Another job i did alone this week was the mansion lift...
Sadly it turned out my new setup works worse than the old one, this design is off the table now...
It is simply not the way to do this,it is what it is amigos?!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Tadaaa! Have your picture taken in the Twilight zone backglass!![quoted image]
this will be very cool
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Special broadcast from amigo headquarters...how NOT to do stuff!
this made me laugh when you couldn't see things properly - I reckon you should have a game comp later tonight for a laugh
also a mech engineering tip for next time.
- if you put 2 bolts in each block through the bar it would of reduced the crabbing effect, then lift from the centre of the bar it would of lifted alot better but the lift platform will be alot better as well

I was about too drill second bolt holes but the crabbing effect is obviously way too big?
So it quickly became appearant that this lift was shit too

The vertical posts are parallel and the bearing is very low friction, so the idea is to have the pin into the bearing block not locked to the horizontal bar for rotation, that way it will self align when you lift from the centre of the horizontal bar.
So i went to the supermarket with my daughter,we were confused by the empty crisps shelves opposed to the full juice / vitamines shelves

Lol it is a strange time, certain items the stores are just wiped out of but there is plenty of food overall. Never have I had to wait in a line for the grocery store to open in order to get the things we need. Stay healthy!

Pretty cool. Also, CONGRATS on getting the Monte Carlo into the paint booth - you've put in a lot of work to get it this far. I think the blue is a good choice.

Thanks brother, that was a big relief to see it roll onto the trailer...i am familiar with the pain and frustration of car builds...did a 1970 mustang,Chevy Monza V8 and a bunch of european less known classic cars.
They all ended up being sold because money was always thin back then.
This Monte Carlo will be my ride and i am gonna drive it till the wheels fall off.
I hope to cruise it this summer!
This is a picture i found on the interweb,i want the monte to look like this(except this is a 1978 front)
