Quoted from hawkmoon:2 Rudy heads?? Why not!!!
Dude,where have you been?!
Quoted from Marten:You can also buy the right size allen keys here in Holland at Flipperwinkel.nl so no need to send them across the ocean!
I will never buy at Flipperwinkel.nl cause the guy is an imbecil.
Let me get that out there...Hans Balk is a rude, weird, narcistic imbecil.
To begin:he always treats you like you are stupid...HE knows it all...and you are stupid...that’s where you start..
But for some reason you deal with that.
Last time i dealt with him,i had a friend visiting my car shop from the top of the Netherlands and i asked him to pick up my pinball parts order...he made an insane detour to help me out.
I made a very superclear appointment between my friend and flipperwinkel and Hans simply decided not to be there on the agreed time(no note on his window, phone off, lights off)...leaving my buddy waiting for like a fucking hour.
I told my buddy to forget about my order but he incisted to wait.
I felt so bad i asked him to pick the order up and have him standing there..
Then my buddy arrives at my car shop with half my order?
So i call Hans and he’s like:” yeah i might’ve forgot some shit...ah well... you can order the rest via the website and pay shipping for it”.(and he is telling me this all relaxed, like it is supernormal?)
At a certain point in the conversation he decides it is all my fault and my emails are blurry to him(i sent him a fucking list?)and he compares his one man shop with electronics giant CoolBlue!.
Dude,i fucking exploded!?
I took a breath...told him if he really thought i was gonna order the rest of my stuff through the website and pay shipping,he’s even crazier than i thought?!
The odds i am gonna eat poop, are greater than me ever ordering at flipperwinkel.nl again.
Quoted from tommyp:You guys need to resend a better pic on what you need them to remove. It was kinda dark, but I feel like those looked like torx, not Allen head screws. If they are, no amount of Allen wrenches will remove them...wrong bit.
No,there is never torx on a pinball...maybe jjp or some other newer style machine.
Quoted from Pintucky:After reading that, I'm never going to drive over there and buy things from him!
Hahaha!!
Quoted from Travish:It's probably one if those $20 shipping and when you get it the postage says $2.50.
Yeah, parcel price for something that fits an envelope...he pulls stuff like that too.
If i buy one IC , i pay shipping for a parcel.
When my buddy went over there,i added a lot of stuff to my order cause he was going there anyway and saved me on shipping....
But that is just one situation you know...
When i was new to the hobby,i ordered the latest update game roms for my cirqus voltaire...when they arrived,it wasn’t clear to me where the roms should be placed,so i called Flipperwinkel...
Hans started laughing at me and told me if i was that incompetent,i better not touch anything?
I was like woooow dude...you had to learn this at some point in your life and this is my moment and i am asking you right now so i can learn right?
Now THAT is the kind of guy Hans Balk is...
I don’t care if i have to fly in parts from Australia per private jet,he will never get one more penny from me.
And if people show him this rant, fine, don’t care either...he doesn’t belong in this hobby.
In this hobby,we share information and we help eachother out...
We are the custodians of pinball...us...together...with our collective databases in our heads...pass it on to new generations.
(Mic drop/crowd cheering )
Quoted from jokerpoker:Side note, that finger nail is starting to look lose. My date in March is looking shaky.
Another great build. Headbox is looking insane!!!
Hahaha! Yup it is finally about to grow out! Your forecast is under pressure
The headbox is gonna be majestic man...superfun!
I am hoping on the nano controller arriving this week and start on getting this machine to life!
Quoted from WJxxxx:It was a pleasure working on something a bit simpler. I've had a bit of practice
I like how you made some parts of the cheetah legs (cheetah right?) darker, creating the illusion of shadow.
Nice work man, just don’t ruin all the doors in your house...your wife is gonna be pissed!
Quoted from _KIRK_:You guys are my new heroes!
And pinball is our kryptonite
Quoted from Puffdanny:There's torx on my rfm to get off the speaker panel
You had to find that one screw in an entire pinball era huh buddy
Quoted from rufessor:I am going to convert my EM that is currently in pieces to use all Torx bits! Then send it to the Netherlands where such a tool does not exist- and offer free repair services with a paid airfare
Hahaha we have torx bro, only our allen keys are a different thickness so ours are shit when you want to repair a pinball.
