(have a nice weekend guys ...Throw a Tarp over the games in the alley...just to be safe)
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:Throw a Tarp over the games in the alley...just to be safe)
Hahaha, glad to see I'm not the only one that had a nervous tick over that.
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Hahaha, glad to see I'm not the only one that had a nervous tick over that.
We will,they are pure gold
So this is what we came up with today!
If the mansion lowers, the ufo clears the ramp real well and the ufo stops behind the skill shot setup we have from nba.
(Gonna change the basket ofcourse..)
The basic big stuff layout idea is there,we want to do an insane lower playfield...more next week!
Have a good weekend everybody!
great progress guys, is it going to have a shooter on the left as well,
would be cool if that was a hidden passage ball lock, ball can fall down there some how and then another ball is launched into the right hand side to keeping playing and you can choose when to play. But you can't launch once a drained ball hits a outlane or trough switch, if you go to use after a ball is drained it locks so can't be launched but can then be stolen by the next player.

Sidenote!
Quoted from smiley:The mansion looks kind of like the White House...that's crazy!
Yeah we are tooling with it,the mansion has to be perfect creepy, otherwise we toss it.
Thing is,you have a square block and within those measurements you need to create it.
So we are tossing and turning on that.
Most creepy mansions have sort of castle like features but the roof has to be flat(for the flap that closes the playfield when the mansion lowers)
or could the playfield itself have a hinge-able plate so when the mansion is up it could be vertical behind the mansion and then when the mansion goes down the flap lowers and closes off the hole.
You could even get creative and have some ball guides on it that can steer balls in different direction when the mansion is down and flap down ?????

I thought of that, but the mansion will have multiple entrances in the back.
Look at our right ramp,it feeds directly in the mansion, the flap will be in the way..
Great idea,would have totally worked.
Hm..thinking continues
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Now that is a proper pinball graveyard
It hurts a little to look at those poor pins, getting ready to soak up that moist and be completely useless in a matter of months
Quoted from smiley:The mansion looks kind of like the White House...that's crazy!
Well at this time I guess one could say the White House is a "crazy mansion"!!!

The rescue 911 cabinet will be used for a build,it is straight as an arrow..
We'll start savaging parts soon and organise them.
The rescue 911 has classic gottlieb playfield wear but it only needed prints and a dmd..
But that makes it financially pointless to repair it.
The space jam also needed prints but is high milage.
Roadshow is one foot in the grave

Lol,yes,spot on in hindsight!
Quoted from Devilsmuse:Hey Love your updates. how about this one?
Thanks for following man.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:I am restoring a classic Weltron stereo and recently received a new dust cover, there is one guy in Australia that makes 'em.
He adds little screws and instructions along with it in a yellow envelope.
The dustcover is taped on until i have the time to work on it..
The burglar thought i was hiding my money or such in that envelope..
Is his name Vince, Bas?
Oh and great updates as usual. I am now up to speed again. This is going to be another seriously great build.
Cheers Amigos and have a great week.

Cheers Amigos and have a great week.
His name is Don Maisch, just called him in Australia, real straight forward guy..he put me on the waiting list for this weltron dust cover and delivered..
The plastic he uses is not degrading by sunlight so it will outlast the weltron stereo itself.
Here is the link:
Glad you like the updates, log on next week , we got great stuff coming up!
And yes,it is going to be difficult again, but we'll pull it off.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Digging the pinball graveyard,so peaceful
