    True.

    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

I confess that I am about useless when it comes to trying to help with any technical advice

    Me too!

    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

I try to help entertain and make pinsiders laugh.

You do. I definitely laugh in the funny captions thread. Appreciate it.

Now - I confess that I love cheesy puns, even though I can never make good ones myself. Always gets me an eye roll when I tell one.

That’s what happens when you drink light beer Johnny. No buzz and major headache.

    #2403 3 years ago

I confess that when scrolling through any thread there were 2 profile pics that would catch my eye and I would read. vid1900 and LTG. I now have a 3rd one, johnnypinball007.

When I use public restroom urinals, I have to use the short ones designed for kids because the tip of my junk dips in the water on the tall ones.

    Quoted from Blitzburgh99:

When I use public restroom urinals, I have to use the short ones designed for kids because the tip of my junk dips in the water on the tall ones.

I have to use the short ones because I am not very tall, and I do not want to get close to the urinal.

And not to brag about size, but I am just glad I no longer have to keep a pair of tweezers to get it out. Well, just barely.

(back in high school I was a clown. anytime someone would brag I would go along and say damn you are so lucky).

    Quoted from freeplay3:

    I now have a 3rd one, johnnypinball007.

    Thanks buddy!

I am surprised you did not get 5 downvotes. Some people don't like me because my posts are too long.

And I promise to try to chill out and keep my posts shorter.

    #2406 3 years ago

I confess that I am glad Pinside has rules and moderators. A while back Force Flow was very helpful, and fixed something I did not know how to.

I do not get offended easily, it has to be something very bad concerning cruelty to children or animals to offend me.

Sometimes I even give a upvote when I know that poster is going to get moderated, if it was funny.

Sometimes I do not give a vote at all, if that member is getting a tad crazy and may get in trouble.

I have never gave a downvote, and never will. If something is bad enough I will click to send it to the mods, and I have never done that yet.

My last downvote was funny, I was trying to make a joke and be entertaining in the Bitch Thread, and was trying to make a joke that my bitch was dingle berries, and there is a member here called dingleberry that downvoted me. (and I am sure he was laughing and having fun...unless that is his real name and has been picked on his whole life?)

And I confess that my 100% favorite topic on Pinside is Dogs Rule!

I love dogs, damn coyotes got my last one, and I am not ready again yet.

When I am ready though everything will be 100% coyote proof.

If you have not posted pics of your dog/s in Dogs Rule! well, get to it please.

    Agreed.

I confess I lurked a long time before my first post. Also, Pinside is pretty much the only social media I participate in. I have a Facebook account but rarely post anything on it.

I think most of us get what you mean tho....no FB, Twitter, Instagram....all those icons you now see on the side of condiment packages. I'm the same way. I have about 3 or 4 accounts for forums that are specific to a certain topic/hobby.

    #2415 3 years ago

I sold 8 games because I am moving and did not want to have to move them. I haven’t moved yet and I am already buying new games. My logic = easier to move and better protection in a box. Haha! My most irrational decisions come from this hobby!

Yes we do, i have a facebook account for my business that i don't monitor, also have two or three pinball sales pages in Au. Only post on those, have never taken a selfie, never filled out a status on Fb, never looked at twitter or the other one. Prolific forum poster for many years though.

    Quoted from snowy_owl:

I confess that I don't own a cat but I still enjoy looking at the cats and pinballs thread as well.

I confess I have no use for cats. I would never be mean to them or any animal, I just try to stay away.

8 or 9 years ago I helped my neighbor get his kitten off his roof. He had just had surgery and was not able to climb the ladder.

The kitten scratched me. It was just playing king of the mountain or something, it was not being mean, and neither was I.

I never used to get sick. I started getting sick all the time, bad colds, and just crazy problems.

One day all of a sudden I thought I was going blind. My Dad was already blind from diabetes, and I have low sugar.

I went to Pearl Vision, and after a few minutes checking my eyes they said I needed to go to a eye specialist asap.

The specialist was also freaked out. They sent me to their best Doctor, and after taking a look he started asking me all these questions, like had I been bit by a tick recently, and all kinds of stuff.

All my answers were no, until the question came up have I been scratched by a cat.

So I had to go get blood work and I tested positive for cat scratch disease. They said I will always have it.

The medication got most of my eyesight back, but there is still a spot in my right eye that I can no longer read a eye chart with that eye.

Sorry for the long story, but always be aware those kittens can mess you up.

This is no joke. I wish it was.

