Sooooo, who wants to sell me their pre order?
Quoted from sd_tom:
Sad to see how old that thread is.. Hence, why we are whining about the production schedule.
Awesome. Thanks dude.
Quoted from colonel_caverne:
I don't care about this machine. Some of my friend already asked. The answer is:
"You can order a TBL via our authorized distributors Nitro Amusements (Canada) or Cointaker (USA). At this moment these are the only two distributors that sell TBL. If we will extend and have distributors in Europe, Asia/Australia and/or Afrika we will let you know via our website, Facebook and Newsletters"
Over the Line!!
This is a positive thread. So unless your negativity is for a paternity test, take it elsewhere dude!

Hey guys, just trying to get an idea on my machine. How many "Early Editions" were made? I'm #85 whatever that means but don't think I'm an early edition for obvious reason. However, I still get a rug just not a number and plaque.
Thanks for your help. I'm just trying to not bother Melissa too much.
I'm #125 EAE I thought I seen some where it was 200+ early achiever editions but could be off. I was also under the impression only early achievers got chrome and the rug. Some one care to chime in and clear up what I may be wrong on here?
Quoted from burningman:
no,...Jaap had an injury and Barry is not going to be able to attend. They sent out a quick note to the early pre-order group.
Thank goodness folks post those notes in one of the rooms. Since taking over an order, I don't seem to get the pre-order notes like the rest.
Hey folks, I'm in for #125 but don't seem to get the emails Barry and such sends out. I read about the recent board issues holding things up a bit, but has anybody been to the factory lately or have a better idea of how the production rate is coming along?
I'm an early achiever.
I in one hand get paying the extra 1k to get games going and also understand how that could come up to bite us in the end too.
Personally, I'm not willing to expend another 1k+ to get the game I have, not because I can't, but because I won't.
Sure I'm displeased with the situation overall (no production planned yet a new game release).
Am I the only one who thinks if you are not in on the game (early achiever or atleast a deposit with CT) maybe you should keep you opinion/suggestion to yourself as to whether WE buyers should fork over an extra 1k? You really have no skin in the game here.
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:
You are ignoring the high probability that ... the money's gone, Lebowski. What if statements by ARA are true and they are owed for previous games shipped plus these AND there are no funds? Now you would be one lucky Irishman to get yours shipped for $1k additional. The reality is more close to - $6k still owed for a prebuilt game plus the extra $1k plus $7k for someone else's game that shipped and which ARA wasn't paid. That's right, your share comes out to $14k to receive your game. I can see a lot of people balking at that price. Those pre-built games will likely never ship, imho. Put a fork in TBL, they're done.
All I see is lots of hyperbole and again, do you have any skin in this process? If not, save your .02 man
Quoted from CrazyLevi:
Are people still trying to get full value for their "spot" or are there any bargains to be had to go with the risk that comes with it?
Are you will to sell your "spot" for under face? I might roll the dice at the right price!
I had a handful of offers below the fence line whilst my game was up for sale. I didn't accept any nor have I heard of anyone willing to go below the fence. This is such a fluid situation so maybe someone will entertain it sooner or later.
Quoted from Rensh:
Can further confirm that the meeting ARA-DP is scheduled for this week.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for good news to start off the weekend with a few White Russians. Allthough I can imagine that ironing all things out take more time as just 1 meeting
So stay calm and realistic fellow dudes
Thanks for updating us and like you can confirm the meeting as well as I've spoken with Barry in the last few hours. I'm optimistic and look forward to productive discussion they will hopefully have.
Quoted from highdef:
How did the conversation with Barry go? I ask because it looked like you were dropping out. Either way, I'm glad to hear you're more optimistic after the discussion.
Actually, my game was up for sale before the shit show popped up in the last several weeks. It was kinda sold the day the news released, so I let the buyer back out. My reason for selling was only cause I'm changing careers and have some house projects I'd like to get completed, never had anything to do with what we all know today.
Conversation was simple and I'm remaining optimistic that this situation will be remedied in time is my feeling. But we will see how this weeks meeting goes soon enough.
I see this as momentum in a positive direction. Lets keep our fingers crossed it continues in that direction. I see this as a little victory in the battle, even though the war isn't over yet.