You guys have a very weird metric system...why 1 3/16 inch and stuff?
And 6 foot? Why on earth would you want to measure something by an amount of feet
Over here,i measure 1 meter and 90 centimeter in length...in the usa i am 6 foot 2 or sumtin’
When you are born on this side of the atlantic,it is just so silly?
Why a foot?
Why not hotdogs??
They vary way less in size?
I’d be 12 hotdogs long?!
Feet often vary in size a lot?
I mean...who’s foot became the standard?
The guy who invented the metric foot?
Or is it an average of the average human foot?
Did they include little people in the calculation?
I need info on that!
So i read the wiki and this is quite interesting:
“A foot is by international agreement as equivalent to 0.3048 meters exactly.”
Wikipedia acknowledges that a foot is actually 0.3048 meters!
See?
MIC DROP!
Even wikipedia uses the metric system to explain what a foot actually is!
(I am pulling your leg guys..ofcourse you accept what is used and taught around you in life).
But it is real funny if you think about it...for example:how do three foot become a yard?
As a European it is hard to wrap your head around that...we can measure a size of something to the millimeter exact.
A pinball cab is 135,5 cm in length,i could never call it “a yard, one foot and 6 inches”.
Quoted from Pintucky:I made an attempt at humor mainly for YOUR enjoyment, Mr. pinballrockstar. But I see I have been down-voted, and it appears 'someone' doesn't seem to get the drift of my dry humor. I am hoping you take this as a fun thing and not a slam at you. Some readers may not see this was my attempt at self-deprecation: Making fun of myself and our 'American ways'.
The only thing REAL in my post was about football. If the field was divided by metrics, the people would be absolutely baffled and confused, and the sport would probably die. We need our 10 Yards to get our First Downs!
No man,i really enjoyed this and i learned a lot.
Did not misinterpreted your post at all dude..
I really get it now,in movies you always here the narrator shouting about a 10 yard line.
It is indeed an instant visual in your head.
I like everything usa since i was a kid man...so i am always very keen to learn stuff.
With you guys,i get educated by the pros and i feel blessed we can debate about stuff sometimes.
40 years ago all of this wasn’t possible,we wouldn’t be able to have a cosy topic on pinside together.
Beautiful time to be alive...
Zaza,dude...legend...like...the perfect joke in this piece about the metric system.
You rock brother..i showed it to literally everybody
The giant wire form ramp from rescue 911 is almost at the post office...it is traveling to Monkeybug in Canada...a fellow Fast user who needs it for a rescue 911 retheme on Fast.
Always supportive of projects like that
Post the arrival of the package in the topic bro, that is fun!

Hi guys!
It is friday!
Mic is working a little late,he’ll be here in a bit.
Dick has shifts from hell these days.
But let’s start!
First off, check my new cool Brewstew hoodie!
I am a big fan!
Even have a brewstew coffee mug
What?
You don’t know brewstew?
Get over there quick!
This week,i was at the local hobby store with my kids.
You know,a shop where the sales lady has pink hair and purple lipstick and they sell the weirdest things that you never want to do as a hobby.
But i found some great mdf pieces that might work for us!
Check em out!

Quoted from Atari_Daze:Wow, those glasses fit perfect. How fortuitous!
Yeah? Just my thought!
Mic will totally be working on his bannister when he gets here..
Me i am working on the mansion,i took it out yesterday..
Unpleasant job,the new motor has issues.
I just now ran off to the hardware store(it is a 1 minute drive from my house if i floor the Tesla ) cause i realised it was near their closing time and we have no material to make the railing for the bannister!
So i ran inside, the woman on speaker shouting the store is about to close...the stress...
Anyway i grabbed 3 different ones cause i cannot choose in stressful situations!

Another thing i am going to fix right now is the 2 sliders/stabilizers in the elevator.
They drag too much,so i am gonna fabricate 2 simple roller bearings that i invented while i was on the toilet...that’s where my greatest achievements are created
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Your not the only one!
Yeah that is where stuff comes together man
So i cut off a piece of metal tube,i am gonna use that as a roller on this axle..gonna use 2 washers to box it in.
Quoted from DDDwingmaster:I was waiting till the heads were going to sing or scream after seeing this picture.