I’m going to get a ton of crap for this but I confess I hate the scoring on new games. “I scored 14 million on (insert game name here)” Why did game manufacturers go away from scoring 1,10,50,100,500 points? Maybe it’s a bit of an ego stoke so that it will drive more money into the machines. It feels better to score 14 million than to score 1400

Dr. Evil : Shit. Oh hell, let's just do what we always do. Hijack some nuclear weapons and hold the world hostage. Yeah? Good! Gentlemen, it has come to my attention that a breakaway Russian Republic called Kreplachistan will be transferring a nuclear warhead to the United Nations in a few days. Here's the plan. We get the warhead and we hold the world ransom for... ONE MILLION POINTS!

Number Two : Don't you think we should ask for *more* than a million points? A million points isn't exactly a high score these days. Virtucon alone scores over 9 billion points a year!

Dr. Evil : Really? That's a lot of points.

    [pause]

Dr. Evil : Okay then, we hold the world ransom for...

Dr. Evil : One... Hundred... BILLION POINTS!

    Cat Scratch fever?

    #2430 3 years ago
    Quoted from poppapin:

    Cat Scratch fever?

No, that is a song. My friends joke about that.

It is called cat scratch disease.

It seems to affect everyone differently. It went after my eyes worse than anything.

I confess I have not been on here much because it has been storming, and I unplug everything in case of a lightning strike.

    #2431 3 years ago

I confess I like GA Power, the power was only off 30 minutes after the last storm. (it was bad, lots of trees down).

I hate my cable company, took them 4 hours for me to be able to check Pinside.

And I am hooked bad on Pinside.

I check my business email maybe 4 times a day now, and half the time I am really just looking at it now to see if I have a pm from here about a game I want.

All I know is I stay extremely busy anymore. Screwing around is a whole lot more time consuming than I ever imagined.

And I am getting better at this, this is a very short post for me after a few Natties!

    #2432 3 years ago

    I really like Hurricane.

We could start a thread for phone and ISP's alone. Don't get me started.

    #2440 3 years ago
    Quoted from poppapin:

Sounds more like a bitch!! There's a thread for that too.

    I think I have both.

My bitch is my girlfriend ran her mouth that I spend too much time on Pinside.

My confession is she is going out of town with her Mom for a few days, and at the moment I am glad.

(and I also confess I hope she does not read this, she is not a member that I know of).

She is a keeper, likes all the games as much or more than me.

We love variety. Next game will be a Big Buck Hunter arcade. Not sure if getting new or used yet, still thinking.

We do not play the pins much anymore, but she prefers TWD over OKT.

We play a lot of Golden Tee.

She gets ticked that I can hog a pin for a long time with a good game. I get ticked it takes her forever to decide what to do next in Golden Tee.

She amazes me sometimes, some shots she tries actually works.

Anyway, she also brought me a Natty 30 pack while ago, so that works.

I think maybe I can confess that at the moment I do not have anything to bitch about.

    #2441 3 years ago

I confess my eyes are not that great. (the cat thing).

Anyway I have starred many a comment, and there have been maybe 3 times so far something popped up that said report abuse. (was in the what machine did you bring home topic mostly).

It seems there is a report abuse button near the star button.

They need to move that in another corner somewhere.

And if I did accidently click I am sure the mods were thinking "what a dumbass, why is buying this machine a abuse).

Anyway I love this site, 99% of the members here are friendly and helpful. The mods are awesome, and Robin is awesome on rare occasion when I see him post something.

And yeah, the arcade bar topic, I keep rolling my eyes. The mods have been very nice and trying to remind of the rules, and it does not sink in.

    #2442 3 years ago

I confess I do not get the LIONMAN topic. I went there one time, and typed LIONMAN! like everyone else.

Is that all that is? Like the please delete/nothing topic(that I had fun with for a while).

Anyway, there must be something wrong with this batch of Natty. Normally after a few I lighten up and try to make jokes, but so far I am just serious like normal.

This has been happening a lot lately. Not sure if the Natty is bad or still ticked my girlfriend says I spend too much time on Pinside.

Hell, she is out of town, I should be going wild. About the wildest I may get is to listen to Meatloaf and other bands she can not stand shortly.

And yeah, I keep watching my street, so far the signs are working. And maybe the last people that were surrounded by cops got the word out to not be parking here and doing drugs and having sex. Nasty bastards, leaving condoms on the street. (and needles).

    #2443 3 years ago
    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

Hell, she is out of town, I should be going wild.

Twenty years ago my wife was going back home to Ukraine for 17 days. Her friend Lena asked me what I was going to do during that time, thinking I'd be heart broken. I told her I'd be at the casino or strip clubs every night.

She didn't believe me, asked my wife and my wife said the same thing. She asked my wife why she'd allow it. My wife told her, "he's a grown man, how am I going to stop him ?"

