Quoted from Puffdanny:If I ever make it back to the Netherlands I'm crashing the party(right after the coffee shop)
Yeah,we have great shops
Excellent...finally man...yes...
Last week i wanted to put the mansion on springs like the ringmaster in CV,but the ringmaster weighs next to nothing and is small.
This is a giant mansion and weighs a ton...
So this week i decided to go with a rigid connection between parts
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Have a great weekend everybody!
I'm arriving late tonight, but it looks like great progress. I'm envious of your welding, it's something I've never really learned how to do proper.
Hope you 3 have a great weekend too!

Quoted from swinks:back from a week holiday, first stop - check out the Crazy Mansion update, great progress.
Thanks guys!
Sometimes it's frustrating to see what you guys accomplish in one evening, especially while working on my machines and just diagnose an error in the same amount of time you need to build a mech from scratch and strip a playfield simultaneously
So awesome to follow your evenings, really appreciate your work!
Cheers
Do you want to have a flicker board for under the mansion? Or is that already one or two of the four you were going to use?

We gave it some thought and we are going to use mainly flashers under the mansion and 1 matrix light.
That way,we can have crazy flashing when the mansion appears (with thunder sfx and smoke machine)and a solid matrix light turns on when the mansion is up.
That playfield is going to weight a ton !!!.
Watch out it won't break.
Put on 2 u steel rail on the playfield instead of wood.
The same on bsd in think it is.

Yeah we have those from baywatch, heavy duty steel L-profiles.
It needs to be reinforced for sure, the under playfield cut out is soooo big that the playfield will bend for sure.
But we have plans lined up!!
It is gonna be very awesome.
We are convinced this is playfield nr. 1 of 12 to come hahaha.
Building something from scratch is all about trial and error...you know that,Pinballwil...
We will definitely make mistakes and ruin stuff but that is fun too man...we are the Pinball Amigos...when we mess up,we laugh and start over again.
But i have to tell you,so far,all is going pretty well!
I am extremely happy with our dmd location.
That is gonna be well integrated in the game.
A few of you guys asked us about the relays we are using in the Crazy Mansion and how and where they can be used.
So a little sunday update,a short tutorial with a real life example how you can put a relay to good use in your homebrew pinball.
