You guys do incredibly nice work.
Quoted from Honch:You guys do incredibly nice work.
Thanks bro!
Quoted from DDDwingmaster:Are those solar panels not working better when they are on the roof?
I have a house and 2 extra buildings on my property and all roofs are full.
10 of the panels in my bike shed i made myself and worked well...but they had to come off...i needed stronger panels to feed my hungry Tesla.
Quoted from oldskool1969:I cringe every time you guys pick up a power tool!
Love the thread and everything about it.
Hey,we made it through another evening bro!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:.i needed stronger panels to feed my hungry Tesla
If you didn't mash the pedal leaving every stoplight... your Tesla wouldn't be so damn hungry. ;D
I envy you... as I'd really starting to want a Tesla... my issue is I can't seem to go for the cheap ones... cause I want one with the extended range.
Oh well; maybe someone will send me a free winning loto ticket.

Dude you will never drive a gas car ever again.
It is so awesome.
I placed a Tesla charger in front of my house and it charges really fast!
It is a must, cause the normal cord charges insanely slow!
This was the first model s 85 that popped up in the ads for a fair price and i took it.
An s60 will get you nowhere!
This one has great range, this summer i am going to do a Tesla supercharger vacation with it...
Throughout Europe there are strategically placed superchargers that fill your battery in half an hour so you can reach far destinations.
This specific model has lifelong free supercharging.
So i don’t even have to pay for charging!
It’s great being part of this movement!
I just found this thread a couple of weeks ago as I started looking around for folks that were doing homebrews since I decided in january that this was the year I would finally tackle this crazy project and try to make my own. I haven't been super involved with pinside until I came across this thread.
It's been a blast catching up on all 71 pages of this insane crazy mansion adventure!! You guys are amazing and a huge source of encouragement for me!
I'm particularly interested in everything you guys do in learning the FAST system as I think that's the one I'll end up using in mine once I get to that point. I don't have any donor machines to part out, so it'll be a "from the ground up" build, too. So, don't hold back on sharing what you're learning with the FAST system, ok? I hope you don't mind if I start PM'ing you with a gazillion questions once I get in the programming portion of my build. Seriously tho, you guys rock, it's so freaking fun to come in here and see all the stuff you guys think up and just crank out like it's nothing - you move so fast?!?!?!!
I still have no idea how you can drive your Tesla, Bas - aren't you legally blind now with all the welding you do without any goggles? hahahah!!
Keep up the awesome work! I'll be following you all the way!
Hey @skondris, the Pinball Amigos really hook in to their builds and share everything which is great for those wanting to try something crazy like a homebrew.
make sure to check out their minion build and also this thread which is a index of all the homebrew builds on pinside over the last 5 years

While you're at it you might want to go catch up on their first project...

You'll never look at a store endcap the same way again .
haha, awesome. yeah, I've got some catching up to do, for sure.

Hey dude,well...welcome to our crazy topic!
Very cool to hear we motivate you man..
Like the guys mentioned; the minion pinball build was done in a different way, using an excisting Bally pin and a P-ROC board.
This build we wanted to learn new skills and went for a complete starter kit from Fast and build something from scratch.
So far so good
Ask any question you want, the basic game is easy to get going.
We’ll get you there pinball brother.
And btw: My Tesla has Autopilot,it drives by itself (kidding)
Looking at the moving sub playfield today,i am very happy with it..
This is how crappy our first mech was:
This is what the improved mech sounds like...it is fokkin smooth man!
Appearantly, these boosters have a build in tire inflator pump!
Aaaaand guess what?
These are run by 2 very strong electromotors and cause they are automotive voltage...
They are 12 volts!
Excellent voltage to connect to the Fast boards!
They have a nylon gear and a piston that compresses air...
We can take the pistons off and use the motors for sure!
It just goes to show that everything is a potential part for your pinball machine!!?
Sure, the Toyota rear wiper motor i used for the sub playfield is sorta huge and heavy...but due to the large amount of copper windings in that particular motor,it als runs on a way way lower voltage still being strong!
Where a tiny pinball motor will get very weak at lower voltages cause the field gets to weak.
So this scrapheap motor is great for this purpose
I am just saying, look around you in the world...you don’t have to buy shitloads of expensive stuff for your build.
You find good parts in other peoples garbage.
Thanks car boosters for donating your organs!
Now go recycle into sumtin else
So today i bought another rescue 911...i really regret wrecking the other one cause the cab, playfield and legs were really nice
The only thing missing was the boards.
Now i buy an awful condition 911 with working board set but the dmd is not working.
Gottlieb manuals are hard to find on the ole interwebs,
So i have been searching on pure luck the last hour.
Ah well,i still have the playfield over here from the first 911 i bought and it is very reasonable shape.
Again...too bad i ripped it out and cut all the wires.
Now i am looking at a playfield swap.
But i think i am gonna make this thing my special little project...
Now i have enough crap to build 1 good rescue 911.
It fires up,the coils work, the boards work..this thing wants to live and i am gonna help him.
It’s good to see an old game like that get some love! I have been watching your mansion project closely and have sure enjoyed it! Hey it’s friday tomorrow!!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Spot the weirdo...
No it's only Thursday but I will check back in tomorrow.
Hahaha!
Quoted from BenB:It’s good to see an old game like that get some love! I have been watching your mansion project closely and have sure enjoyed it! Hey it’s friday tomorrow!!
Yeah let’s build this crap back to beautiful!
Thanks for following brother
Quoted from Travish:No it's only Thursday but I will check back in tomorrow.

Quoted from pinballrockstar:package from Reed’s arcade?
Damn, guess those Allen keys I sent like 2 months ago are never gonna show.

Quoted from Atari_Daze:Damn, guess those Allen keys I sent like 2 months ago are never gonna show.
Sorry Amigos
Yeah the post fucking stole them dude,we’ve been robbed!
I am gonna order some online, thanks anyway man,you rock!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:So today we celebrate our King’s birthday,on Kingsday everybody sells their crap on the streets.
We really like to go out and buy some stuff.
Scored an awesome original polaroid camera!!
Dude, that's like a national yard sale day? That's freaking awesome.
Quoted from zerbam:who is your special 3rd amigo today?
Yeah my daughter tried to squeeze her face in the shot
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Dude, that's like a national yard sale day? That's freaking awesome.
Yeah? It is crazy dude,so much fun!
These are the people that never sell on ebay and come out with their dusty attic boxes!
It rocks!
Quoted from GhostThruster:Why is there a waffle on their tshirt? Is that a big thing over in your part of the world?
Yup..a “stroopwafel” and i feel very sorry for you guys you have to go through life without them.
Dutch Pinball museum has a lot of very typical Dutch stuff on their logo.
Stuff we are proud of with a wink, you know what i mean.
We don’t wear wooden shoes here on a daily basis but we are kinda famous for that.
