    very cool work there guys

with the fireplace, my theory was as the playfield leans 6.5 degrees the grill should lean forward (but I probably underestimated - sorry if I did) and then when hit swings back against a switch. When not hit, the grill mounting points should rest against the unseen plastic verticals, alternative you could install a switch inside the fireplace for the grill to push on - hope it works

    #10663 4 years ago

awesome work once again guys especially the insert routing and apologies about a couple minor fitting and design issues as never print tested just design straight to iMaterialise

have a good and safe week

    #10664 4 years ago

as for things breaking, Good Fridays have never been good for me - with the worst about 8 years ago and the timing belt suddenly snapped and split second later the engine died, result conrods went through the engine and ended up with one stuffed subaru boxer motor - cost $5k AUD for a new motor.

The good luck was I got a $4.5k bonus from work the day before Good Friday.

hey guys, just woke up and joined the group, awesome work once again, the side rails look cool, love the picture frame idea and great work on the router

    #10716 4 years ago

sideblades look awesome with then some stick on pictures will look sweet

    #10721 4 years ago

make sure to add a picture of a dutch windmill and classic dutch scenery pictures as well

    #10735 4 years ago

the guys do have large metal side rails - post #10713 but agree a small 25x25mm aluminum angle about 200-300mm long would strengthen the area up a bit more but avoid any screws along the weakness line as this will weaken the playfield

    #10738 4 years ago
    Quoted from OLDPINGUY:

Tomorrow, I celebrate with the 3 Amigos.
at 4:20, of 4/20. 2020.......I will celebrate and say thanks for all the joy the 3 Amigos have
    brought us!

totally agree, the Dutch crew have brought us alot of creativity, originality and brought us into their world - always a great thread to join each week.

    #10745 4 years ago
    Quoted from WJxxxx:

I'm curious as to why you papered the sideblades, and not just papered the inside of the cabinet?

the side blades are tall and hide the cabinet sides

    #10777 4 years ago

hey guys, good to see you again

nice work on the backboard and thanks for the support on the shirts Beard and guys

    - bit of history I registered the business Swinks in 2000 and use to make surf furniture and loved woodie wagons so outlined an american woody and then shaped my nickname (business name) into the woodie in the wheel shapes and the surfboard. The orange logo was selected a few years ago as I am proud of my Dutch background with a bit of Dutch Orange

    have a great night

    #10782 4 years ago
    Quoted from pinballrockstar:

Beard fashion of the week Trivia!
    What is this?
    [quoted image]

nice shirt - I like the lime green

as for the trivia - I had to cheat and search and came up with Transformers 2 ?

    screen-capture-26 (resized).pngscreen-capture-26 (resized).png
    #10861 3 years ago

haha - now that is cooler than the 2nd gen and makes total sense with the lime green

hey guys, the game is looking great - doing really well

I still have a gameboy stashed away, and actually bought it in Holland 25 years ago when backpacking around Europe

    #11066 3 years ago

yes I remember the Commodore 64 days at school, my dad cheapened out and got a Texas Instruments so he could self learn as he was going to teach it at school,, the funny thing was the kids taught him but that then made him a cool high school teacher...

    #11070 3 years ago

hey guys I do these plunger plates and yesterday did a set for FunHouse and since your game has the talking heads I could do a custom one for your game.

It could maybe be Lord Grim plunger plate, maybe his face could be grey or white and whites of eyes grey and the background could be brown ??? let me know if you want to use this design but customised.

    screen-capture-17 (resized).pngscreen-capture-17 (resized).png

    #11073 3 years ago

do you have a regular Bally / Williams housing and happy to create a plunger plate for you guys just to add a bit more creepy. I will mock up something over the weekend and send via pm for your approval.

hey guys, already getting cool stuff done, have a top night

    #11307 3 years ago

awesome work tonight guys and now am relieved that the fireplace is working - always get a little worried until I know things like this is functional - you made it even better with the spring - now just needs a cool fire glow when hit or game talking to you.

I was super nervous when I did this Get Smart Cone of Silence housing earlier this year that will eventually be clear plastic whic has solenoids in the top, the challenge was linear actuating the lift with the 90degree turn to lift the balls (max and chief) between the wireforms and then releasing onto the wireforms.

    #11508 3 years ago
    Quoted from Lhyrgoif:

But.....I like boobs! Doesn't matter where it is, it's still a great boob

yes I do too, but I suppose for the guys game imagine a saggy granny boob - there's a image you don't want to see lol...

So yoú háve to vote Crazy lol

cheers man, forgot that part - I voted because it was homw I started every Saturday morning by catching up to your build live while it was night for you.

also for the mod section I had to vote "move your snackbar" mod as the lighting kit goes into my snackbar kit, sadly I missed pout every year for the snackbar mod

What ? After all this work!!
Yeah...we saw it too Dee-bow but it is super cheesy to ask for it

no, not super cheesy rather some acknowledgement of a cool project and pinball so others can discover in the future.

    1 month later
    #11981 3 years ago

totally agree, twippy's are very select and homebrew should be a totally finished game, like last year jack dangers game wasn't even finished and fully playable no art yet won.

then Stern won the best mod ???? haha - it was just a later released withheld feature

Most everyone else has said what I intended to say, so I'll just add . . . I super enjoyed this adventure. Not doing too well here. Am 75 now and suddenly have a heart condition. Will go to the hospital Monday for them to "invade my heart" and see what they can do to my arteries. I will get through it by looking forward to coming back to your site and reading further adventures. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. All the best.

I'm sitting in the hospital room after2 days waiting for discharge papers! Will be home in an hour. I am SO glad for the outcome and to have this over with!!!