Are you going to add that? Nice screams ?!
Ofcourse, but we still don’t have the new nano controller to operate them
So let’s have a whiskey and build a banister!!!
Quoted from Pinzap:Quite a few pics of that wonderful Black Nail today!! I have tried to keep the "Thumb posts" to a minimum as to not derail the thread, but please forgive the one interruption here for a final update. For those who aren't aware of what I'm talking about, read posts 2268-2277.
Here is another link to the poll that was setup to guess when the black would be completely gone from the thumbnail. http://bebepool.com/pinzap
To be fair to everyone and prevent late guessing from being much more accurate, I am locking the poll next Friday. There were several pics today so if anyone wants to update their guess, go ahead and enter a new guess and I will delete all but the last guess once the poll closes. This will allow early guessers to be on the same footing so to speak as those just entering the contest now with more recent pics. Oh yes, and PLEASE be sure to use your pinside name when entering (no email please)... I already saw at least 1 guess from a name I couldn't find on Pinside.
Thanks Mic and again, pardon the interruption. Absolutely LOVE the way the backbox is turning out!!! Carry on...
Hahaha,superfun dude
Meantime in amigo headquarter:
Debating about the bannister...
Quoted from rkahr:This, along with the picture posted with it -

(from post 2654 above) cracked me up because it looks like the two heads in the backbox are part of the debate! Thanks for another fun Friday.

Yeah the heads often debate us on the plans..they also tell a joke every once in a while
Quoted from Zitt:That eye is funking awesome. Am I the only one who thinks the Amigos to use a red fine tipped sharpie and put some read veins on the eyeball so it look bloodshot from excessive drinking... or to little sleep from the insane patients?
Sidenote!
Quoted from rufessor:I wonder if you painted the underside black but for a spider web series of blood shot veins... if it would back light well and you could then see the blood shot veins change color. One could even place a filter to block the normal color light (mostly) and then the veins would appear when the eye turned to red or something like that.
Cool idea
We are gonna run a test on that.
Quoted from swinks:awesome work and cool effect
It is a very cool spray can dude, the structure amazes me!
Quoted from Pintucky:Yes, it did! I kept pacing the floor trying to calm down, but got even more agitated when I realized I had paced approximately 30 yards and realized I could not quickly convert that to meters.
I tried to take a 'calm down pill' but struggled to figure out if I needed just half a pill or 30 grams.
Our King Size bed only brought more angst as I couldn't tell if King could be converted to metrics.
I figured that by staying awake with the lights on I was burning even more Kw hours, and wondered for 2 hours why we use that instead of some other conversion.
As the night wore on, I got out my old 5th bottle of Jim Beam bourbon and while sipping a drink notice on the bottle it was no longer called a 5th, but 750 milileters! It just kept getting worse when I mixed it with a 2 liter Coke!!! What happened to the 2 quart version?!!!
I finally caved in and forced myself to try and sleep. Looked over at the digital clock and it turned from 2 a.m. to 0200 hours!!! What the F?!!! It's a slow sabotage of the American way of life!
It's all good! When I realized you too were trying to be humorous, my butt-hole relaxed 30 cm.
Hahaha
Quoted from Marten:Bannister looks fantastic
Thanks bro,it is funny how Mic envisioned the entire thing from cutting a very crappy paper bannister ( paper prototype bannister picture below..)
Thing is,we were actually shocked how straight and perfect it turned out? Totally not our style...we are always off by 1/16 of an inch.
Shitty thing being,we have to keep up that quality now...the bar is raised!
And on sunday, when i am cleaning up all the mess we made, you find evidence that Mic was not satisfied right away,he made some different columns before he gave it his stamp of approval..
You don’t notice it while he is busy on a friday, but he is not always satisfied with the outcome and starts again.
We have a total of 12 hours in this bannister, but we really couldn’t be happier with the result..
Ofcourse,if you 3d print stuff it’s way less work...but we like to come up with an idea, look at the tools we have, and start making it.
Just old skool Dutch handcraft
Quoted from Drewscruis:I think you mean 1.5875mm.........LOL
No i am off the metric system now man
Quoted from nitrojcrawf:You need to figure out how to incorporate these into the project:
https://learn.adafruit.com/animated-electronic-eyes-using-teensy-3-1/overview
Wow! Those are cool!!
