I’ll just download pygame for python 2.7....remember...this machine is build on mpf version 0.21 so the all in one installer is gone from the interweb.
So i have to figure out how to repair this old framework.
Normally you just install MPF again...but my code does not work with that.
I worked on the DMPM code for 2.5 years and i am not starting over again.
    No way!

I see one thing that could be causing problems. You are operating in a directory named ".../THE SAVE 4.8 YES!" Lots of software packages can't tolerate spaces and special characters (!) in file paths. Notice all the paths on that DOS command window don't have spaces in them.

    Just something to try.

DLLs are "Demand Link Libraries" - ways to share common code between different partitions (users), a bane of Windows

Yeah i see what you mean, but it used to work fine?
It is just a dumb name i gave my code, used to call it 0.1 and such but one day i got closer to a final code and called it :“thé save” and later fixed some bugs, hence the 4.8 and the yes! ( final cut ).
I will change it tonight...see what happens.
No way i am starting over again.
That code took some years off my life

    #4770 5 years ago

I already found out pygame was gone?
    Reinstalled it but still nothing.
Wish the all in one installer link was still live...this stuff is so annoying to figure out?
No clue why windows threw some stuff off?

    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Yes but don't forget that Heineken put them back on plus a bonus!

    #4772 5 years ago

Hm,i took spaces out a few minutes ago but put them back in.
I also tested my mpf version.
I seem to be running v0.21.6
    So that is ok.

    image (resized).jpgimage (resized).jpg
    #4773 5 years ago

Looks like you are just missing some bits on the media controller side of mpf. The old MPF side is long gone unfortunately. Theoretically pygame should be all you need. Did you try to install it via pip?

    Hi guys!
Mic is a little late(working,he’ll be joining us later!)

First things first,my black nail is separating(i grinded off the black part with my angle grinder, which worked really well actually!) but now a thin part of my nail is close to the edge and bending real easily...so let’s reinforce!

So what has happened this week?
Well, for starters,i’ve been trying to repair the broken MPF 0.21.6 framework(due to a windows update) and that kinda failed.

Real bummer, spent 2.5 years on the code and i have like 10 backups...but the framework is toast...and since the download does not excist anymore,i likely have to start over again.
    Yup...

The ramp flap hols are located exactly underneath our new upper playfield..so i can mount some threaded rods/levelers there.
We need to be able to adjust it so it is level.

    In the meantime...
    Check this out..
Our Dutch pinball museum got a visit from one of my heros...Barry Hay!
(Who the fuck is that you might think...)

He is the frontman of the Golden Earring...the Twilight Zone pinball actually plays their song..
Their biggest hit over at your continent was Radar Love...so now you are up to speed...
I regularly go to their concerts and genuinly love these old rockers.

So to be clear...on the left, our big friend Gerard(the suit kinda gives it away)and on your right our dutch rock legend Barry Hay.

It was good for a headline in our National online newspaper,THAT is how important it was!
    Cool right!?
The article is in Dutch, but you get it...kind of a big deal.
