Folks, forgive the newbie question but search is not my friend on this one. Is there a summary somewhere about what the differences are between EA editions and the current factory models coming off the line? Put another way, if I have a chance to purchase an EA vs a NIB TBL, what would the differences be? (other than the EA label)
My hope is that once folks take actual money, it locks in the price
Stern's Jan 1 price increases are a PITA, but they aren't taking money for backorders from customers (although their distros may be)
The service FAQ is a great resource, and worth reading ahead of time. there is a section early on where Rens highlights some tools that you need for the machine (torx drivers and metric nut hollow point drivers IIRC). Add to that a plain colored towel to drape over the bowling alley every time you work on the underside (dropping parts into the bowling alley is extremely painful)
