We have a super expensive green template now lol
I laid it underneath the silver one and simply copy the cuts with a marker.

Now that we found the little plastic skill shot ramp,we are rethinking the skill shot...we came up with a real fun idea..
The basket from space jam is gonna be "the fruit loop skill shot".
We are gonna make a giant fruit loop on the basket ring!
And we know just the item we need for the right structure of a fruit loop

    IMG_1071 (resized).JPGIMG_1071 (resized).JPG

    #1953 6 years ago

We stole nerf gun bullets from my kids heh heh heh
We will paint the basket plate green metallic, just like the side blades and mic will plot some decals "froot loop skill shot"
Let's make a giant froot loop!!! Haha!

    IMG_1078 (resized).JPGIMG_1078 (resized).JPG

    #1954 6 years ago

Mic uses black washer fluid car tubing and he wants to hot glue the froot loop on there...just freehanding..

Mic is sanding like a madman on the basket...it is a high milage basket

    IMG_1084 (resized).JPGIMG_1084 (resized).JPG

    #1959 6 years ago

I pre fitted the blades and need to live test them in the cab to see if i got the angle right under the backbox

I'm cutting out the original ramp bracket from the baywatch sideblade..
Weld it on our sideblade before stepping into the paint boot.

    IMG_1097 (resized).JPGIMG_1097 (resized).JPG

    #1966 6 years ago

We've got the switch back on and a fruit loop installed but we need a bunch of froot loop decals to get the message across...but we will definately finetune this one till it's sort of cartoony funny and spot on obvious froot loop.

Yeah let's end that crap..my father just passed away very recently in september 2017,i will never forget him telling me he was so tired, the word "exhausted" didn't capture it..
He was a blues guitarist and noticed in januari 2017 his left hand was losing coordinates during playing his guitar.
A few days later he was diagnosed super agressive lung cancer with metastases(5 brain tumors).
It has been a real heavy year and look forward to 2018.
Recently Walter Trout survived a liver transplant in the last hour,i followed his entire survival....very emotional and impressive( his wife had a blog about Walter )and so i decided to put the walter trout album on my dads coffin.
These words were so spot on.
Also his stone is in the making and will say:"the blues came calling".
Sometimes a few words can tell so much about someone.
So yeah, long story short...we are very driven to do something to make a change.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, and the other amigo's fathers as well.

Now we know where you get some of your musical talent from. Blues is such a great genre of music, and it takes someone really talented to play it well.

Yeah,my dad teached me my first simple song "mellow yellow" by Donovan when i was 11 years old
Eventually he was like; "bas, pleaaaase go to your room and practise over there,i will rip off my ears if i hear Mellow Yellow one more time hahaha...
I had tickets for Joe Bonamassa a few months ago in the ziggo dome Amsterdam...dudes..i stood like a dork with my mouth open the entire concert, could not believe what was happening in front of me...that is when you know it's done right.
Every blues song was like i got hit with a defibrillator...boom!
Mahalia Barnes was doing background vocals and really moved me,what a voice.....at the end of the evening i wanted to marry her..
Joe Bonamassa played on stage with bb king when he was like 10 years old,he learned from the King man.

In case anybody wonders who i am talking about:(joe/mahalia)

That's frickin awesome!!! I love how you are out of breath just describing it... and I'm not far behind just imagining it.

You truly are a pinball rockstar!!

I know this is the wrong place to post this, but I can't include a picture in PM. Baz, do you still have the tower "handrail" for Baywatch? Mine was missing when I bought it and I figured I could buy yours if you still have it. Plus, if you are shipping shirts, you can just include it with that when I buy one of those. Let me know. Thanks!

We donated that one to the Dutch Pinball museum a while ago in the topic.

Looks like front row! Nice!! Cool you shared your experience.

I met Alice shopping before a concert in early 90s too. Totally nice and approachable. Very non rock star vibe.

Your girl let's you dedicate your Friday's to hanging out with friends, drinking and playing pinball? And she likes Alice Cooper?? Sounds like a keeper for life Does that mean Spooky will be making a delivery to the Netherlands when ac comes out?

    Yeah pretty front row.
He is a relaxed guy and introduced me to "the nurses" who put him in the straight jacket on stage and they were real nice to me too,one "nurse"(in hindsight Alice Coopers daughter, she plays one of the nurses!)said she liked my leather jacket.
She also took the picture with my iphone.
I also shook hands with them and introduced myself.(ssyyyeah, like it matters who i am )
I told Alice Cooper(wow this scentence starts real crazy... )we had tickets to the show and asked him what the playlist was/if he took along the giant walking Frankenstein, which he confirmed.
Told him we don't miss a show if he is remotely close to us and we were in on the new Alice Cooper / Spooky pinball.
He was like:"you got yours already?!" I am really looking forward to that!
I said no and most likely you would have a bit higher priority to receive it than some dude in the Netherlands
My girlfriend is just as big of a fan of the Cooperman, but she was pretty sure she wanted to stay outside lol.
We were both scared shitless but it was a now or never moment,i knew i had to meet him.
    Dig him sooo much man.
Very thankful, any step in another direction while shopping would've led to not meeting him.
I had a hard time connecting our Tesla to a piece of shit public charger for example,if it wasn't for that 10 annoying minutes....we would've missed that window of opportunity?!
Hell,he wasn't even performing in the city we were shopping?!
We like to shop in Breda, netherlands and the show was in Tilburg, netherlands.
    So what are the odds?
    I can tell you!
    Next to nothing man..
And yeah..my girl is a pretty cool keeper...
She had such a great time at the concert.
But in all honesty, who can resist a 69 year old guy with a whip

That's awesome Baz. Funny how timing is everything.

In 87 my dad got transferred to a new city. So on spring break he takes us to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to buy a house. We're staying in a downtown hotel and my older brother and I are wondering around the streets and see a big purple tour bus with Constrictor on the marque in front of a hotel. My bro starts freaking out saying "that's Alice's tour bus! We have to hang out and wait" As a 9 year old I was like who cares, let's go. The hotel has a free pool table. I didn't know he had tickets to go thru my dad's new boss.
Well not 5 or 10 minutes later a couple guys come out and my brother starts talking to them, then basically the whole band is there. Took pics with my bro and signed some stuff. Let us on the bus for a minute or two. Pretty awesome that they took 5 minutes to accommodate a 15 year old long hair and his little bro. Could have easily blown him off. Made a fan out of me I remember cause of that.
