If you boot up the machine, the lcd's come on like a minute later, chinese letters appear in the small lcd...
But you can push start and play a game while the displays are still off.
That kind of stuff...

Love all this pinball development! It is looking like the switch / driver / led counts are probably getting closer to something we can count up. We talked about starting with one of the new FAST Starter Bundles and I posted them online in our store last night.
https://squareup.com/store/fast-pinball-llc/item/fast-starter-bundle-power
This would get you started and then we can add in additional FAST I/O boards that would get you the number of switches and drivers you will need for the complete game. The FAST Starter Bundle + Power includes control of 256 RGB LEDs and 50 of the RGB LEDs themselves, 40 direct input switches and 12 drivers. You can mix and match any voltages you want across those 8 drivers. You are not restricted to the entire board being at the same voltage.
Counting up from there in FAST I/O boards would be in these increments:
FAST I/O 3208 : 32 Direct Input Switches and 8 Drivers
FAST I/O 1616 : 16 Direct Input Switches and 16 Drivers
FAST I/O 0804 : 8 Direct Input Switches and 4 Drivers
I have more options to add to the store, including modifiers for including all the connectors and pins necessary.
Have a kick ass pinball friday!
Aaron
FAST Pinball
looking forward to seeing your weekly build adventure but I cringe every time you get that angle grinder out.

It did a great job man,no sweat
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Mic sends a whatsapp,he is driving 110 mph
He'll be here soon!
Looks like he's sitting in the righthand seat. Does he have an English car?

Selfie mode!
So will there be something hiding the UFO, like an object, or will it just be tucked back there?
Awesome work guys.
Quoted from Ben1981:Productive as always
Cheers!
Thanks dude!
Quoted from CobraClutch:So will there be something hiding the UFO, like an object, or will it just be tucked back there?
Awesome work guys.
Still debating that actually...if we make it darkish back there, you won't really notice it till the ufo's leds pop on and it starts smoking.
We maybe make the playfield black out before that happens too.
The mansion disappears before the ufo starts moving, that is the part i like a lot about this crazy plan.
Another Aussie on board here with a crazy Dutch surname , loving the build , no guard no the only way to grind , keep up the good work
Quoted from Fooped:You guys may just be the coolest dudes on the planet.
Allright, now that is a huge compliment
Thanks so much man, glad you enjoy our crazy topic

A lot of serious pinheads in australia right?!
Supercool you enjoy our build!
Thanks mate!
Great build - supercool. Look forwards to seeing your progress every Friday.
Not cool to using WhatsApp when driving - would hate for you to not make it to the build - take care.

Yeah...safety should become our nr.1 priority, you are right.
I get more orders from Australian pinheads than Europe... More hardcore star trek fans in aus, i think.
Have and update on the toxic swap i was going to post yesterday... But stle colordots... And throwing a belt in the truck last night ruined those plans
This is shaping up to be a bigger task than Minions. But I have confidence you are all up for the challenge.
Looking great Bas Mic And Dick
Amigos,
Here's is the nearly complete PCB design for Toxic Swamp.
Toxic Swamp
The larger board in the middle is the main board you'd connect to 6.3VAC GI.
The other boards are made to snap off the main board and position where you'd like.
The lower 4 boards (Jx1,2) are interchangeable. LED 4,5 are UV Purple LEDs to light your GITD Titan Rubbers.
LED 2,3,6,7,8,9 are all superbright green LEDs running at 150mA. LED1 on the main board is the candle flicker.
LED 1,2,3 are required to be used for the other boards to be functional. You can you use as many of the other boards as you want to get the intended effect.
Always wire a J connector to a P connector. Meaning:
JP2 always connect to PP2. JN2 always connects to PN2 ect.
There will be no connectors on the board as I'm assuming you are going to want to direct wire once you figure out how to install. If you want connectors; just let me know.
R18 and R19 control the brightness of the "candle flicker" effect on the super green LEDs.
R16 and R17 control the brightness of the flash effect on LED8 & 9.
The main board measures approximately:
1.1 x 2.4inches
The LED boards measure approx:
0.85 x 0.49 inches
Each board has two mounting holes.

This is great John,no connectors indeed...connectors suck cause they use up precious real estate
It is brilliant like so,the toxic swamp is gonna be awesome!
PM us what we owe u by the way.
Looks like a lot of effort!

Drank too much beer on a weekday and watched old Married with Children episodes last night. (yeah that translated in having kind of a tough day today )
Almost pissed myself when Al opens this great videogame vs pinball monologue.
Taped it and uploaded cause i wanted to share it with you guys.
Cheers!
Oh and when you are at it,check this epic SNL sketch.
