Playing Batman 66,first time actually for us!
Bedtime...what a show guys..
A ton of people played despicable me today and abeit being basic coded and all,it held up through the show.
It turns out to be really tough.
We are super proud of you, minion machine
We had a chat with a dude and he showed us a famous roundabout in England.
It is a roundabout with 6 roundabouts attached to it
And they drive on the wrong side!!!
Daredevils over here
Everybody likes the weird stuff in Crazy Mansion,Mic does a good job telling people in an exciting way what it is about
I had to beg Big Phil for some money cuz i had no pounds and the guy didn’t take card.
I was willing to do sad things to get the 15 pounds but Phil protected me against myself
But there i am!
The proud owner of a Vintage Commodore VIC20!
It even has the dustsleeve, manuals, power supply and 2 games!
15 pounds is a steal man...this rocks!
Wow - VIC20 was what I had as a teenager - was too poor to get a C64 or an Apple II. I had the cassette tape data storage recorder device and a RAM memory upgrade for it too. I would write code in BASIC on it but I don't remember what any of it did. I do remember it was possible to enter a "high resolution graphics mode" where you could use a "poke" command to directly write memory locations that would control individual pixels on the screen. The tape machine was necessary so you didn't have to re-type your program with every power cycle; I think the RAM upgrade provided enough memory to allow full-screen high resolution.
Happens to me a lot at shows - what you guys are doing (manning a booth for an entire show) can be very tiring. You guys are doing great!
-visit http://www.kahr.us to get my daughterboard that helps fix WPC pinball resets or my Pinball 2000 H+V Video Sync Combiner kit
The entire staff is helping us load the RV,we asked nobody for help, every ten minutes someone came over to see if we were preparing to load up and leave.
The entire staff came over to wave us goodbye plus our new friend Phil from Forbidden Planet
We are dropping off Jonathan Joosten from Pinball Magazine since we pass Luton airport
So while Bas n Beard were in UK I was able to smuggle a few beers out of the NL....... you forgot to lock the door when you left the NL guys!!
We passed customs and we are in line 10 right now,we made it back safe (if the boat doesn’t sink)
Quoted from Coindork:
You guys are insane in the very best way possible.
I love it.
Thanks brother,we appreciate it!
I guess it’ll be another hour before boarding so we took out our lounge set, people are looking at us like we are insane from behind the windows of their cramped and stuffed cars.
Envy is a bad thing people,we have the best seats in this row,and you know it!
But yeah,i guess our journey ends here people, when we board it is time to sleep in our bunkbed cabin on the ship(you are not allowed to sleep in an RV on board)
And to be honest,we can use some rest, tomorrow it is time to pick up where we left our daily lifes
And our conclusion is:
UK pinfest is a very very very cool show and Phil, his wife, the crew and our new pinball friends made us feel included in their cosy club of pinheads from the moment we walked in.
We were stuk in a loop at a certain point,we were thanking everybody for having us, and they were like: no thank you guys! and we were like: no you! (Etc.)
We are gonna convince our German friends to come over next year with their head to head pinball machine.(wait,i’ll add a picture in case you don’t know their Crazy build.)
We kinda missed them over there, they would’ve liked it so much..
This weekend we experienced what pinball should be about, good times..
Thank you all,we salute you,
Amigos over and out.
