Great build this week, and backbox looking stellar!

Thanks bro,it’s hard to get these kids to do something these days, but eversince my son saw the Christine movie,he wants to be like Arnie Cunningham
So i grab that with both hands!
What a stupid place to put your valves adjustment btw...absolutely brutal!
We are struggling man...59 year old car
Haha, I love working on older cars. Good job teaching your son. I recently worked on teaching my 9 year old daughter how to do a brake job, but her attention span is so short it was hard to keep her involved for all 4 wheels.
I remember my dads 1959 Plymouth Fury it had a V8 that smoked a lot. I used to sit on my dads lap and drove the Plymouth. I do not know how old I was then, but I am 70 now.
Edit. I just remembered I went to a classic car shop and the car Christine was there for sale. I went there looking to buy a Lotus which I did not buy

I hear you,my daughter is 11 years old , when she asks me a question ( and i am like, wow? I am gonna take my time to tell her the answer!! ) ,i start telling her the answer, she rolls her eyes halfway and loses interest to hear me out

Yeah these Plymouths are probably not the best cars right?
And man...parts are hard to come by.
But you NEVER forgot your dads Plymouth, and that’s what’s special about these cars, real nice and rare body lines.
I really like em...
The Christine car is so awesome...beautiful side trim....legend has it she(the car in the movie) is actually a Plymouth Belvedere.
But they used the name Fury because it obviously fitted the evil nature of Christine waaay better.
They will never make movies like that again.
We have all these awesome special effects nowerdays, but it just don’t feel the same anymore.
I recently bought a nice and supercomplete ‘59 corvette 283 small block with powerglide transmission, been thinking to throw that in the Plymouth but it feels kinda wrong..
The flathead 6 is original to my survivor car but it is idling real rough lately.
Gonna source some cables and plugs in an attempt to keep it original.

I couldn't agree more. The only way humanity is going to make it out of this alive, is by sticking together. Cheers.
Quoted from mcbPalisade:I think you should rename this pin "Curse of the Black Thumbnail" : - )
Or; "Damnit; I hit my thumb again!"
Or; "Hammers hurt"

Look you gotta move the thumb before you slam that hammer down...
Maybe we should get the other amigos... to locate every hammer you own... lock them in a hidden toolbox and only bring them out when you can be supervised.
Quoted from Marten:Just use rubber hammers from now on.
And DEFINATELY don't pick up a dead blow hammer, we'll have to put your cremated remains in the attic ) - :
