We need some more space to have like comfortable chairs and stuff.
We also want to add an 8 bit Nintendo plus old skool crt setup to the mancave.
I don’t want to sell any of my pins so i store them at my car shop.

Dude,i wonder if the machine was struck by lightning?
The Intel nuc computer died during playfield swap(using the minions nuc now),the Pololu servo controller died(had a spare) plus the speaker system only hums like a maniac(stole my sons 2.1 set upstairs).
Now these servos...it’s just weird?
But it runs again,i am just out $500...that’s all.
You get used to that building a pinball machine...we fry a lot of stuff.
Here! This one doesn’t work straight out of the box...ali express is cheap because they just mix the exáct amount of broke servos that you will deal with.
Like a 17 good and 3 broken servo ratio on a lot of 20 of ‘em.
Really...this is what they do...i am gonna buy them in my own country from now on.

Also I see you are using Notepad to write your scripts - do you know about editors that are language aware and so do some formatting and checking for you - makes writing stuff quicker and easier. The one I play around with is Notepad++ it's multi-tabbed, uses colour and knows about yaml.
Finally like others I hope you guys are planing pin #3 so we all have something to follow along. It's great to see what you get up to.
Great idea! I just threw sumtin together to make it work but i am totally gonna code it like that!
I actually use notepad++ but the nuc computer we use pooped its brains out and i borrowed the minions computer that has no notepad++ yet.

So what's left that requires the Amigos as a group participation? Looks like it's down to just you doing the coding. More Amigo videos? Maybe a Q & A session?
The lower playfield moves up and down on a wiper motor so we can adjust the height but the problem with the reversed placement is...you need an upkicker to get it back to normal playfield level and the distance gets too big...think about it...real complicated..
It is an enormous problem we finally tackled,but if we set the angle steeper,the upper playfield in the back gets out of alignment too.
We have North,south,west ánd east oriented playfields so if you change one angle,you fuck up the other 3.
So yeah...
On the amigos question:
Indeed,we will shoot some better amigo game footage next friday and wrap up this build.
Then we need to start a few brainstorm sessions on what we want to build as a next title.

The Pinball Amigos just finished their second game,from here on we will add updates to this topic when code progresses and new green screen footage of us being patients in the Crazy Mansion is shot.
We are gonna find some new inspiration for a next title,we love you and enjoyed walking this crazy ride together with y’all.
We hope you enjoyed seeing our second build come to life.

The Despicable Me build was sort of a “let’s see if we can pull it off” build and we had no idea if we could do it,we just started?and finished it in 2 years.
But that build gave us the skills to build Crazy Mansion over a course of 3 years.
I guess after a total of 5 years of foolish mistakes and big laughs and just straight up perseverance you can’t help but feel a little melancholy and maybe even a little emotional when you look over your shoulder.
We made so much friends over time and also even attended international shows.
And all of that started 5 years ago with this little mockup:

Next week we are invited at the Dutch Pinball museum for an interview along with other way better pinball builders.
This is our contribution to the trailer for the event next friday!

Yeah the coding sucks and is a tedious process...i recently discovered if you play the game modes in another order,all logic goes out the door.
Some weird bug fucks up the game and i have been searching for weeks now.

We currently are restricted to 2 visitors in your home due to corona so that still works for us.
At this moment we are playing a VR game , sort of an escape room,it is extremely difficult but very interesting.

Amigos...i am super bummed out...this is the first time since like forever Pinball friday is cancelled due to the new curfew in the Netherlands for civilians.
If you are outside after 21:00 the police chases and shoots you (nah ofcourse they don’t shoot you man...jesus...i kid...you only get fined)
sigh...we never miss pinball friday!
I am seriously bummed out.
I know there’s a lot of very terrible stuff going on and people struggling to survive COVID-19 but that just doesn’t make me be less bummed out ?
And now there’s also riots and looting here and there in the Netherlands.
People are getting super angry about this curfew.
I kinda get it,you lose some freedom.
I though don’t get why they protest by breaking store windows and loot.

I actually sold some machines(TOM and NF)to free up some space.
We didn’t play these anymore and i decided to pass them on so somebody else could be super excited about them again.
I still need a pair of 1950’s art deco club chairs/cocktail chairs for the other wall,but these things are always in a wrong color or non matching,i need to find a cool looking alternative so we can also sit on something soft.

I ordered a rubber mat with official distance marker and a Winmau stage 5 dart board with dual core technology(i have no clue how one could technologically improve a dart board,but this is the best one according to the experts)

Same here,this pandemic is so surreal.
Sometimes for a brief moment everything is normal until you need to buy yourself a new pressure washer at the hardware store and need to make an appointment online to shop 10 minutes...pure hell.

Allright amigos,sad day but this roadshow serial number no longer exists from now on,this cab went to the scrapper.
It is the water damaged cab from the alley graveyard.
It was losing its will to live despite the roof over the alley.
But on the upside,Roadshow machines now go up in price a littlebit since they are a tiny líttlebit more rare now this one is gone.
RIP roadshow.

I'm 74 and a co-worker of my wife brought that shit to her work. My wife got it and then me and my son. I'm old, fat, diabetic and UGLY and was supposed to die from this stuff. I want you to know it didn't phase me at all. I just felt a bit tired for a few days. My wife and son licked it easily in four days too. It's a strange animal. Maybe our Kentucky germs had us immune to it.
Tomorrow (for us here in the States) is Friday. I'm going to start checking in weekly now just to be a part of the old gang. I've been with you fellows since Day One of your project, and feel like I'm missing old friends.

Plus altough i am vaccined we can’t start partying on a friday cuz everybody can still transmit covid despite being vaccined.

There’s already a bunch of Crazy Mansion layout incorporated in Rick and Morty.
For example our right UFO lane.
It is one on one in Rick and Morty.
There’s a battery charging meter or sumtin which is very similar to our paranormal activity meters and so forth.
Look,we have flipper blinders ripped off from Tommy and the heads from roadshow…that’s how it works…you get inspired by stuff.
But if theres somebody who can use all our stuff,it is Spooky pinball.
We think highly of these guys.
Despite covid they delivered.
Respect and looking forward to their new title,Alice Cooper was not for me,altough the quality,layout and coding is superb (but keep in mind i have bad taste in general so ignore my opinion in all circumstances)

Ah thanks so much my friend,indeed,Elise and I always joke around in English,she has a great feel for it!
We Dutch really fuck up the scentence structure.
I always cringe when i hear flat dialect Dutch speak English.
It gets the message across but to me it is nails on a chalkboard.
I actually have a hard time shaking off my Dutch accent,very aware of that.
But Elise also does a killer English accent,it is absolutely hilarious hahaha.
My father was a blues guitar player,he taught me some chords and tricks on the fly and i like to play solo guitar with backing tracks or just some music.
Mainly ZZtop ,Hendrix and ACDC … that kinda stuff.
But i am no genius,i am just very curious in life and try stuff…never stop exploring!

I saw this in the news a couple of days ago…a Swiss restaurant owner received a concrete barrier from the government cuz he refused to refuse the unvaccinated.

I did that before but it is way too short still.
It has to be a little lower , the lower playfield can’t pass a ball through without a ball hang.
Maybe you could look at that upper playfield guide with the broken servo?
The guide opens up and let’s the ufo pass with a ball,and closes again.
But it looks like shit and its servo hardly ever works.
