Loving the game so far. I also have the original battery pack still in the game. Its amazing to me it hasn't been replaced yet. I'm working on getting that replaced currently.
Ive looked through the manual, there is no way to set the machine to free play is there?
Quoted from luckycreature:New problem has developed. Game screen went blank, music stopped but flippers and lights still work. Any suggestions? [quoted image]
And this morning when I went downstairs it boots fine. Is it possible something is overheating and if so where should I start?
Quoted from gmkalos:I think you need to double check the 5v adjustment on the audio power supply it may be cranked down too low or too high. Too high your system will go into auto shut down mode. Also that battery on your mpu board may be done. At the very least you should remove it.
Yeah I’m getting that battery out of there ASAP. I’ll look into the 5v thanks
Also if I just remove the battery will the machine not function? I’m waiting on replacement but knowing my luck the battery will decide to start leaking this week before it gets here.
Quoted from gmkalos:It seems like your battery may be charging and that could pop it, I'd just yank it out the game should work fine without it in, it just won't remember all the high scores except for the 1st one and it will keep the play count.
Just to make sure we are talking about the box that says circuit guard? That’s the original battery correct? Just pop it off?

So it did have some leakage. Hired a tech to come do the change out and he cleaned the damage as best he could. So glad to get that battery out of there.
Question for night moves. When you light the Bonus (score 500k, light multiball, double score) how long do you have before it starts dropping to 200k, 150, 50,etc or is it not timed and more reliant on missing the shot and hitting something else?
Quoted from chippe01:If it’s on the bonus (red light is lit) you have to collect it before hitting 2 other switches. I’m not sure about the other values, but probably after hitting a certain number of switches it decreases. To get back to the bonus value you have to go through one of the lit R-O-C-K lanes when the value is at the lowest amount.
By the way, I find it much easier to go through the bonus loop from the left flipper. At least on my machine I cradle the ball in the left flipper and then shoot it. I get the loop every time.
Thanks. That's what I thought but its nice to know others experience is the same. Hitting that bonus shot without hitting a switch is tricking depending on which lane it comes down. And if you can hit the double your score near the end of a game it makes a big difference.
Hey Night Moves owners! NM just needs two more ratings to be in the Pinside 100 ratings list. If you own or have played a Night moves go rate it so we can see where it places.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Already down to #86 hurry and sell before it's knocked out
I'm not selling mine any time soon. I love hitting the bonus shot and the funky music.
My Caribbean cruise resides in our kitchen at the request of my fiancé. She decided to decorate it for Christmas.
Yikes. At least cover the glass!!!
Hey. Started having intermit issues with my Night moves bonus lane (in the upper right corner). Sometimes it will roll over the switch and work, and others it doesn't respond at all.
It never works during multiball(not sure if its supposed to).
Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting?
Picked this up today. Unfortunately it will need to be wall art or a coffee table as it has none of the boards and these are not available. Great looking playfield and those drop targets!! Maybe someone will need the playfield one day for a restore so happy to have it for now.

If everything is there except the boards please keep it intact, obviously you never know when something will pop up!
If you ever need to make room sell it to someone else who can hold onto it.
Yeah i grabbed it to preserve it. If someone contacts me in the future and i can help them i will. The playfield was just too nice to pass up even just being a lighted coffee table.
Quoted from vec-tor:Does it have the four side legs so that you can make it a standup?
Nope. But im thinking about installing some caster wheels underneath to make it a movable table.
Quoted from miracleman:The gentleman with the boardless Star Shooter has put it up for dale in the marketplace for $200

Yep. I did. Had some other things come in and it cant stay in the house. Open to trading for other items.
Quoted from Friengineer:Too bad, my buddy from Asheville just came for a visit two weeks ago. I would have had him bring this to me.
Have him grab it for the next visit
Quoted from alexmogil:Is 1200 an okay deal on a very pretty Night Moves?
I paid 1000 for mine. I enjoyed it for the year i had it. Good price if its in good shape and has battery replaced.
I missed out on this. I was second in line and the guy finally picked them up today. Hope he knows how rare they are considering pinside has them as never being produced. Ill add these pictures to the database just in case they never surface. Game looks cool. Viza Fabulos 50's
