Thought you would be preparing shipment for DPO? I am gonna see you tomorrow (Saturday) is it not?
Quoted from Rensh:Thought you would be preparing shipment for DPO? I am gonna see you tomorrow (Saturday) is it not?
No,we’ll be there on a sunday to play some pinball,we did not get an invitation somehow.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Aaah bummer...ball hang[quoted image]
Never a good thing
We took the subway out again,it is quite shallow and the balls hit the bolt head of the playfield mansion mech bracket...we fixed it cause:
We never give up!!
Great progress guys! I like the way you implement the qualify mode.

We did not get one either. Maybe next year with machines again?

Very strange you did not get an invite, such a hit, ahh well guess the loss is on DPO

Strange right?
It was great fun last time and i like to believe we entertained a lot of people??
Our voices were gone for days afterwards.
You guys with the Good vs Evil machine and us with our homebrews made a lot of people smile that weekend.
I mean, the homebrew section in general really adds a lot to the show right?
It made me wonder...they call the show Dutch Pinball Open which actually sorta implies they are more competition driven.
Maybe they don’t feel much for homebrew.
UK Pinfest is like the name kinda implies,a pinball festival.
Maybe they are more into homebrew/all pinball related?
They invited us last time and they were superhappy we came and loved that we added something to the show.
It takes a ton of effort to get our amigos live boot on a show and i am not gonna beg to be on a show.
Quoted from Thor-NL:Very strange you did not get an invite, such a hit, ahh well guess the loss is on DPO
Yeah,i don’t get it,would’ve been cool to show everyone the progress after one year?
Crazy Mansion grew a lot!
But yeah,as i said above to Jabdoa,we are not gonna ask...further,no big deal man.
To clear thing up,the organisation really counted on our attendance but thought they mailed us together with their mail list but we never got an email.
Our German “good vs Evil” friends didn’t get an email either so there was only 1 homebrew pin this year...the Matrix!
It has the cool of two machines, great to play it again, this one is owned by Ad Jonker.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:I mailed Mirco playfields a couple of times if he could please take along a professional whitewood for us so we could pick it up at the show(for our final playfield version.)
And he did, costed us €50.[quoted image]
give us a look..... is it raw blank or some parts already cut?
EDIT >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> arh, I see it, sorry
Quoted from swinks:cool, what was the location of the event this year, I want to go to the next one at the Evoluon
This was in “ijsselhallen” in the city “zwolle” in the Netherlands.
In my memory this location was sorta uncomfortable but it surprised me.
Evoluon is simply magical, hope they do that again soon!
The whitewood is just a whitewood,we do everything manual amigo
The Willy Wonka machine is the best JJP to my humble opinion...none of the patented loud JJP lightshows....a really finetuned decent machine!
I wish Gene Wilder could see this...he was so mad about Johnny Depp doing a remake of his masterpiece....he’d see we still honour him.
RIP Gene,we still love you!!
This year we just played a couple of machines and talked to a LOT of our friends who visit the topic regularly
Thanks guys, great to see you and chat(you know who we refer to)and thanks for your positive vibes!
Next year,we’ll have a playing Crazy Mansion!
Quoted from Zablon:This thread always brightens my day.
Hey thanks brother, nice of you to say that!
Quoted from pinballrockstar:American pinball’s Houdini and Oktoberfest where also at the show and my first impression of oktoberfest is very good, very nice toys and the right wire ramp is a piece of art![quoted image]
Praise from Caesar!
Thanks!

I'm glad you just got the wood. Sadly I don't trust anything coming out of Mirco anymore.
If I may suggest, once you get that bad boy drilled out and artwork laid down, then send it to Ron Kruzman for a clear job. You won't believe not only how good it looks but how freaking much faster your machine will play. Ron is THE MAN when it comes to clear jobs. (He's a super cool dude to boot)
As always looking forward to every Friday to see updates!
Between this and Project Binky... I wonder which will finish first.
"
At least we get weekly updates for this project.

Thanks for the lead man!
We still have a long way to go before the clearcoat but made a sidenote

What a coincidence,i just started a 1980 Monte Carlo lowrider project, what are the odds of you posting about a car build?
Funny...this project is in Dutch, but if there’s interest i can post progress vids now and then

Looks like a handful. I have a 1986 montecarlo SS, but its all original and only has 44k on the clock. wouldn't mind seeing this build here and there.

that would be cool to see progress vids of your build, but you love portrait videos

Well, if you just add your Dutch text to the bottom of your vid, we can translate it - will only take about as long
as the Binky project to do.. (especially in portrait mode )

Allright,let’s do that.
Quoted from swinks:that would be cool to see progress vids of your build, but you love portrait videos
Argh jezus...did i do it again?
Quoted from Marten:You’re a very brave man to take that Monte Carlo on! Love to see the progress on that too!
I restored a couple of cars in the past, this is by no means an easy one,but fuck it,let’s build a lowrider!
Quoted from bssbllr:Lets get this party started. I know it’s to early on this side of the pond but we get anxious.lol[quoted image]
I am not even home yet bro

I shoot these monte carlo vids for myself and a handful of friends, the footage will speak for itself

Hey , love the vid - That Monte seems quite the project! I'll just have to brush up on my Dutch!
(which comes first...the chickenpball or the Montegg... hmmm...)

Like i said, the vids speak for themselves
Gonna rip it apart oncoming week so expect a serious updat on the Monte lowrider project
Quoted from Lhyrgoif:Friday! Crazy stuff incoming
You bet!
I am booting the computer to add some details so we have something fun to show you tonight.
Gonna make a vid of how the machine works up until this point!
So you guys know we bought the high quality, super performance, competition specs playfield from Mirco
We placed it over here so it stays straight, really happy we got it...i was super thankful he shaved it for us chumps...i mean,it wasn’t for free but where do you buy a professional playfield board?
Think about it,it could’ve easily ended up as a Willy Wonka playfield?!
It is thát high quality
Quoted from GuiitarMan:Good day boys! It's about time for an alley meeting!
You read our mind!