Quoted from Jjsmooth:Do yourselves a favor. Buy a small air compressor and brad nailer. Very inexpensive these days. Seeing you guys with hammer and nails on that railing was painful.
Good luck with the project.
Jerry
Thanks Jerry, but we cannot have a poll without my occasional black nail.
Quoted from chad:Looking good. Keep it going.
Thanks for your support Chad!
Quoted from swinks:but Shapeways is Dutch
the hand rail / balcony looks sweet
Thanks buddy!
Quoted from jabdoa:MPF might get support for SSD1306-based OLEDs via I2C soon: https://www.adafruit.com/product/938 (unfortunately no color). There is also a slightly smaller version of that display (0.96''). It will act as a DMD and can be controlled via MPF-MC. You need an I2C adapter which start at less than 10€. You could use those to animate eyes but you would have to create the animations on your own.
It kicks ass man, gonna look into that
Quoted from Pintucky:Ah! I see you have seen the light and are talking "inches" instead of them complicated meter things.
1.5875 cm. Now how in the hell can your brain see THAT?! 1/16th is always 'seeable' in the mind's eye!
Yeah i really get it,the yard lines in american football made me understand it.
Still all our tape measures are metric, but hey,i’ll just use both!
I am smart,i can do that
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:I'm really glad to see you guys! Your Friday posts are something I can look forward to every week, life has been pretty lame lately.
Bring on the Crazy Mansion and Lord Grimm!
Good to hear buddy, remember, without you guys, this topic is nothing
Quoted from Dee-Bow:Any hawkmoon coin door special joining u boys today!?
Hey deebow!
First things first,buying some aerosols!
Quoted from toyotaboy:If that mansion is too heavy, you could have just made the lower section out of thick steel and made the rest with thin.. Or maybe make the whole thing light but put a heavy duty fence around the bottom (and some posts to protect the edges of the doorways).
Also I'm jealous of your Hornbach store.. make our home improvement stores in the states look like crap. Rivets in retail? Never see that.
Dude this store is the best!
Ok,Mic clearly wants to make a door tonight, doodling with a template right now.
Quoted from hodgesm0:Drawbridge that comes down and spills out multi-ball onto the playfield!
Fun idea dude!!
Quoted from CobraClutch:Totally agree. Always excited to see what you guys come up with.
Thanks man! Cool you like our little topic
In my guitar studio i have a crazy amount of neodymium magnets...i stuck em there to my heater pipes cause i am actually mildly scared of em...
I have 36 real fat ones,it was collecting all the tools on my workbench..
In the morning all my tools were in one place..
But i have a cool idea for the back latch lock...look at these...perfect!

Quoted from Pinzap:16 guesses in for the black nail pool. Officially locked today and posted here for reference...
Now we wait for Mic to monitor and let us know when it's all gone. Moved quite a bit over the last week it looks like.
Great pool man,superfun!!
Mic says:Allright dude! I keep an eye on that nail!
Quoted from Pinzap:Dammit.. I meant Bas... been a long week (really long). I realized I referred to you as Mic twice now even though I know better. Oops... sorry.
Mic is a way more honest judge than me
Quoted from Pinzap:yeah, but if you wake up in the morning and it's gone, we want that to be the time. I purposefully guessed a morning time as I thought that might be the time you'd notice first... like when brushing teeth or something.
Now, if Mic is with you when you wake up, we need to talk!!
Aaah right!
Nooo mic is not there when i wake up
Indeed i’ll be the first to notice..
I am gonna post the moment i clip it off with my clipper.
Quoted from Thor-NL:No Carnaval for The Amigos, could think of some dope outfits to steal the show for you guys
Too busy brother
Quoted from Thor-NL:Deeply in his hart Mic is a miniature achitect
Yeah he wants to make a mansion style porch too

Quoted from DennisDodel:You guys should sell advertising space on your walls. Help pay for the builds.
Hahaha who knows in the future!?
Quoted from Pintucky:This is one of the greatest things I've ever witnessed! Can't wait to see these weekly posts on here. You guys are so much fun, I think I'll sell my home and move over there next to you!
