It drives me crazy when people are looking for recommendations and end their post with "And go!"

What sayings drive you guys crazy? And go!

When someone wants me to do something for them but instead of ASKING me to do it, they state their problem and end the sentence with "so...", followed by a long pause where they expect me to jump in and volunteer to do it.

I usually just say something like "Rough, man. Well, good luck with it."

I confess that I love ACDC premium when it all comes together, freakin blast!

#1856 3 months ago

I confess I actually went to confession the other day, first real time, and it felt great.

#1857 3 months ago

I also confess I like to make sure my kids new toys are “working properly” before they use them.

#1858 3 months ago

Bless me, Father, for I have sinned....it’s been 6 months since my last confession, and these are my sins....

Very sorry to hear. I hope your Daughter can enjoy some of Christmas and heals fast.

LTG : )

^^^^^ thanks kindly. Yeah we made it back home surgery this week but she was really happy to see some turkey.

And Bob's your uncle

Until nowadays when he decides he doesn't want to be your uncle anymore and instead wants to be your auntie!

Is that really a confession, wish that was my biggest sin!

Or did you break her wrist?

#1865 3 months ago
Quoted from king-pin:

Or did you break her wrist?

Nah, at the family gathering for Christmas her cousin backed up without looking and pinned her arm in between two cars. Luckily the car dented and absorbed some of the impact so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been, but surgery this week on her wrist.

Quoted from king-pin:

That would be a twisted confession.

#1867 3 months ago

How long until she can play pinball again?

#1868 3 months ago

^^^^ That’s a valid question. I will ask the doctor.

Last night we were watching TV and for some reason an old cartoon "Quick Draw McGraw" came to mind, and I thought about how much I miss my Quick Draw pin.

#1874 3 months ago

Over the holidays I cleaned the basement and found a box of pinball stuff from Marco - lots of white rubber, coil stops, etc. Some of it was stuff I was about to order again because that little box was hiding under a pile of other crap.

On the storage unit thing...yeah, we’ve spent at least $5k on our 10x20. I’ve got about 10 pins there now, mostly old Ballys that I’ve restored (I cycle them in and out of the basement). I also want to open a location when I turn 60 and “retire”. But I’ll do the math: $150/month, about 50 months to retirement...that’s $7500. Not too smart. I need to give this some serious thought.

I don't like when people call playfield features "toys".

"not enough toys on the playfield" = cringe

#1876 3 months ago

What else would you call it when people stick action figures all over their games?

Quoted from punkin:

I’d call it Stupid!!!

#1882 3 months ago

^^^^^^ it’s always better to be late then never.

#1883 3 months ago

Well written series..I don't watch much tv but that show was great.. American version of Shameless is one to watch after breaking bad !!

Not all games in my "pinside collection" are mine, 2 of them are owned by my dad

#1885 3 months ago

I confess I instantly looked at your collection, then tried to figure out which ones are your dad's.

Shopping at IKEA is like playing original Mario Bros video game for Nintendo....you go through the same pattern every time to get to the end. To get there faster, there are a bunch of hidden shortcuts along the way.

I confess I might spend discretionary money on another hobby.

#1892 3 months ago

I confess that I am glad the Holiday season is over, it was causing my girlfriend a lot of stress.

#1893 3 months ago

most nights I'm way too exhausted to have time to play games, but I still like looking into my gameroom and get a lot of pleasure just seeing it all, even if I don't have the time+energy

Last week was the end of 2019, but I partied like it was 1999.

Was there ever an answer as to where he went?

#1897 3 months ago

In 2003 I had to relocate without enough time to sell my collection.
Aztec
Speakeasy - Add a Ball
Strange Science
13' SkeeBall lane

I asked my uncle to see if he could help me sell them and I would split the money with him.
Even though I gave him a price range, before I knew it he sold the whole lot for $750.
He just didn't want to be bothered with it.

#1898 3 months ago
Quoted from dasvis:

He went to Aussie Arcade when he left here.

#1899 3 months ago

JJP POTC would be the last game standing in my collection but the stupid money they're bringing is tempting me..

#1900 3 months ago

I started to write this long comment about price policing and why people even care in the Metallica thread, and then deleted it. I thought to myself "Who Cares?" Just ignore dumb comments. I dont need to get into a riff with anyone. Peace and Love!
