Quoted from Rarehero:
Lebowski has to be thought of as an incredibly made "fan service" pinball. It's for hardcore Lebowski/Coen fans who are also pinheads. Only way you're seeing this on location is if the operator is a hardcore Lebowski fan as well. They might not get their ROI back, but it will attract attention to the location and they'll have a collectors item that should hold its value.
I'm not sure about that. There should be plenty of folks like me that are waiting on the sidelines to see how the game develops. You are correct, 10K is a lot and that's what I want to make sure the game is of the highest quality before purchasing. Also, don't underestimate the number of Lebowski fans. The movie has moved up to like #6 on the all-time comedy list. Finally, a lot of folks just like a quality pin and don't care about the theme. Unless you've heard something to the contrary, I would expect that this game will sell well.