Thank you so much man,you guys are always so nice to us...
I hope one day you ALL move into our street...every evening you’d be like; hey,i see John’s busy in his pinball project garage, gonna walk over there with my beer and see if i can help him with sumtin’...
That is how life should be..
Have a real life amigo topic.
Quoted from swillie:I hereby declare Friday the 13th of April,
"Black nail Friday."
Great fun tuning in again Amigos, best thread on the web !!
Lol,yeah you just might be right,it grew out quite a bit in a few days.
Quoted from Zitt:Great Update!
Here's mine:
» YouTube video
I had to troubleshoot a bad resistor in the main flicker LED circuit which was causing 3 of the LEDs not to light.
Once I figured that out; I had an issue with the UV LEDs I speced which seemed to be junk... they couldn't handle being soldered to the board?!
I put a set UV 1206 LED I had in my parts bin... let me know if you guys want me to try and find a better UV LED.
Wow!
No John,don’t change a thing!
It looks wicked!!
Hahaha that’s gonna look soooo cool man.
And what a rockstar presentation man..awesome!!
I already sent you my adress right?!
Let’s roooock!!!!
It is awesome friday and i feel great man!
Mic is working some overtime, haven’t heard from Dick but he has a new girlfriend for short while now so we should probably do the math.
Getting laid surpasses pinball easily
But anyway,i feel like starting this pinball friday with some wiring man!
The nano controller replacement is here!!
Customs made us pay €27 tax but fuck it,it’s finally here! (Lie people, put a value of €2 on the box,Just lie? Waste of money)
Sadly Fast was out of servo controller boards and i ordered a shitload of servos...so that did not go as planned but what the hell...it’s not like we are almost done right?
Ton of things to do!

Quoted from Atari_Daze:Holy craps, I'm up to my eyeballs trying to finish my SBM and ordering parts for Atlantis, I forgot it was Friday.
Whoa hoo!
Dude screw that !
It is friday !
And we are adults !
And we have liquor !
And we can do whatever we want !
Let’s get drunk and build !
Skull bottle is filled with 18 year old single malt Glenfiddich...life is good man..
Quoted from Manimal:Tip: The more you drink, the easier they get!
Yeah...that never happens to me...
But let’s drink and see!!
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Alright!!!!!! it's Friday. Time for the best Pinside Thread! I love these guys!
Dude we love you too, good you attended the show tonight!
Gonna be fun! Cheers!
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:And I notice the Big Thumbs Up!!!!!! looks a little funny to me????????
Yeah i am hiding the black nail with black nailpolish, whoever’s date guess in the black nail poll is the closest, wins a pinball amigos tee or a pinball amigos baseball cap!
So go to the poll and put in your vote!
Yeah these wires are great!
I took a few pics of items i ripped out of the gottlieb cab.
Great red flipper buttons and switches ánd i saw a cool tilt bob too but it is damn cold outside and i almost froze to death...(okay okay...that did not happen, but it was very cold though..)

617993A6-7AEB-434C-948C-79BFCDE2DAEF (resized).jpeg
This is a smaller connector for the flipper buttons wiring.
These .100” tabs btw are harder to crimp cuz they tiny man...wow...
The long wiring i salvaged has a connector half way...so if the playfield needs to come out,i can unplug it.
Thát was a dumb mistake with the Despicable Me pinball...you bump into eachother the entire time..
This time around,i can take out the playfield when Mic is busy with the mansion for example.
The switch still has its screws from the gottlieb cab, bolts right on
Quoted from peaceboy666:like the fart button on previous machine, another unique start button would be great if only a minor thing, like maybe a doorbell button with a crazy sounding type of doorbell
Oh yeah totally bro,we’ll figure out something dark...
We’ll come up with something unique
D3B81B63-4721-4B11-927D-94EA3DE815FD (resized).jpeg
Mic wants to make a panel door that looks like one door but opens in two parts..hinging to the inside this time.
I did not like the visible mech stuff despicable me shows when the door is open..
5CDAC646-D90D-4581-BF99-5CDF8C7EE153 (resized).jpeg
31AC742B-EBEF-4C3C-8407-2D8C79B6E384 (resized).jpeg
Mic sawed the doors in half, oncoming week we’ll buy some tiny hinges in a hobby shop.
