I confess that I sometimes think of a silly story and I'll think "Oh, that would be a good rant for the confessional"
By the time I get home and on pinside I completely forget what I was even thinking of.
I think I have a bad memory...bad hearing also. I feel like I'm constantly saying "what??" whenever I'm having a conversation with someone. Kinda awkward, or if nothing else it's annoying.

Confess I have been easy to forget things now for over 30 years, and I try to keep a pad and pen handy to write down stuff so I can remember.

Confess as I get used to having a smartphone more, maybe someday I will do away with the pad and pen and just text myself what I need to remember.

Confess I am still using only a computer, with large screen, and a full size typewriter keyboard for all my posts here.

Confess I have some weird ass hearing stuff myself. Half the time I can not understand what someone just said in the movie I am watching, but I can walk outside and hear music being played 10 miles away that I can not stand and I wonder where that noise is coming from.

Also confess I hope LTG and you, and everyone else remembers some more funny stuff to post here soon!

    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

Confess I have some weird ass

The older I get, the more weird ass stuff I have to happen.

Confess I have not been to a doctor in the last 2-3 years, (Oct. before the pandemic started), and that was for ear pain so bad and turned out it was a mold or something that had started growing in my ear. I was ready to die the pain was so bad.

Confess now I just made myself a note to see a foot doctor. For years now I have had a big toe not looking too good, and sometimes it will itch like crazy, but if I scratch it, it hurts like hell. And the last 8 months now a painful corn on the other foot that over the counter stuff has not helped.

My newest problem. about 3 months now, no matter what I do, no matter how many times I clean, my right armpit has odor, and I have never had any of that, and it is always only the right armpit.

Confess I can see overall just as fine as almost anyone, but the next time I have to take a eye exam for a driving test I will probably lose my drivers license.

I have spots in my eyes that prevent me from reading a eye chart, from Cat Scratch Disease.

I can see fine with both eyes open, but when I close either one to try to read a chart, that is when the shit hits the fan and I can not read anything on the chart.

A few years ago I also found out I also do not have depth perception, and I never knew that.

The friend that I operate construction equipment for a few years ago wanted me to get a CDL to be able to drive a dump truck some for him also, and I confess I did not even study any of that crap, I went straight to the physical because I knew my eye chart thing would fail me, and it did not, but the depth perception stuff in the next extended test did.

I guess someday when they are ready to take my drivers license I will have to say wait a minute, just because I can not read a eye chart, well, give me a road test, or a driving course test, so I can prove that overall I can see fine.

Anyway, take it from me, never mess around with a kitten. Confess I have never owned a cat, or kitten, and I was just helping a neighbor one time with his, and that shit has caused me a whole lot of crap every since.

It has been a while, but somewhere I think another member here also got this stuff and had to have some amputations.

    It is always something.

Enjoy life and have all the fun you can, while you can.

Time flies for me now, it seems like just a few days went by since the last time I took care of everything that I also took care of last year with payments to my accountant and tax stuff.

Having these games around to enjoy helps a lot, life is short, and nice to have some beer and relax and play games right here at home.

Confess though I do spend a lot more time reading posts here and giving upvotes than I do playing my games anymore, but I enjoy all of you knuckleheads!

I hope all of you are having a great week.

Confess if JohnnyPinball007 has a long post I upvote it first while I am at the top and then read it.

I also confess I don't like to buy flowers for my wife as they die in a few days and I think it is a waste of money, but she likes them so I buy them anyway at random once in a while and it makes her happy (which then makes me think it is worth it for at least a little while).

This is kind of what people tell me when I buy fireworks.

    #6607 1 year ago

Confess that i bought 2000 bouncy balls with the intention of giving them away and the hopes that some of the people who receive them will take their kids outside and play handball.

I’m 44YO, father of two teenagers, and I have over 3500 hours logged playing GTAO on XBox.

This is easily most embarrassing thing I’ve ever posted.

    #6609 1 year ago

I've never played an xbox. Or a playstation after the originals when i told my preteen son he could keep that shit.

He's in his late 30's now.

    #6610 1 year ago

I've never had a cup of coffee in my life

    #6611 1 year ago

I’ve never hit/used the snooze button on an alarm clock. Isn’t the idea of an alarm clock is to wake u up?!

    #6612 1 year ago

    I've never urinated.

I had a invention in grade 5. A alarm clock that yells at you. I've always been a light sleeper and alarm clocks wake me up but I've had friends who just sleep right thru them. WAKE UP MOTHER FKR. WAKE UP, WAKE UP! Too bad shark tank wasn't around then.

Nice! Until Christmas 2016, when I got a PS4 from my kids for Christmas, the most recent console in my house was a Nintendo 64.

I switched to XB about a year later.

