Confess that when my girlfriend is here, I do not even look at Pinside.
I used to.
But I got so tired of her looking over my shoulder if I started typing anything.
She thinks I am talking to girls on here.
Um, I am pretty sure that is not happening.
Not recently, but for a while she would say "go ahead and get on Pinside, I know you want to".
Other than that, the only thing she does that ticks me off is taking way too long to get ready in the morning, if we are on a road trip.
Saves me money though, because I rarely take any road trips because of that crap.
I mean she messes with her hair while drinking coffee, and hair looks fine to me, I think we are ready to go, but NO! She washes her hair then and I am like wtf? Now we have to start all over with the hair crap?
Confess that morning hair crap is always a 2 hour ordeal at the best. And what gets me is all these curlers and stuff are involved, but when finally done her hair is straight.
We have been together longer than any of my past relationships, and I have no plans to leave her, because other than looking over my shoulder if I am on here, and the long hair ordeal on road trips, she is AWESOME!

Confess that I think Steve Young is one of the nicest guys in pinball. I just called him with a huge order, and he was as nice and patient as can be. Of course I had all my part #s ready, so that made it easy. Now I’m looking forward to giving my Gottlieb EMs some love:
Quick Draw
Jungle Queen
Abra Ca Dabra
Centigrade 37

4 great titles! And yes, Steve's the man.

I need to call in another order with him too. It’s been over a month
I went to the dentist today. Fyi ..the needles are still huge. I had to hold the dental assistants hand during the numbing process. Edit
Seriously..I didn't like it and asked to her to hold my hand ...like my wife was there...to be honest
No one holds my hand better than my wife
The needle was fkn scary and huge and hurt
Fk sakes..just confessing.
Quoted from cdnpinbacon:No one holds my hand better than my wife

I was just at dentist last month twice. Got needles, didn't feel A THING. Its all in the pace and how they pre-numb it with the jelly. I have a great dental hygienist, she's fantastic for having no pain work done.

Why did you look? It's like being up on a ladder an then looking down.
Quoted from RyanStl:Why did you look? It's like being up on a ladder an then looking down.
I’ll stare at needles all day long before getting on a tall ladder.
I actually don’t mind heights it’s the ladder part I don’t like.
Quoted from RyanStl:Not me, no way.
I confess with my health issues I’ve been an ER patient more than I’d like to but those IVs on the top of your palm are painful after a couple hours.
So definitely no judgment here.
Quoted from EJS:I confess with my health issues I’ve been an ER patient more than I’d like to
Confess so far, I have never been to the ER much, but when I did it always involved stitches.
Quoted from EJS:getting on a tall ladder.
Confess the higher I go up on a ladder, the more the damn thing always seems to start shaking worse and worse.
Quoted from northerndude:I was just at dentist last month twice. Got needles, didn't feel A THING. Its all in the pace and how they pre-numb it with the jelly. I have a great dental hygienist, she's fantastic for having no pain work done.
The jelly helps, except certain areas like upper near the sinuses always seem to hurt like hell.
For me anyway, after the work is done, normally I am mostly still sore where they gave the shot in the first place.
Confess once, I had a root canal from a dentist that either does not know what in the hell he was doing, or did not care.
That bastard just sprayed a little something in there from time to time when I was in a whole lot of pain.
After that, I will never have another root canal again. In the end some of those just messed up later and caused more problems anyway.
Dentists are the biggest rip-off period. I have never found the first one that I actually liked.
Even ones that I liked at first, that seemed to go the extra mile and do a poke test to make sure I was numb, and if I could feel anything they would give more shots until I was all good, then the next visit they would be in a hurry, and I would say HELL NO!, give me a poke test, and every damn time I needed more shots and they were about to hurt me, because they were in a hurry.
Confess about 6-7 years ago I went to a couple of places, just trying to have all my teeth pulled, while I only had a couple that really needed any work, just because I hate dentists, and all the expense.
Teeth messing up at the wrong time along with a few other problems costed me from buying another rental house for 100K, that just 6-7 years later is worth 300k, so thanks to my teeth, and dentists, for keeping me lower middle class, when I was trying to move to middle, middle class.
Quoted from cdnpinbacon:I went to the dentist today. Fyi ..the needles are still huge. I had to hold the dental assistants hand during the numbing process. Edit
My confession - when i was about 14 i had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled in preparation for getting braces. They had me on laughing gas for probably 10 minutes, and never having teeth pulled before I was breathing in as deep and fast as I could to make sure I didn't feel anything. Well after about 5 minutes I was spaced out (never having done anything like THAT either). Out of the corner of my eye i saw the technician come in, who was probably 18 or 19. I turned my head in slow motion (it seemed), and while she was facing away from me arranging the instruments I thought, holy crap, I can reach out and grab her ass and blame it on the gas!
I can still see my 14 year old arm reaching out in vain (she was JUST out of reach, thank god) and finally giving up.
So, just another real life lesson for you. Don't do drugs.

