good you are here!
Yeah, this ramp fits like a glove next to the mansion?
And on the outer left will be the loop,a real superfast loop, with a cool brand new spinner from pinball life!

    IMG_7133 (resized).JPGIMG_7133 (resized).JPG

    #431 6 years ago

Now the most important thing when you build a pinball...put the biggest stuff on the playfield first!
The tiny stuff you can move about later..
Here is the UFO mech,it has to be on the outer right side of the mansion..
But hey...it will hit the mansion during flight...hm

    IMG_7134 (resized).JPGIMG_7134 (resized).JPG

    #432 6 years ago

Wrote some ideas on the foam, ignore those,it miggt change.
    Just thinking out loud

    #433 6 years ago

    Beep beep beep!
    got distracted there...

    IMG_7136 (resized).JPGIMG_7136 (resized).JPG

    #434 6 years ago

Can't get over how nice the mansion sits next to the ramp's right coil cover

    IMG_7138 (resized).JPGIMG_7138 (resized).JPG

    IMG_7139 (resized).JPGIMG_7139 (resized).JPG

    #435 6 years ago

But back to our problem, the mansion needs to sink into the playfield when the ufo is flying...
This is a one minute sketch, for a mansion elevator

    IMG_7164 (resized).JPGIMG_7164 (resized).JPG

    #436 6 years ago

Better just start welding...stupid drawing is only confusing, who needs em?

    IMG_7163 (resized).JPGIMG_7163 (resized).JPG

    #437 6 years ago

    This is what we need

    IMG_7172 (resized).JPGIMG_7172 (resized).JPG
    IMG_7174 (resized).JPGIMG_7174 (resized).JPG

    #438 6 years ago

    Current sounds over here:
    Hm ...yeah ...ehr.. hm..

    IMG_7175 (resized).JPGIMG_7175 (resized).JPG

    IMG_7176 (resized).JPGIMG_7176 (resized).JPG

    #439 6 years ago

This basically is the housing for the lift,i added a support bracket to make it rigid

    IMG_7179 (resized).JPGIMG_7179 (resized).JPG

    #440 6 years ago

Now the underside needs some welding..we have to angle gring every metal plate out of something else...it is loud over here tonight

    IMG_7180 (resized).JPGIMG_7180 (resized).JPG

    #441 6 years ago

    Boom!
    Solid!

    IMG_7181 (resized).JPGIMG_7181 (resized).JPG

    #442 6 years ago

I found these for free,i have used numerous ones for the minion machine, someone threw them away but they are brand new and strong.
I had 16 of these and there are 2 left.

    image (resized).jpgimage (resized).jpg

    #443 6 years ago

    Strrrrong!

    IMG_7182 (resized).JPGIMG_7182 (resized).JPG

    #444 6 years ago

    This will work!

    IMG_7183 (resized).JPGIMG_7183 (resized).JPG

    IMG_7184 (resized).JPGIMG_7184 (resized).JPG

    #445 6 years ago

This will be the actual lift

    IMG_7191 (resized).JPGIMG_7191 (resized).JPG

    #446 6 years ago

    IMG_7192 (resized).JPGIMG_7192 (resized).JPG

    #447 6 years ago

    IMG_7196 (resized).JPGIMG_7196 (resized).JPG

    IMG_7197 (resized).JPGIMG_7197 (resized).JPG

    IMG_7198 (resized).JPGIMG_7198 (resized).JPG

    IMG_7199 (resized).JPGIMG_7199 (resized).JPG

    #450 6 years ago

This is the correct circle we need to make the mansion go up entirely.
Real easy,it has to be slightly higher as the mansion..