I confess I set my alarm 2 snooze cycles early. That way I always wake up on time, or early if I accidentally get up after 1

    Quoted from jesperpark:

    Quoted from snowy_owl:

This is kind of what people tell me when I buy fireworks.

Confess when I was in my teens and 20's I wasted a lot of money on fireworks, but they were illegal here at the time, so it was fun.

Now that fireworks are legal here, I will never spend the first penny on them, I just grab some beers and a chair and sit outside watching what everyone else wasted money on.

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

I've never had a cup of coffee in my life

I used to, but I have not had coffee in around 20 years now, and no sodas in about 30 years now.

    Quoted from hwyhed:

I’ve never hit/used the snooze button on an alarm clock. Isn’t the idea of an alarm clock is to wake u up?!

I never did either, until about 5 years ago.

Confess if I have to get up early, at most I will hit the 5 minute snooze one time.

Confess if I am taking a afternoon nap, I may keep hitting the snooze button over and over.

Confess sometimes if I have to get up at 5am, and I am wide awake at 3am, I will just say screw it and go ahead and get up.

It really pisses me off when I can not sleep well at all until a few minutes before the alarm is about to go off.

    Quoted from punkin:

    I've never urinated.

Yeah, I take a leak, or pee, but I have never used that word either.

Confess I have never called it tt either. When I was very young my Mom would ask if I needed to tt, I would say no, I need to pee.

I just learned that my second favorite department store, Barney’s New York closed and was liquidated two years ago.

It made me realize how out of the loop I’ve been during this stupid pandemic crap.

The only reason I got an A- in Spanish 3 my senior year in HS was because of my inappropriate relationship with my teacher.

To be clear, she was 22 and I was 18, so it was legal, but being it was a Catholic All Boys School and it was her first year teaching, it was still quite taboo.

I went through the 12 years of school and a college business management course, and never missed a day.

Confess I would have never made it, if it were not for the work program letting me the hell out of there before lunch in high school.

I have never tried cocaine. I’m a bit of a sports junkie, and when I was young, I remember that the Celtics drafted a guy (I think 1st overall) named Len Bias back in ‘85. Well he celebrated, n did cocaine. He had an od, and tragically passed away. For that reason, I’ll never try/do it..

I was on the work program for my last two hours senior year. I also took first hour release since I had so many credits built up.

It was awesome showing up late and leaving early every day. I was mentally checked out. No school spirit I was ready to get my life going on other things.

I never got around too trying till the last couple of years. i don't particulaly care for it. I think it's overrated and too expensive for what you get.

And that's when i've been with long time fans who say what we are taking is great gear.

Coke was a party/bar drug in high school. We had a childhood friend who was a dealer so grams were $30 instead of $80. $100 eight balls. It started off as a weekend only thing. Then a weeknight thing, then why not rock it up. Crackheads are hermits and never seen. Slowly my hardcore friends are getting arrested and in and out of jail or rehab. Luckily I broke free and haven't smoked a rock or snorted a line since my 20th birthday

Speed was my downfall as a younger man. Went hand in hand with my job as a cab driver. Was weekends, then long weekends, then a gram a day. Pretty much nearly fucked my life, so i keep away from it.

The molly is still an aphetamine, but much softer, i can sleep and eat. Plus, once bitten twice shy.

only prob is it's so hard to get here.

Yeah, but those porn iff/ gifs took forever to load from floppy drive. I still have a Amiga 1200 and A600, with acceleratorboards etc. Never use them though. Unfortunately. Many good games, but none come near a physical and real pinball machine.

I don't really like cocaine. I just like how it smells.

    #6638 1 year ago

I think maybe I’ve told this story here before. First week in college, the house drug dealer came and said “free coke for all the freshmen!”. He laid out a mirror with 3 lines - one for each of us. I snorted my line, and sneezed so hard I blew the other 2 lines onto the floor (carpet). Either I was banned or I banned myself from trying it again, and went right back to my Black Russians and beer.

I confess i didnt have my first beer til i was 19, but damn I made up for it after that. I always liked the smell but hated the taste, never finished an entire can/bottle. I even tried chasing it w pop lol.

I was sitting w my buddy in his basement bedroom at his mom and dads one day, set the empty can down, and said "That's the first beer I've ever drank in my life." And he was like "bullshit...." and I explained it to him. He was like "well shit, that's a big deal dude!" He goes in the other room and rips a piece of cardboard off a box, writes "Dons First Beer" on it w the date, and jams both it and the empty beer can on a nail that was sticking out of a ceiling joist. It was there for well over a decade. When he finally built his own house in his 30s and was cleaning out his room at mom and dads he called and asked me if i wanted it. I told him no, the first one wasn't really anything to be proud of, the last one is.

I lost a year again. My mum just rang me and said happy 58th.

I said, no i'm 57, she said do the maths, son.

    Fuck.

I hit my late 50's today. I'm an old man instead of a young retiree.
