Tell Mic it would fit better without the stand

He’s on it!
cool things happening again guys,
check out this video for ideas - to the right is the ball lift system using a spring with a centre shaft and the ball rides against 2 vertical posts and the spring

Quoted from Thor-NL:Little idea ... test this one first
Yeah we did!
Quoted from Thor-NL:Welding before drinking .... did you guys wise-up?
Yeah we are different now man
It works great in first test!
looks great, how much of the screen will be seen once that playfield goes in?
now just have to add creepy cartoon affects to your faces and you are in the game

About half or 60% Swinks, like a regular dmd,we are debating that actually
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Hahaha,hey...we are not the patients dude!!!
would be cool to be immortalized into the game - patients, doctors or ghosts

what about a partially see through playfield = perspex near the screen, and with a then black shroud to hide the other cabinet parts
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Hahaha,hey...we are not the patients dude!!!
Hey it is a Good Friday! You guys really, really should film and be featured in some cheesy B movie cut scenes for the display. You gotta do it. Thanks for the free entertainment!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:This is actually a tv but it has hdmi which is great in combination with the very high end pc we use.
Rather big tv though..
In keeping with the amigo pinball spirit just saw off a couple inches from the edges.
Edit
Guess I should have went all the way down before posting. That's mostly what you did. Ha ha.

Maybe the slope of the lower PF could vary which would change how much screen is visible. I went back a quite a few pages to refresh my memory on the plan for the lower PF (quoted post 834 to help others find it).
Quoted from pinballrockstar:So this is the rough plan,2 flippers downstairs and 2 pop bumpers.
On the 2 sides,we are gonna make 2 rows of targets, spelling the insert words "crazy" and "mansion".
Lite both words and you can shoot straight down the middle for mental jackpot
Anyway, accomplish something on the main PF to reveal more screen and make the lower PF ready for mental jackpot. Get the ball down there when the slope isn't steep and there aren't many points to be had (so player is just wasting time stuck in the asylum), but when it's steep/difficult the jackpot can be earned. Maybe what's revealed on the screen is icons showing the state of each letter's insert target which is progress toward earning the jackpot.
A mechanism that incorporates a threaded motor shaft running through bolt fixed to the lower PF may be enough to give control of the pitch. The lower PF's exit ball path would need designed deliver to that spring you guys built no matter PF position.

It is a miracle it still works hahaha!
I was so wasted yesterday i can hardly recall mounting the damn thing

Wow! That is an insane idea!
A moving lower playfield
As if thismachine isn’t enuff of a challenge we are actually gonna debate this.
Adjustable slope on lower playfield is an insane and awesome idea. That hasn't been done before i'm sure. The pinball amigos can handle it...
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Thanks Melbourne! (Isn’t that the coolest name ever for a city!)
Thanks for compliment!!! Actually Melbourne was founded by John Batman and was going to be called Batmania at one time, IMO a much cooler name.

Wow, I was totally unaware of that. You learn something every day! I just looked it up, and other names once considered for Melbourne were Bearbrass, Bareport, Bareheep, Barehurp and Bareberp. lol.

Yeah,really cool right?
Plus if we slam the playfield all the way down,we will achieve full screen!
Man what a smart idea..

No i prefer Melbourne

And from the coolest named city in australia,we present to you: the most horrible named city in Australia!
MOOLOOLABA!
Quoted from oldskool1969:Putting you Dick on show
Hahaha

Hm,yeah...actually...some black and white fast frame b movie footage of Dick in a white/bloody lab coat running around in a forest with a chopped off leg (not a real one(...)).
We’ll have a good laugh out of that!
Mic is also real good with face paint on halloween.
You know what?
Fuck it,it just made the list.
The amigos are gonna be b movie stars in the crazy mansion with some very very bad special effects...(let’s call em special defects)so it looks really corny.
Hahaha,i am laughing my ass off already..

Thatr will be awesome! I can think of all kinds of corny scenes, but you really need to find an 'eye candy" nurse to make this a "must watch".
