    Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:

Confess that sometimes the store that has the best price on Natty still runs out from time to time.

I confess I've never had a Natty in my life, so I don't know what I'm missing (or not missing).

This is the first year I didn't fill out a March madness bracket in 30+ years I also never placed a bet on the games Will also be the first time in 20+ years I'll miss watching the opening Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday batch of games. I got today in but no go till Sunday nights games. Go Peacocks!!

    #6503 2 years ago

I confess this cognac is kicking my butt! I am definitely not the pinball wizard tonight! It was still a blast!

I tied one on last night and didn't wear it off till the afternoon, which is rare. Said I wouldn't drink tonight. I'm already on my fourth double

    #6506 2 years ago

I confess I've never filled out a bracket, don't follow basketball, and honestly don't know much of the rules.

    #6507 2 years ago

Also confess I barely watch hockey anymore. Used to watch it all the time, now barely watch a period here or there. Keep up on the highlights though

    #6508 2 years ago
    Quoted from jesperpark:

I confess I've never filled out a bracket, don't follow basketball, and honestly don't know much of the rules.

It's easy. Pick a couple one and two seeds for your final four. Pick a couple 12 over 5 seeds and don't complain when the secretary who knows nothing about basketball and picks teams on colors or nicknames, wins the whole thing

    #6509 2 years ago
    Quoted from jesperpark:

I confess I've never filled out a bracket, don't follow basketball, and honestly don't know much of the rules.

I worked at a company of about 300+ employees. Everyone filled out a $10 bracket. The 30k winner literally knew nothing about basketball. She picked teams on their team names. Meanwhile I spent a week crunching numbers and finished around 100.

    #6510 2 years ago

Lol! It always goes that way! We ran a football pool at the casino for years! Same thing!

Regular season hockey is a bore. Once playoffs start, I'm sure you'll watch more. Best playoffs of the sports.

    Quoted from punkin:

    [quoted image]

It's college basketball playoff season over here. It's a big deal for betting purposes, since there are MANY games in a short period of time.
A full playoff schedule is a "bracket" and the time is referred to as March Madness. There are many betting pools set up for wagering on the whole playoff array.

I've noticed an uptick in the confessional thread lately, like something is about to happen. Almost apocalyptic.

    #6514 2 years ago

Here’s a possum that got stuck on our back deck table, and thought the floor was lava. I finally got the poor guy down, just as the thunderstorm started.

Notice how dexterous the tail is..Cute little guy, never attempt to pick one up for a hug

    #6516 2 years ago

Spent hours playing floor is lava with the granddaughters. It's easy when the beer fridge is next to the lounge.

Little bastards tend to cheat though, magic spells and shit.

I got bit hard by a dying racoon in the summer.
I was trying to re assure it while it was recovering from a massive tree jump trying to escape from my dog. Man I was really pissed at finley that day!

    Quoted from pinzrfun:

I confess i daydream about retiring every day now (will be 58 in June). Hoping to do it at 62 even if i dont pull benefits right away.
Seems like I've been 10 years behind my entire life. In my 30s I was barely settling down enough to call myself an adult. 40s were a blur.
Now on the back end of my 50s, my younger brother is retired, friends are starting to retire. Never really thought about it much until that happened, now it's like "wait a second...we can RETIRE?"

My plan was always to retire at 62 also, but out of the blue I decided to call it quits March 2021, the month before my 59th birthday. A year later, I've enjoyed the best year in quite some time. Very busy, very fun.

    #6521 2 years ago
    Quoted from LTG:

Did you have it checked for rabies ?
    LTG : )

If it happened this past summer, it's probably safe to assume no rabies. It only takes a couple weeks for it to run its course in humans.

But yeah, at the time of contact, definitely a good idea to get checked out for that.

    That does explain alot.

No Rabies. Deep puncture though..like 2.needles.

Just cheered a guy up no end.

Guy should be here next couple days so went looking for bits for him and found the topper i forgot i had up on the wall round the corner.

    He's a happy chappy. Bonus.

As awesome as Oktoberfest is, I confess Houdini was the opposite for us, and it is the only game I ever delivered for free to get it out of here.

Houdini is a very good looking game, and it has a whole lot of cool features, but the shots were just way too tight for us.

Ok, I have a real confession.

I hope this does not get me moderated.

I hope this does not get me kicked off of here or banned.

I confess the last 2 nights we did not play any pinball machines, or even any arcade games.

We played a board game, Up Words.

I really hope I do not get a whole lot of downvotes for confessing this, and permanently banned from here.

I do not know what I was thinking, and I can not promise that it will not happen again.

    #6528 2 years ago

I confess I think this confession is hilarious! I also confess I don’t get drunk very often but I have done it 2 days in a row! Today I finished the 3/4 bottle tonight and I’m hammered! TGIF!

I also confess I’ve started hitting beer! I also wish I could try natty! Heineken 2 in and Lovin life! I think I’m ordering some fillet o fish just to enter the FOF thread!

    Quoted from swampfire:

I've already started thinking about how many more pins I can set up when my son goes off to college. He's 14.

The kid is 23, and he’s back home again. Confess I’m glad he figured out college wasn’t his thing after 1 year. Confess I take his python out while he’s sleeping, and I socialize him. Good Snake.

After being super cautious about germs for the past 3 weeks, I held a flashlight in my mouth to do some playfield soldering today.

    Still do

    Quoted from Zartan:

I almost got caught onves with spitting cobras from the reptile show. We stuck them in aquarium tubes and we taped them to our legs

Confess the only thing I’ve smuggled on my leg is a few beers into a midnight movie. Was easier with parachute pants!

    #6536 2 years ago

Gonna hang back a while, but let’s have some “best of” pinball-related confessions. Playfields on fire, pinjuries, let’s go….search the history of this thread.

I still have the Gorbachev scar from when my friend Jeff’s Centaur came crashing down on my head while I was swapping it. Good times! Also I miss Gorby, he was a great Russian man.

Confess I still have some of those pants, but I have not worn them in years.

As far as movies, I used to cut the pocket out of a jacket, and I could fit a whole lot of beers in there between the inner lining and the outer part. (Walking distance, I did not drive).

    Quoted from Ryguy80:

I haven’t touched a pinball machine in 4 or 5 days now. I’m closer to banishment than you are.

I am at the 4-5 day point myself, sometimes it may get up to 14 days, but I can say even if I do not touch a pinball machine for a while, I still smile as I walk by them, and I am so glad that I have them.

    Life is good!

I hope all of you have a great weekend!

Hmm. Confess that when I was 16 in 1980 and I worked at the skating rink behind the skate counter, girls my age would beg me for quarters for pinball, and I’d tell them to help themselves to my pockets (uncut, but still). I confess that was pretty creepy, maybe even bordering on passive sexual assault, but I was a product of the times, so please don’t judge me.

    #6543 2 years ago

Those were the times! Our kids will never know the thrill of the stuff we did in our time. They record everything on snap chat and Instagram .

No joke! If my first 5 years of adulthood were on social media, I’d be in a gutter somewhere instead of being an “Engineer IV”. LOL!

[Also, if you’re my boss and reading this: back off or I’ll quit before I turn 62!!]

I’m also too drunk to be confessing @zartan, good for us.

    #6546 2 years ago

Lol! I haven’t been this drunk in a long time. The girlfriend is working tonight so I’m home alone. Yes. I think we are lucky our stuff wasn’t recorded.
