    Quoted from MarkInc:

You could shoot flames out the sides on purpose to set the neigbouring machines on fire! Very evil haunted mansion.

Oh...i like that idea a lot...

    Quoted from tryton1000:

Thinking about smoke under the glass, you may need to put an exhaust fan in to blow it out, or you my never see the ball..

    You missed a few posts

    Quoted from swillie:

This post freaked me right out !!! Just the day before last Thursday I was at my in laws looking in a drawer for a screwdriver to remove a broken door handle...and there was the very same nose pencil sharpener!! I picked it up and thought "how cool, never seen one of these before". So when I saw you guys using one the next day I yelled out "holy $#!t"

Hahahaha!! That is crazy man, what are the odds

    Quoted from meSz:

Can you guys start early today as John Trudeau post is getting stale!

Yeah,it sucks,it feels weird now when i play ghostbusters.
Can't specify what i feel but it is just less cool now.
The pin can't help it,but still??

    Quoted from Frax:

Might be the best part of my day today reading this. I got my Farfalla fixed last night, I'm in the right frame of mind to be inspired to keep working on things.

Great to hear Frax, cool you attended tonight!

Idea: On random shots, have the heads start a creepy mumbling like when a crazy person talks to themselves. Nothing you can make out, but just some mumbling and maybe an evil laugh once in a while. Increase the volume if you are getting close to completing the mode, but a bunch of mumbling voices while you are trying to play pinball would drive you........CRAZY........

It is great you guys are feeling it,you totally get it.
Loved Swinks's great idea from last week also.
    Great stuff

The sign is real cool, there is a lot to it if you look closely..
We are famous for cows, cheese and tulips..
    A giant pinball and flippers...
And last but not least it is at the docks of the worlds biggest harbour.
    Great sign altogether!

As you enter, you bump into Gerard van der Sanden right away...
We were a bit ashamed when he nodded his head and said:" dudes, finally after 2 years?"

    IMG_8441 (resized).JPGIMG_8441 (resized).JPG

    #962 6 years ago

You bump into Gerard's beautiful creation right away...the Matrix!
A PROC creation, lightyears ahead of our stuff..it is a Johnny Mnemonic at heart..
    The custom animations are sick!
The score digits bounce around and twist...it is just done right you know..
I once sold him a Johnny Mnemonic, cause he was building a few matrix's.
Forgot to ask but this one might have been mine?

Slugfest was a popular choice when I was a kid tooling around bowling alleys and putt-putt golf places. The fact that it would dispense baseball cards if you did well enough was awesome.

    #979 6 years ago

This was also a reason for a visit,we wanted to play dialed in...i ordered the LE without playing it.
It is real jam packed and fun!
Already hate that figure on the drac track though

500k isn't too bad for first time playing... our league players frequently didn't clear 100k the first two weeks lol...

QED isn't so bad, just wait until you get the multiball where you have to shoot the left ramp AND time it so that whats-her-face has her arm up instead of down. That's just not even worth trying to do lol.

    #984 6 years ago

    Fun fact!
Three of my old pins made it into the museum!
You remember EATPM,indianapolis 500 and revenge from mars passing by in the minion topic!?
    All in a museum now!
    How cool

    Oh okay? So reasonable?
No clue what scoring does on this machine...
It seemed to score low though...like woz i owned..

    #986 6 years ago

You can also buy pinball juice in the museum, very very funny!

Gerard was so nice,he even equipped us with the original Dutch Pinball Museum shirts and the juice was on the house too.
Everybody else needs to pay though, else he goes broke!
We have been talking about a homebrew pinball meeting in the museum with Gerard,he really digs Despicable Me Pinball Madness.
We are totally going if he invites us,great honour...he is a well respected, charismatic man in the pinball community.
He could just order us to come you know..

    Put it this way...

Sim Card collect once you finish a mode and shoot the SIM scoop is 100k points. Each Big Bang you hit is huge points too...starts at 50 or 60k and goes up 10k each time...so.....60...70..80..90...100k. Sim cards also multiply your mode points by +1x for every one you collect.

Just over 2 million is my high score so far. I haven't even sniffed at any of the wizard modes...most modes I've completed in one game is 4. : | "DIAL" still needed the OTHER FOUR for the big wizard mode!

Nothing going to get done on Crazy Mansion now!!!!

    19 seconds too slow!!!

    #995 6 years ago

    Oh!
A side thing...i bought 4 e-cigarettes( the girl behind the counter thought i was a very unusual person she repeated my order twice...who smokes 4 electronic rechargable cigarettes?? )
I don't know if i mentioned it,but our friend Art(oldpinguy)came up with the e cigarette smoke machine...let me rephrase that...he handed us the idea.
And man do these things smoke!
    Wait..i'll make a vid...just a sec...(mumbling...)

In theory you could just start them all and time them out to get to the mini-wizard, I think. But where's the fun in that? It's *very* hard to complete more than a few modes. EMP mode and a few others go crazy with the magnets, and they're not 'nice' like Stern magnets, they're mean like Bally/Williams/Data East magnets. Think Last Action Hero or Addams Family.