I picked the wife up at the airport, $1400 richer. Drove a hundred miles an hour to get back for some welcome home sex, and went to work.

The good old days. Life was good.

The good old days. Life was good.

Thanks Lloyd! You have awesome stories!

For a minute I thought hell yeah, I am about to call a cab and get out and have some fun!

Then it hit me, right now the girls would all be wearing masks, etc. and I am old enough myself with a few problems that I need to stay chilled out and away from everyone.

I confess this virus shit sucks, for a minute there after reading LTG's story I was ready to hop a cab to the Oasis.

I have no use for some hole in the wall strip bar, and the Oasis was not one of those places, it was damn awesome!

They even had a professional massage therapist that would fix all the knots in your back while you were watching the other action.

Long ago I would take friends and business clients there, and no one was ever disappointed.

Thanks LTG, for reminding me about the good old days.

He was right. I have been truly blessed.

4am here now. About to crash. 163 pinsiders online, 299 guests.

I confess late at night how this site gets so dead while it is all over the world, and still early in CA, and morning somewhere, that it is just so odd.

If O-din was here I am sure that # would show 164.

I 100% confess O-din is the reason I got hooked here goofing off and having fun.

I hope when he comes back he can chill a tad, but still push to the max he can get away with.

And LTG is beyond amazing. Helps people all the time and then out of the blue tells a very entertaining story.

Every now and then I see Robin chime in about something, and that is always super cool.

And while selling games here that I was tired of, every buyer that is a member here has been super awesome.

This site is awesome, and it is not even a site, this is a club.

(and I am glad my girlfriend is still out of town because right about now she would bitch that I am still here and not in bed with her).

    #2447 3 years ago
    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

then out of the blue tells a very entertaining story.

Well over in the you think you are old thread about the bull pliers, got me thinking of another bull story.

I was about 10 years old, working at my Father's shooting gallery at the MN. State Fair. He sent me off on a wild goose chase for a yardstick or something he saw everybody carrying and wanted one.

I go the opposite direction of everybody carrying them hoping to get to the source. Down by the cow barns there was a huge black angus bull in a pen in the middle of the street standing there all by himself.

Loving beef I was curious how many porterhouse steaks were on that thing ?

It seems the breeder association was raffling the bull off to encourage other farmers to raise them. All you had to do was fill in a piece of paper with your name and stuff on it and toss it in a barrel.

Now these farmers were talking about what they'd do if they won. Things like raise them, share with neighbors for breeding stock, all kinds of plans. One man asked me, "son. if you win that bull, what are you going to do with him?".

I said, "I'm going to eat the son of a b*tch".

Sadly, I suspect my entry disappeared from the barrel shortly after I left.

Tonight I have only popped in here a tad. I have been watching horror movies on dvd.

My girlfriend claimed to like that kind of movie, until I put Hostel part one in, now she will not watch any horror movie I have.

So I was watching the Wrong Turn movies. Yeah, they are sick and out there, but if she would watch it is so funny how the main cannibal would also remind her of someone we know(the hair).

She is due back in town today. While she was away I spent a lot of time here, listened to music she hates, and watched movies she will not watch. AND IT WAS AWESOME!

LTG really had me pumped with the casino and strip bar stuff. I was thinking hard about that.

But it sucks around here no casinos, and that one awesome strip bar is a 40 minute cab ride each way, and with all the mask stuff going on now, and the fact I am just staying away trying to be safe, I have just behaved.

I was looking at turning Oktoberfest on while ago, but I chilled out and watched some Wrong Turn movies.

I confess I hope LTG can remember some more stories and post here, he is AWESOME!

I also hope O-din can get off time out soon and be back. And I hope he can be a tad chilled out, but not too much. It would suck if O-din suddenly became like Jack Nicolson at the end of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. (I love that movie, but the ending sucks).

Funny, I was just reminiscing here with a friend and some of the fun from the old days. When the manufacturers went "all out" for industry shows.

Great times. I'll have to share with you some day.

    LTG : )

    #2450 3 years ago
    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

I hope LTG can remember some more stories

Here is one. I can't mention names.

Industry show. We were at a manufacturers live sex show. Two naked chicks on a mattress. My friends dad ( body guard for one of the mob types ) gets in front of girls and faces the men watching and says, "I bet you all wonder why I asked you here this evening?".

The girls fell off of each other. Everybody was laughing. And some of the biggest bouncers I'd ever seen ( their necks looked like my waist ) picked us up and hauled us out of there, not gently through the doors and out we went.

Looking back on it. It was worth it. It was fun. A good time to reminisce about.
