Quoted from JayDee:Maybe you just need to do some “smoke” testing out in the alley to work out the bugs
Great plan!!

you’ll figure it out now
Okay,we have a runaway smoke machine?!??
It barely emits smoke and burned through our hose
Back to the drawing board!
Ah! Found the problem on the web...
Everybody complains about the cheap, bad smoke fluid which comes with the smoke machine.
We kept pushing and pushing the button to try and get some smoke...eventually our hose melted and caved in...fluid entered the machine and the machine went nuts...
I was thinking it was because the tube was split and you were losing pressure so I thought this set up might get you more smoke directed at the mansion. Single hose throttled down to direct smoke to front of mansion as it’s lifting up out of the playfield

Hi guys!
When you solve the fog machine, mount a removable plastic tray below it.
For lack of a better explanation, it "sweats" fluid, and youll want to catch it.
I might even suggest a Plastic storage bin for the whole thing, and am additional fan/small blower to flow into tube
and area needed.
(About where I left off adding this to my fire machine, so Im behind you, and weather delayed....)

As a test, put the smoke machine in the plastic storage bin, put the lid on and turn it on - it should quickly flood the small space with fog. Now, take that lid off and mount it to the bottom of the playfield such that the mansion is inside this smoke chamber with the smoke machine also inside the chamber. No tube needed... but that playfield has got to be getting heavy - this may make raising it a two man job.

Great drawing,great idea bro
I ordered a gallon of crazy-thick-cloud smoke fluid 03:00 last night(...)
We’ll be testing that next week.
It should work better and if not,we are building your flat funnel

Yeah? Indeed?
We noticed the sweat under the machine...we are considering placing the machine on the floor and feed the hose into the cab bottom.
Thanks for your tips Art!
We have your plan b on the shelve too, which is a great plan too.
We’ll get there!

Yeah the playfield weighs a ton already lol but we are gonna strip it from weight later on...this is just the proto.
That hose gives the smoke a brutal delay so it is something to consider.
Thanks for your thoughts!
And consider that this is our first test by the way,the final smoke setup needs to have a valve splitter so we can direct the smoke to another location under the playfield or the backbox.
The front doors in the backbox definately need to smoke while opening!!
Real cool
We kept battling the forces till 03:00 but eventually even the smoke machine pooped out on us...recap from last week:
Plus...last week,i ordered smoke fluid at 03:00 cuz i found out online, they give you free but supercrappy smoke fluid along with the machine
You can’t make this shit up...i wonder how many people tossed their smoke machine thinking it was a piece of crap, not worth buying new fluid for.
I love this cheap new worldwide situation
After some brainstorms,i took the Vespa to the hardware store and decided we are gonna use pvc plumbing for the first 4 feet or so,giving the smoke a little path to cool off a bit.
After that piece of cooldown tubing,we go flexible to where we need smoke.
