Quoted from pinballrockstar:bleeding all over the pin
Quoted from pinballwil:Like the backboard design with the wireramp.
Looks great.
Thanks wil,
Trying to think outside the box
Amigos,
White PCBs ordered from SeeedStudio for around $18USD for the Toxic Swamp.
It'll be shipping via the slow boat from china (I assume); which is quoted 15-30days on top of a 5-9day production time. So I wouldn't expect them for at least a month.

No problem, the pin won't be ready within that time frame!hahaha
Do you need my adress?
Do i need to paypal you some money?
Let me know John,excellent!
Do you need any other boards for your custom build? We produced some boards (most also at seeed - they rock) which work with FAST or P-Roc. Usually you get a lot of those (at least 10 but often much more because of panelization). What I can offer you:
- Opto sender board. Current limiting resistor + connector for up to 8 optos. Work with any voltage (just use the correct resistors).
- Opto receiver board. Connector to a FAST/P3-Roc input bank and carries 8 connectors for opto receivers. Can also be used for switches if you want separate connectors.
- Playfield connector board. Sits below the playfield. Distributes 5V for all WS2811/WS2812 (up to 14A) and can carry a Fadecandy for WS2812 (you might alternatively use the FAST LED controller). Distributes HV (48V or 80V) to the nodes. 2x2 RJ45 passthrough connectors for any data bus (either the FAST bus or the P3-Roc bus). Plus LEDs for voltage detection.
Let me know and I will give them somebody to bring them to DPO and hand them over to you.

I got the Amigos covered for now... When the boards are tested and ready; then I'll ask for just the costs to cover materials + shipping. My time/labor is free to you guys for doing something awesome. IIRC, the LEDs are probably the second most expensive item in the BOM... I think they are around 1.50 each.

Yeah absolutely but we are in doodling phase so sadly no clue at the moment what we need?

Awesome news John,you rock dude!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:First thing tonight is filling the skull bottle
What's on the menu tonight? I'll be triple barreling later when following

Just a cheap brand whiskey,i like this one so much!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:I searched for the safety goggles tonight
I myself wear safety contacts
Quoted from Atari_Daze:I myself wear safety contacts
That would be great for me,i'll never take them out...
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Fuck! Hole is on the wrong side, you easily make that mistake when a playfield is up(right? ).
It is no issue, the false whole gets covered by a coil assy
I would still pop a dowel rod into the hole to cover the mistake.. Wait I mean find a wooden closet rod and cut a piece off that. If it doesn't fit, just drill the hole bigger
nice work guys, love the progress and danger....
will the side rail clear the hole or will need to customise the side rail?
also I must say I admire your approach but admit I am a little more anal (mechanical engineer - pin-gineer in me though you uses are definite "Pin-gineers with your creative approach to game design) so took the plunge and committed to a CNC this morning - perfect playfield size
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Dick is done with our pristine project being so dusty,he insists cleaning it first...who made all that crap?
Nows your chance to drop the playfield on his head. You know it's going to happen so might as well get it out of the way before all the stuff is on the bottom.

Whiskey break done got you. Ha ha.
