I claiming "fake news" on this.

there's no way the PotUS posted that. for one, it's a clear and concise tweet. second, aren't crepes and blintz part of his daily diet. I can't see him enforcing tariffs on his "comfort" foods

since I'm not and never was an EA, I don't feel that I'm owed any information

however, I would hope that some details of the out of court arrangement that barry made with ARA would be shared with all of the EAs (especially those that paid in full to DP). at a bare minimum, they should know what the terms were, and where the money generated by the 40 machines $12.5K ($500,000) went

eg.
on a per machine basis, $[x] went to ARA to settle the buy-out agreement, $[y] covers the shipping and insurance to CT/Nitro and $[z] is being set aside to attempt to get everything back up and running again to satisfy the outstanding EA obligations

and while I don't expect the EAs to receive any of that, this is what barry shoulddo if he ever wants to try and regain [some] of the respect from those that backed DP in the first place

I think that his catchphrase for 2019 is "taking being a d*ckhead to a new level"

while I don't have a horse in this race, I see this situation as the following:
barry has lost the trust in everyone that backed the project but have not received a machine (the EAs), and there is no way in hell he will ever vindicate himself until every last one of the EAs is compensated in full

while you can still choose to believe that he has every intention of making good on building and delivering the remaining 125+ machines to the EAs, he did not come across in the podcast with jonathan and martin as someone who was remorseful of their actions or 100% sincere about doing whatever it takes to accomplish this feat

that being said, it would be in his best interest that if he intends to continue own a stake in DP, to formally (and publicly) declare that he will:
- take absolutely no additional funds in pre-order money
- take no payments until games are ready to ship
- take no salary from DP until every last EA is compensated in full

so, by your logic he should sell TBL for say $9K and then foot all of the additional costs for medical expenses that he's attempting to help with simply so that you (or some other buyer) gets the pin at what you consider a reasonable price?

I'm working in the wrong country. where I'm at, we receive 6 company paid days off per year and max out at 3 years of personal time (vacation) no matter how long you've been with the company