The doors need to open to the inside...there is little room inside the mansion and the door can’t open all the way if we made the door in one piece.
So this is the way to go...
Quoted from smiley:Great progress, as
Lways a fun read.
Thanks bro!
Last thing we do is attempt to cut a window out of our old despicable me playfield overlay.
Cause mic saw a great cracked window in there...
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:First contact!!! Badass!!!
Now anything is possible.
Love the way the doors are coming together.
Yeah!
Still for the life of me i dunno what went wrong with the other nano?
Why do we always blow something up at first try??
Quoted from fastpinball:Awesome! The first time you get first flips on a system you wire up from top to bottom (or is it bottom to top?) is a pretty great feeling! Now things are going to really get moving!
Congrats guys!
Aaron
FAST Pinball
I think top to bottom..
Dude tell us what we owe u for the nano replacement and keep us in the loop for the servo boards!
Thanks for the service.
Quoted from FreeBee:Good call on that protector over the boards. For some reason, I always seem to drop the damn screws right down in the cabinet, it would happen to me. Also, the doors look great, real creativity there!
Yup,not gonna have that happening dude..no way!
Quoted from BleacherBum:Is that it for this week? Noooo, I want more! Do now I have to wait a whole week to get more Pinball Amigos. I think I am starting to have withdraw symptoms mid week. Can never get enough of your pinball magic.
But we were tired at 01:30
Quoted from DennisDodel:The doors look fantastic! I was hoping you guys would give the mansion a more run down look.
I love the concrete railing, but I was hoping it would have a few of the balusters missing or hanging loose. But it still looks good.
Yeah we are absolutely gonna give it that abandoned look,we’ll figure that out..
But the bannister build was so precise and then when it is ready it looks too perfect.
But we’ll airbrush it wasted/add some concrete cracks and some weeds growing through it and stuff.
Quoted from Mbecker:Awesome doors!!
Can the black nail go on the wall of misfortune when it finally meets its end??
No that failure belongs to the ‘weeks with injuries board’
Quoted from rufessor:Awesome to see the doors evolve like that- super fun build and it would seem you have the FAST system up and running!! Congrats- seems like you got that running pretty easily- just a small hiccup and away you go@@!!
Yeah it is a real nifty board set and goes to show if you learn something new,it makes building easier!
The Despicable Me build was based on world cup soccer cause we didn’t know anything about building custom machines.
So we were relocating every switch, coil and motor plus adding length to wires.
The figuring out what certain color wires were with the WCS manual took so much time.
But it was the best way we knew at that time.
In the despicable me code, every switch still has its world cup soccer name and that is not a big help either if you have whole new playfield layout.
Quoted from swinks:those doors are great, great progress for another week
Yeah Mic was shocked too they turned out this way...
We experience that often...we build something and an hour later we’re staring at it like:”duuuude that looks sick?”
Quoted from jabdoa:Congratulations to getting it flipping! You might consider switching to MPF 0.50/dev right away since this is a new project. Should be sufficiently stable and will be released in the next month. That will save you the migration later on. Also gives you access to new features.
Jan
Thanks for the heads up Jan,i will totally do that.
With the DMPM pinball project we were on old v0.21 all the time plus the mpf website went down...that sucked ass.
As if it wasn’t hard to figure out already?
Quoted from tommyp:Start button idea: gargoyle with an open mouth. Make the start button recessed so you have to stick your finger in to press the button. Every x % of games, program in a light shock. The crazy lord with the watchful eye trying to scare you away. Tie the shocks in with an evil laugh outta the game
Yeah great idea!
We are putting a conventional start button in the cab(cause we need a basic game running to test our shots)and later we add an ornament or gargoyle.
You are getting it
Quoted from tommyp:Actually..if someone can 3d print one...red led's on the eyes would be pretty cool too...
Yeah that would be awesome right?
Quoted from SunKing:Congrats on a great build so far Amigo's!
There's one thing that's been bothering me, and I hesitated to say anything because I don't want to sound critical....but.... On the balcony banisters, why aren't the corners nice banisters as well, instead of a square post?
Haha, yes well,we actually found a lot of pics of bannisters online with the square posts on the corners!
I guess these concrete bannisters need to be reinforced on the corners or sumtin?

