Hey amigo! Check out the fireplace(unpolished code...gonna polish it,but it gives you an idea!)
Quoted from Gregc:That is great Amigos,

Well it would be a shitload of fun!
Here’s my attempt:
Quoted from swinks:here you go beard, daughter is 10 and did this last night - I was pretty impressed
called "Koiy the Fish"[quoted image]
Very nice thumb up for art
Great to see this flipping. A few tweaks and it will be awesome. Great stuff Amigos.
Love watching Dic laughing at you flipper skills Bas!!! So go on shoot the bloody saucer shot will you

Yeah it is not dialed in in any way but we just wanted to play it anyway
Now it’s time to freeplay!!
YAY CONGRATS AMIGOS! So happy to see this flipped today thank you! Literally planned my Friday off to watch this thread. OK, not entirely but partially.
Now raise the pitch to (at least) 7.2 and make her fast!
So cool - thanks. Just a thought but I reckon the fireplace would look better if it were just gently glowing and then burst to life when you hit it?
Also I see you are using Notepad to write your scripts - do you know about editors that are language aware and so do some formatting and checking for you - makes writing stuff quicker and easier. The one I play around with is Notepad++ it's multi-tabbed, uses colour and knows about yaml.
Finally like others I hope you guys are planing pin #3 so we all have something to follow along. It's great to see what you get up to.
awesome work guys, looks like alot of fun with huge potential - awesome package with the talking heads, best backbox designs and like the fireplace lighting and awesome glossy playfield
have a great weekend

Yeah, problem being, the lower playfield is reverse so then that would be level

Great idea! I just threw sumtin together to make it work but i am totally gonna code it like that!
I actually use notepad++ but the nuc computer we use pooped its brains out and i borrowed the minions computer that has no notepad++ yet.

Hey thanks buddy,we are over the moon with the fireplace...it is such a cool feature!!
Quoted from smoothbore19:This thread makes Friday's great again.
Thanks for saying that bro,supercool
Quoted from transprtr4u:Great job, nice to see it flipping!
Beat DeepRoot.
Amigos 2 - DeepRoot 0
Yeah, what is up with deeproot? I want magic girl !!
Looks awesome! I got two suggestions:
1. Consider adding a common "sync_ms" to your flashing indicators. That way they will all flash in sync which makes the game look even more professional.
2. For the fireplace you can use "red%70" to dim lights temporarily.

Not sure how you have the lower pf anchored in? But adding spacers to the lower side of it would allow you to raise the pitch of the game I would guess? Anyway I love the progress dude!
So what's left that requires the Amigos as a group participation? Looks like it's down to just you doing the coding. More Amigo videos? Maybe a Q & A session?

Hey thanks amigo!
Gonna dive into that,it really disturbs a lot of people lol

The lower playfield moves up and down on a wiper motor so we can adjust the height but the problem with the reversed placement is...you need an upkicker to get it back to normal playfield level and the distance gets too big...think about it...real complicated..
It is an enormous problem we finally tackled, but if we set the angle steeper, the upper playfield in the back gets out of alignment too.
We have North, south, west ánd east oriented playfields so if you change one angle, you fuck up the other 3.
So yeah...
On the amigos question:
Indeed,we will shoot some better amigo game footage next friday and wrap up this build.
Then we need to start a few brainstorm sessions on what we want to build as a next title.
We are marinating on that
Out last two Fridays, on holiday, man I missed a lot! Great work but what's this talk about "Dick happy game is almost finished"?? Blasphemy I say!
I have a 1980’s Haunted House, great game, but a lot of dead space in the middle due to the giant window to see the basement. Your game looks like the same play issue. Would be cool if you could have a ramp or a pop bumper that moves out of the way should you go to the basement. Take it to another pinball level by doing that
Quoted from Lhyrgoif:[quoted image]
So fun seeing you play it, even though it needs some tuning. It will be a great game when code and adjustments are done.
Yeah this “shooting the first balls” footage, you know us,raw first footage.
Every coil is on default power,it’s a mess.
Next friday we are gonna play it again and i guess tweak stuff while we playtest the machine.
Quoted from meSz:Out last two Fridays, on holiday, man I missed a lot! Great work but what's this talk about "Dick happy game is almost finished"?? Blasphemy I say!
This game took long to build man lol
Are you referring to the terrible video quality? Next friday we will use beard’s new phone.
My iphone 7 is a bit worn.

Yup downside indeed, but this game is what it is now,i rather build a new theme pinball machine then keep tooling on something that works.
Great idea though!
