Everytime I stop and think about pinball I feel a little embarassed how stupid it sounds. Spending thousands of dollars to bat a ball bearing around. But i enjoy it everytime I play it and it does take my mind off everything else.

Aside from much it cost, I would be really embarrassed if anyone knew how much time I spend reading forums, looking for deals, and listening to podcast. It really is a lot of time.

When stuff goes bad on my pinball machines, now that my kid is almost 3 it doesn't get fixed for an embarrassing amount of time. I love to tinker but I usually would rather watch mad max fury road or guardians of the galaxy or frozen for the millionth with my kid than do something by myself.

I would probably rotate machines more if moving them wasn't a headache.

Sometimes, I wonder if I enjoy the hunt more than actually playing them.

I think nib is crazy expensive but part of me wants to downsize to get GOT.

I have the nice car and already made a deal if i could spend more on pins I would take the junker. Bluetooth connecting my phone to the sound system had been so nice that I haven't taken her up on the offer.

I am more interested in flashing lights and how the mechanical toys work than the rules. Rules are for at work or made by my wife. I want to just see cool shit when I play pinball.