Nope. Must of missed the boat on that one.

I’ve been to the ER twice for pinball
1) 906 bulb from Striker Extreme
2) transformer from 8 Ball Deluxe
Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:Confess the higher I go up on a ladder, the more the damn thing always seems to start shaking worse and worse.
And for whatever reason it’s more windy at the top of ladders. Even inside
Confess I actually have a pinball confession:
While ago, we were playing Godzilla, and after a multi-ball it went into search mode, and I looked around and I did not see a ball stuck anywhere, and I thought the switch at the return must have gone bad.
That went on for a while, with me opening the door and manually just popping another ball out.
Then, my girlfriend finally noticed the stuck ball, and I was very glad that there was not anything wrong with the game.
BUT! Then I made it so far into the game and seen some new stuff I had never seen before, and I thought the game was messing up again.
This game is a blast! I love it!
Also confess I have not felt well since May. (Stomach issues).
A few years ago, I mentioned some of that at a doc in the box place, and they told me to stop drinking beer, stop smoking, and eat soup.
Hell No!
I was totally fine for a few years, better than ever, never even needed to see a doctor for anything for years, until, last May, when I had poison ivy, and the pills they gave me seemed to make my stomach worse than it has ever been.
As much as I hate to, I guess soon I will try soup for a couple of days.
If that does not work I guess I will look for a stomach specialist nearby. No more doc in the box for that stuff though.
And LTG has been a little quiet here, maybe soon he will have another funny story soon!

I’m assuming he’s staying busy with party prep. I’m hoping I can stop in and say hi.

Been busy getting things accomplished for the party. This morning 10 slabs of Famous Dave's ribs were ordered for the event. Deliver at 6pm. Devoured shortly after.
Here is another picture of the extremely limited souvenir some lucky attendees will be getting.
Pictures will be posted on my 50th Anniversary thread. And I believe Pinball News will have a write up of the event.

Oh god did this make Me laugh...I was about 16 in the dentist office for a root canal. I remember the dentist and assistant looking down at me and asking me if I was ok with the laughing gas (Mabey it was my Judas Priest t-shirt) i don’t know but I do remember asking for the maximum dose, the office ceiling tiles start to re arrange and the dentist asking the assistant, so what are you doing tonight as he screwed something into my jaw.

JQ isn’t looking too bad, so I’m leaving it as-is for now. And I have mixed feelings about replacing the posts and lane guides on Quick Draw. It probably looks more like it was when it was new, but I’ve kinda wrecked the patina. I’m keeping the cab original, and that has a ton of character. Someone used the right side of the head as a bulletin board. I tell myself it was on location at a Piggly Wiggly. If pins could talk…

Is JQ a fun game? Mine hasn’t been set up since I bought it as is (never powered to test it).
I keep hearing about Piggly Wiggly in movies! I thought it was a fictional place! I just searched the internet and ITS REAL!

Yeah, I love mine. I just went through it a few days ago and fixed all the outstanding issues. I have 14 pins set up in the basement and Jungle Queen is the only one my dad will play. And he’ll play it for like an hour.