Quoted from SunKing:I hesitated to say anything because I don't want to sound critical
Please be critical btw,our point of view is kinda biased.
Your eyes and opinion are absolutely important to us.
This is by no means a “only give compliments” topic.
Quoted from jabdoa:If somebody designs it I can print and mail it.
Oh that is supercool of you dude!
We registered you in the big Pinball Amigo book (3d print section) of friends and please don’t pull back when we reach the point of dressing up the cab and we ask you for this favor
We need to know what we do for cab artwork first and thén we can decide on the gargoyle.
Quoted from swinks:Head to thingiverse and search gargoyle and there are close to 10 different ones there for free download and print
Aah great idea!
Thanks man,i hear more and more about thingiverse.
Quoted from Pinzap:I get so much joy from catching up on your build status every Friday... and I've learned so much in a short amount of time about how some of the parts of my own pinball machines work by watching you assemble them from scratch. But the complete lack of any ego on your part just floors me. People criticize the smallest details that seem perfect to most of us and you have absolutely a great attitude about it and always a pleasant response. I can assure you that I don't have anywhere near the skill needed to pull off a thread like this, but even if I did, I would either be pissed or crushed within the first couple of pages of posts and drop it right away.
Keep up the good work. And be sure to post how we can get some of that pinball Amigo merchandise when you're ready to sell. I see that you're giving some away to the best guesser for the nail contest, but I would definitely be willing to buy some if I don't win. I see this as a great way to support your efforts.
Hey buddy,thanks,real nice words!
Great to hear you dig our cosy pinside hangout!
I guess through comments,we get to look through your eyes and even negative comments help you see things from another angle..
We don’t want to push every idea through the narrow tunnel of OUR vision..
And who are we to think we know it all?
Together you always know more..
About the merch:
I should be shot how long i am taking to get the merch topic on the road.
But it’s on its way! And it is absolutely coming,so hold on!
Buying our merch goes straight into the Crazy Mansion ánd the cancer foundation.
But we also want to donate something to pinside!
After all that is the foundation that you unites you!...me!....everybody!...
Allright,i am gonna install a shooter lane switch...and wire it,we need a bunch of things in order to run a basic game...
These sega switches have a reversable baseplate, awesome switches!
We want to have something very simple running,so we can shoot stuff and see if it is 100% awesome!
(If it is like 80% awesome we’ll toss the shot)
Quoted from Phatchit:I’m totally down . I would throw some advertising dollars your way . Pm me and let’s talk guys
As long as your logo isn’t a dick&balls,we are down for it.
PM sent.
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Mic is Pablo Picasso and Michelangelo all rolled into one!!!!
Yup!
Rivets as door knobs!
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:Well, he's just sticking to the name.
"The Crazy Mansion"
Mic says; DONE!
Except for the one window..
Quoted from donnj:Awesome Amigos!!! many thanks, Have a great weekend also...
Thanks pinball brother, time for Dialed In
Quoted from Mbecker:The level of detail — holy shit!!! Looks so amazing !
Hahaha thanks!
Quoted from SunKing:Are you sure that's moss?
Absolutely, strange thing is,we had to show our ID to buy it...weird store
Quoted from swillie:Just had my Friday evening beer/crazy mansion update session. A lot of great progress today, entertaining as always. Those air brush effects Mic did look great, the 'concrete' really looks cracked and weathered. That mailbox, freakin' awesome!!
Yeah it looks old and miserable, just how i feel when i wake up on saturday!
Quoted from swinks:those doors come up incredible as well as the concrete painted gear, beautiful work Mic & team
Yeah an airbrush gives you way more creative freedom than an aerosol.
Mic gives everything nice detail.
We are gonna make the Despicable Me pinball look like a toy if we continue this path.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:» YouTube video
Awesome! Its exactly how my mornings start!
Much thanks for the weekly Smiles!
Mine too Art! We have a lot in common!
Quoted from Marten:Cool! Always fun to read!
You are really taking this machine to the next level!
We really want to give the mansion an eerie, creepy look...
All backboxes should deliver what they promise,if you promote flashy, your game should play flashy...but backboxes often lie..
Ours is dark and creepy, the game will aldo be dark and creepy.
