You could put the words inside the outline of a pinball machine? The outline could be at a 45º degree angle to make it more interesting - maybe even put the flippers in there too. I really like the animation of the flippers!

You are going to have to live with this for a long time, and you want it to be 'special', so don't commit until you are really happy with the design.

I would rather see the flippers moving instead of the stars blinking.

I really like the Saturn thingy. Is that the pinball? Saturn could be animated by moving up every time the flippers move. Even better, just the ball part of Saturn without the word 'the' could move and it should be fairly reasonable price-wise.

Edit:

And you have options.

Option 1: Both flippers move and pinball moves up once, then twice.
Option 2: Right flipper moves and the pinball moves up and to the left. Then, next frame, left flipper moves and the pinball moves up and to the right.

I don't like Option 1. That's 'monkey flipping.' There will be no monkey flipping at the Claytor Arcade!

I know the Claytor's Arcade neon sign is expensive but it will be worth every penny.

When I win the lottery I will ask your guy to do a sign for Pecos' Palatial Pinball Parlour. He might be able to or want to retire after doing that one! "You can't win if you don't play", so that will be never!
