I prefer No Fear over Medieval Madness.

    #27 10 years ago
    Quoted from jwwhite15:

I once made a wire gate (the swinging part of a one way gate) out of a paper clip.

MacGyverism at it's finest! I did that once, too.

    #125 10 years ago

I put a glass ashtray under one of the front legs on a Sea Ray because I saw the big
    kids do that.

    Quoted from Jean-Luc-Picard:

I sometimes post stupid drunk comments on pinside.

I sometimes post stupid sober comments on pinside.

    Quoted from Blitzburgh99:

I use my truck's passenger side seat warmer to keep take-out food warm until I get home

I cooked hot dogs wrapped in foil on the Jeep's engine on the way to the ball game. Whatever works!

Too funny. But that blown in insulation is a rats nest waiting to happen. Ask me how I know....

6 years later and nothing has changed there.

I confess this is the last thread I posted in before I woke up one day with a total ban of all Pinside.

But I imagine you won't find it.

No use fighting it. Happy they let me back.

    Quoted from punkin:

Time for a bit of reflection i'd say.

Well, last time I tried that, I got fired. But, it certainly wasn't the first time.

    Quoted from henhonk:

I confess I willingly spent last night and this morning reading through the key posts of the Deeproot Pinball thread..

I confess I more than predicted the shit show in that thread over 5 years ago, but nobody wanted to listen.

At least no key posts were endowed my way.

    #12079 6 months ago
    Quoted from RyanStl:

I still think back fondly to all the cool food truck pics that filled the void between information.

That was absolutely the best part of that thread.

So sad their ambition was way bigger than their bankbook or it might have become reality.

What could be harsher than when Greg Brady got caught smoking?

    #12159 6 months ago
    Quoted from cdnpinbacon:

i confess I strained my stomach muscles at that video
That kid with the bowl haircut storming away was classic!!! I found a joint in moms dresser drawer.
This is why i come to pinside.

I confess I actually watched that show with my ex and her oldest daughter about the time ours was born. I remember laughing my ass off when I saw it as well.

Even better was Lucy's boyfriend Rod's response when the dad asked him about it.
"No way, I hear it lowers your sperm count".

    Quoted from cdnpinbacon:

Playing Acid Bath would probably be a no no in that house.

Don't know if you noticed the Star Trek connection or not, but both the mom and dad were stars in different Star Trek movies.

And don't even get me started on Dawson's Crack, the other show they made me watch.

    #12175 5 months ago

Moped Rod was the only cool thing about either of those shows, I confess.

The saddest thing was seeing one of my heroes from back in the day in serious decline.

    Quoted from phil-lee:

Is that "Ever seen a grown man naked? Matt Dillons' brother? Mission Impossible?

Matt Dillon was the Marshall. And his brother.

    #12186 5 months ago

I confess that I think the less the youngers know or care about self righteous Hollywood elites, the more hope for the future there is.

    #12192 5 months ago
    Quoted from punkin:

I drink milk straight from the jug in the middle of the night.
Nobody smacks me over the back of the head for it anymore either.

It doesn't have to be the middle of the night for me, but be careful of half and half from Minnesota is all I can say.

    #12194 5 months ago
    Quoted from punkin:

I don't know what half and half is

Half milk and half cream. Goes great in coffee. Or even French toast or pancakes.

Whenever we would get back, whether a car ride or a boat ride, my dad would always say "another safe journey". And some of the times, it amazingly was.

    #12384 3 months ago
    Quoted from LTG:

I confess. My day started with one of those things that makes you laugh and brightens your whole day.
I get a phone call from a man in Detroit Lakes. He has problems with a new Stern pin.
Stern told him to bring the game to me. I'm about three hours or so away. I don't do tech support for Stern, I don't have any of their newer games to even help me, help him.
    I'm still laughing.
I did find him a tech. Though I don't know if the tech would travel that far. So I told him he may have to bring the game to the tech, or even bring it to my business and the tech could help him here.
I love it. This is going to be a great day !
    LTG : )

I still get people calling and asking me to fix their German cars. I also have nothing to compare them to. And some cans of worms it is better not opening.

    Quoted from pinzrfun:

Every time I'd leave this guys office he'd say "Be safe out there"
