Quoted from swinks:you guys are the backbox masters, well done, game is looking sweet
Thanks pinball brother
Very nice guys! Maybe you going to set a new trend, and the regular pinball manufacturers now going to make real backboxes too!
Quoted from oldskool1969:In sometimes a sad, crazy world we need insane, creative and funny drunks like the Amigos.
thanks
No control over the world, but we have total control over Pinball Amigos headquarters!
Quoted from DDDwingmaster:Very nice guys! Maybe you going to set a new trend, and the regular pinball manufacturers now going to make real backboxes too!
Hope so!
Backboxes are square!
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:You have Water in Rotterdam with Frogs?
Yeah and they are dumb man
Frogs are smooth and slimey. That looked more like a toad - rougher skin.
They don't live IN the water, just NEAR it.
Lay their eggs in the water and grow up as tadpoles, but crawl out and live on land.

It is real fun to see the shirts and caps pop up everywhere on the planet
Hey Bas, I know you have business in the car industry. Do you have anything to do with Bas international? Just bought a new roadster top and I'm feeling the $pain$. Just say yes so I can feel like my money went to something good.

Hahaha,YES!
Today 2 very nice blokes from Belgium (they followed and enjoyed the Despicable Me build entirely...very very cool to hear!)came to buy my new Starwars, had a great time and for the first time ever(!) they carried it out themselves!
I always end up debolting a backbox in the parking lot in the rain with some asshole with a crazy small car.(“ oh? I thought it would fit??”)
But this time around it was an easy deal,55 games played so it was still brand new...
As you know Houdini and Alice Cooper are in the pipeline so i am making some space already, can’t be too long now for Houdini right?
Houdini is amazing.....you will have a blast! As always, great work on the cabinet. I can't wait to see what is next.........
Quoted from Manimal:Houdini is amazing.....you will have a blast! As always, great work on the cabinet. I can't wait to see what is next.........
Yeah i actually really really like magic themes...
I will never part with my tom and cv(not really magic but it feels like magic )
Quoted from Zitt:Steve Ritchie disapproves
That comment made me think:” what if real pinball designers browse through our homebrew topic...they’d piss their pants laughing? Like; silly noobs...building a pinball with a toyota wiper motor “
Hahahaha!
But on a more serious note,i have a hard time getting into themes like starwars/lotr/hobbit/avatar/any marvel theme..tried starwars but i can’t get into the theme.
I used to deal rare starwars figures on ebay, blue snaggletooth being the rarest i dealt..really like the old series collectibles...but i always end up selling them...i just see how rare and unusual something is and find the right person to sell it to...
Mic reeeally likes marvel for example and i never buy those pins...sad for him,but i just don’t see how a dude can fly and shoot spiderwebs and stuff/robots morphing into things and people being blue and shit?
I wish i’d like it so i had cool toys from my youth and awesome stories but from my youth i have an old yellow tin Tonka fork lift and a smelly brandless stuffed frog...
i found these neat arcade buttons at an arcade parts store on the interweb, you need a bunch of buttons so you can adress some keyboard keys to these switches...i still find this solution estatically pleasing.
IMG_3549 (resized).JPGIMG_3550 (resized).JPGIMG_3551 (resized).JPGIMG_3563 (resized).JPGIMG_3564 (resized).JPGi wanted 3 lcd's from the get go,a hyperpin needs to look like a normal body pinball,i see loads of weird shaped crap projects, but THIS IS the look people….all other size cabs just look stupid...don't go there…
Here i installed the dot matrix lcd...as you see it is way too big but i can crop the dmd on screen and the rest of the lcd hanging there in the cab will be covered up later!
