So, I am a huge fan of cocktails, and have been amazing them for a few years. I have a fully working C. Cruise and Night Moves, a Rotation 8 (not working yet, but hopefully will be), a few Game Plan machines, two Viza War machines, and a whole bunch of Allied Leisure machines (most not working but for parts, etc). Some of these pics are from when I picked games up or bought them, so the are dirty or still in the warehouse or whatever.

Quoted from Puffdanny:

Are the wars working?

One fully, the other in progress but should be.

I think War is fun. It def isnt amazing or anything, but it is a fun game for quick two player games. The two I have are slightly different, one has kickout holes on the playfield, and one doesnt. A few other minor differences. Right not my cocktails are in two places (my house and a space my friend is opening for pinball), but I will have them all at my friends place eventually for more people to see and play. I am up to about 20 of them now. And like 6 work..lol.

Here is a few of them at the place we are opening.

Nope, they dont really come apart. I mean, you could take the glass off, and then seperate the base from the playfield with a bunch of work, but it would be a pain in the a**.

And as someone who has a lot, I can tell you they are MUCH heavier then they look like they should be

Look guys, got all of mine in one place finally!

Always looking for more! And a cheap way to ship these too

Yeah I was trying to figure out a way to get those two. Shipping on these is literally 2 to 3 times what most are worth..lol.

Need more cocktails! Who has one to sell, or knows of any?

Quoted from Puffdanny:

Grabbed my second cocktail this weekend and from what I hear this is only one of a few that works

Dude, I REALLY want a Spectra. had one years ago, sold it without it ever working, but now that I really collect these, I NEED one!

If you would consider selling, PLEASE let me know!

#82 5 years ago

Another one added...not working, of course.

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

W-what on earth is THAT?! I’ve been obsessing over cocktails and have never heard of “Star Battle”

Its a Coffee-Mat. They made like two machines (this and Cosmic Battle or something like that). Entire cabinet is metal! I have had a few come and go, only seen one that was working, and sadly didnt snag it.

#87 5 years ago

Cool, I have three Night Moves and noticed one did not have the plastic ball guards at the apron. Never knew there were two versions. Any links to info about this or other trivia on these?

#94 5 years ago

One of the ones I have does not have the plexi apron guards at all. And no holes on the metal part to hold them either. I will snag a few pictures. I LED'd my nicest one, but no where to the level of that one above

Really want a Foxy lady

#111 5 years ago

New addition. Have never heard of this one so I had to buy it!

Yes it is the VA Beach one. And I don't know what gameplay is like, it isnt in working condition currently. Hopefully at some point it will be though. Probably gonna be lame gameplay though

But can't find anything online about it.

#116 5 years ago

I am sending pics for it to get listed. It is up there, but by another brand (Fantasy Games or something). Mine is Mirco.

#141 5 years ago

Finally got around to diving into these cocktails and trying to get some working ( I am clueless and useless, but I have friends who are not..lol).

The Disco '79 had a buyer before I could even email her...lol. On the lookout for more though!

Thanks everyone!

I wish I had seen this auction. I would have SO bought them!

#157 5 years ago

Yeah, crazy. They are cool and all, but not worth all that much to go thru the work of stealing them. And why only two? Lol.

Thats a good idea, going to do that to my CC.

Amazing score. I would have snagged those if I had seen them for sale.

Quoted from Hammerhead:

I think I've asked this before but I can't find the thread back . . .
Would Rotation VIII be a good game to grab? I know of one locally that can be had relatively cheap, but I wonder if the best part of the game is just the rotating pf and not the actual game play.

I have two of these, one kinda works. Other than the rotating, it is a pretty crappy game to be honest. But its weird and unique, which I like. Just looking inside the thing its amazing to me that it ever worked...lol.

Wahoo. Just picked up my 2nd Roy clark for 150. The kooktail pin collection is growing. 2 RC, 1 FL and 1 NM.
The night moves is here to stay. Super fun game.

I am at about 30 now...lol. And a few even work!

Just FYI, I am selling off a bunch of my cocktails (trying to buy a new house and need some extra $$). I have a few on Facebook in various pinball groups, including Working Valley Spectra 4, project Valley Spectra, Working Viza War and project Viza war, Working Star Shooter, Working Rotation VIII and a project Rotation VIII. Have a bunch of others I may list as well. Not currently parting any out. Do have a bunch of project machines though.

#453 3 years ago
Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

It better be gold plated and 100% working for that price sweet Jesus.

It is 100% working, even the sound. It sold in an hour--it was mine. They also bought the second project one I had too.

#456 3 years ago
Quoted from Friengineer:

Gotta Star Battle laying around?

Star Battle as in the Coffee-Mat? Yes. Project of course. It even has the riser to make it bar-table height.

#463 3 years ago
Quoted from Agent_Hero:

Which cocktail pins have drop targets?

I think most do. Star Shooter has the most I think-- Allied Leisure's last cocktail, and by far their most unique layout.

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Hearts and Spades is one of the rarest Allied Leisure cocktails, it is my personal favorite. It’s a ton of fun and has a lot to shoot for.

Star Shooter is the best one, IMO. I have a Heart Spades too, in fact I have about every one they made.

Quoted from Friengineer:

When the game you want comes up for sale twice but you missed it still
https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/ad/115472

I have a non-working one. But I do have the base for it that makes it bar-height too. And the base is all metal just like the cabinet.

#724 2 years ago
Quoted from ibuypinballs:

Score this last week. Home owner claims he purchased it new. Very possible judging on the condition land low play meter number. Functions perfect. Also came with the optional base to raise it up.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Once you hear the sound from that thing, you might wish it didn't work I have a non-working one currently, with the extra base as well. They have sounds that make fingernails on a chalk board seem nice. Unique games though, thats for sure.

#773 2 years ago
Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

That’s awesome! I’ve been looking for a base extender for my Night Moves. Any way to tell the difference between the Allies Leisure/Game Plan bases and the ones for the Gottlieb cocktails?

There were no extra bases for Night Moves and CC as far as I know. Only Allied Leisure had the extendable legs, and that was only on certain games (mostly the later ones). Coffee-Mat and Game Plan (and early Allied) you could buy a height extender for (basically a matching wood (or metal in the case of Coffee-Mat)).

Quoted from HydrogenHuman:

On facebook I saw there is a person in Frederick, MD that is going to sell over 20 different cocktail pins. All are projects and are either Allied Leisure or Game Plan.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/670146547615344/
Chuck a Luck is the one that was listed for $800.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

This is me. Sold a few but most are still available. if you are interested in anything let me know. NOT parting out at this point.

Quoted from KSUWildcatFan:

Helping a buddy out, I brought 7 (of the 8 he didn't bring with him when he moved) cocktail pins home to refurb/clean/sell (at least I think that's his plan):
Star Trip x1 (had to leave the parts machine, ran out of room)
Foxy Lady x2
Take Five
Circa 1933
Night Moves
Spectra IV
Guess my winter is pretty well spoken for...oof.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I have a spare top for a Valley Spectra, sadly I am in MD. Lol
