    Yes! Look what arrived today!
Bought this for my girl, she has a Frankenstein in her workout area and she loves it till death, but it was time..
She loves Aerosmith and this artwork is spot on exactly her taste winner!
So i kept it a secret for a while and surprised her with it.
I let the guy unload it in the back garden...i figured it would fit any door but the box is too big or the door too small

My girl doesn't want to be on pinside but she is ecstatic in this shot, slightly to the right

She is always painfully honest so i was really hoping she digged the game...
I had no idea myself what it would play like but it is just 100% fun,she finds it to be a real clean, challenging playfield.
The music is more balanced than ac/dc...i did not like ac/dc a bit,the sfx were way louder than the music and stuff.
But this one is just right.
Real happy JJP made Stern step up to the plate.
Without JJP it would still be orange dmd in a Stern.
The GOTle i recently sold had the worst animation i have ever seen in a pinball machine..just plain gross.
But the new Starwars and this Aerosmith are shockingly awesome.
Bravo Stern, never liked your pins, had a lot of them and found them disappointing and dumb.
They always felt like a kids toy.
Ghostbusters was a gamechanger for me.
With these last titles you won my respect ánd me as a customer.
To be on the safe side i also ordered Houdini and Dialed in but i am really, really blown away by these 2 new Stern pins.
They make my life more awesome!

Yeah she played it all night, she chooses walk this way every time
She always wears Adidas you know..
She was bummed out you are not able to choose that song when you progress in the game.

Time to fix the left flipper on the dmpm .
I blew the tip36c trying to tap into the 50v circuit to test the Crazy Mansion ramp flap.

    Boom!
    Back online,cost: 1 buck
Lesson learned; never use a good working device to test untested stuff

    I repeat.

    #1316 6 years ago

    Yeah,i was stupid..
I just got my new lab power supply in.
The other one i bought went as high as 1 amp...this one 20 amps!
Voltage is lower on this one but the coils work perfect on this power supply.
So from now on, testing everything with this lab power supply.

    But this is wrong

    image (resized).jpgimage (resized).jpg

    #1330 6 years ago

Okay,it has the upgrade lcd in the backbox and it looks real good?!

    IMG_9194 (resized).JPGIMG_9194 (resized).JPG

    #1331 6 years ago

It is a fast, nice and loud machine, great fun!
Only thing is, it has a high pitch tone in the right speaker, real annoying.
    Gotta look into that?
Any of you guys heard about something like that?

    IMG_9198 (resized).JPGIMG_9198 (resized).JPG

    #1332 6 years ago

Oh...the bike fell off, it is zip ties?

    IMG_9196 (resized).JPGIMG_9196 (resized).JPG

    #1333 6 years ago

Another thing i don't understand, where are all the rollover switches?
    None?
Real clean but don't we need those?
The playfield glass weighs a ton by the way!
Had to zip tie the bike back on...is that really how it came out the factory?
First impression: a lot of weird things but it plays real good,i like the music a lot!
    Heavy guitar solos,real cool.
    Lightning fast machine,good layout.
Real happy with the new addition to the collection.

The game uses inductive switches mounted on small PCBs under the playfield to sense a ball passing overhead.

    Ohw,god i am low tech...
That is real smart and clean.
It is so different from anything else i owned?
But different in a good way.
Hope the alien kits are cheap, not a fan of alien but cool you can swap your game.

    #1336 6 years ago

Here! Deal extreme sells them. Should hold you over for a little bit!

It's a fast game for sure. First time I played, I nailed the speed lap lane super clean and it shot back straight down the outlane, past the flipper, into the drain. I was like WTF just happened?

    #1338 6 years ago

Congrats on picking up another game!

Is it Friday yet? I'm about done with this week and it's only Wednesday.

I don't know what kind of plug they fitted to your FT but it is definitely not a UK one! Also, it looks very badly fitted as the wires are pulling out of the plug - where's the strain relief?
    Looking forwards to tomorrow already.

    #1343 6 years ago

    where is gb and got?

    #1344 6 years ago

Not too often you see a OP hi-jack his own thread!!!
