Quoted from swinks:very cool work there guys
with the fireplace, my theory was as the playfield leans 6.5 degrees the grill should lean forward (but I probably underestimated - sorry if I did) and then when hit swings back against a switch. When not hit, the grill mounting points should rest against the unseen plastic verticals, alternative you could install a switch inside the fireplace for the grill to push on - hope it works
No the grille doesn’t stay in the front by gravity, but indeed the switch will hold it in place...we also have a sheet of spring flap left over so we can mcGyver sumtin,no sweat...we’ve got it covered amigo
Quoted from RobDutch:Keep up the good work amigo's!
Greetings from Limburg
Hey thanks amigo, greetings from south-holland back
And me? I am happy as a child with the progress and the succes on the insert routing, they are all sooo nice and flush, all sitting nicely on their edges..
Not saying this is easy,i am beat but it is doable...i like the machine...first time i work with it and i think it is a cool machine...it’s not gonna last long cuz 2 inserts back in time a bearing sound started to form, louder than the router itself...i gotta hurry before it dies on me too...
Everything breaks down tonight? My good as new angle grinder has a bad contact on a carbon brush, you can hear the rpm go down and up and hear the sparks pop in the housing.
awesome work once again guys especially the insert routing and apologies about a couple minor fitting and design issues as never print tested just design straight to iMaterialise
have a good and safe week
as for things breaking, Good Fridays have never been good for me - with the worst about 8 years ago and the timing belt suddenly snapped and split second later the engine died, result conrods went through the engine and ended up with one stuffed subaru boxer motor - cost $5k AUD for a new motor.
The good luck was I got a $4.5k bonus from work the day before Good Friday.
Is the fireplace gonna lower and be functional? If so - why not use an opto with a lil servo motor to lower it after the opto registers the amount you want? Ditch the switch!
Quoted from cogito:Great work as always, guys. Thanks for the update!
And thank you for passing by friend

You spend a lot of money and not to forget time...we are very grateful for your input,we can put in a little effort?
You did the part we cannot do?

Timing belt failure always ends up in disaster, the european 8 valve 4 cilinder engines from Peugeot actually survive cuz of the clearance between pistons and valves, but go figure...their timing belts never , ever snap
Quoted from rosh:An impressive night of work. Well Done!
Thank you Josh, very cool you passed by amigo
Quoted from PinPeet:Puik werk weer!! Thx
Thanks Dutch friend!!

Hey amigo,
It’s a bash toy and Swinks designed it as such,we are gonna summon the rising playfield mansion with it.
The mansion already rises from the playfield which is nothing short of a miracle...we are the pinball amigos,we have limited skills
Important headliner for you amigos out there!
5 years ago Dennis van der Pas,(just about the timeline where the Pinball Amigos started) began creating a Kill Bill pinball machine.
He used a WCS as platform just like us,which surprised us 5 years ago cuz so did we?what are the odds?
Anyway, after years we met Dennis at Dutch Pinball Open and he struck me as a real cool, humble and intelligent guy.
As pinball builders we had a lot to chat about, plus there was some common World Cup Soccer grounds.
In the back of our minds we always wondered how Dennis’s Q.T. pinball was coming along...
Well today amigos,we got an answer to that..enjoy!
hahaha i love it! Amazing skills to add the upper flipper.. looks like it was meant to be there! Also... Mickey mouse knows what time it is! Damn i sure would like to visit the Dutch pinball museum one day and play that once it's in English! The playfield, dmd animations, & movie clip integration turned out amazing.
Fridayyyyyyy!
Give us beard!
Give us alley meetings!
Give us all that crazy Amigo stuff!
Im hyped and ready....

That’s the one and only genuine, original beard!
image (resized).jpgSad part: i bought this router 6-2018 and only started using it a couple of weeks ago for the playfield?
First the bearing started to get noisy and after this vid it died on me?

Probably Bad or defective brushes. Pretty easy fix. You can easily search it up.
But i had 2 years warranty , no questions asked.
This one after 5 hours in...has the loud bearing already but it’ll hold till the playfield is finished.
The green Hitachi angle grinder broke too but they wanted to repair it so now if want to grind a weld,we have a problem.
But hopefully it’ll be back soon too!

Yeah i fixed my vacuum cleaner once and i know it is fixable but they need to know they sell crap so i show them this way!

Don’t blame ya. I’d take a replacement if possible as well. I forgot that it was new router you had
