I actually think it makes such a pristine game look dirty….
Quoted from Rensh:Which switches were it? Standup or roll over? Did you have to adjust multiple times?
I have gapped all of the stand up switches which were sticking closed. I don’t currently have the proper gapping tool (on order now) so I have had to do it multiple times on a couple. Also had to flatten out the wire form on the launch sensor switch and the upper playfield loop sensor switch which were both sticking closed. I have had to do it on my JJP games too so kinda comes with the territory.

The sculpted toilet scoop? I was thinking the same. It doesn’t fit with everything else in the design.
agreed

But having a blast playing my big Lebowski. Unfortunately, unfortunately no mirror blades came with the game. Any idea where I can order or find mirror blades. Thanks Tony.

I ordered these mirrored blades and they installed easily: https://cointaker.com/products/ballywms-remake-mirror-blades
Mirrored (resized).jpgQuoted from Rensh:Then, switches. It’s something I see remarked more and is a little bit puzzling for me. Need to get to the bottom of it. As mciroswitches we use original DB5 so they should be fine.

And yes, general consensus is also that after the breaking-in period it stabilizes.
Got my EA Lebowski earlier this week and finally got it into the basement. Super excited!
I’m also experiencing some switch issues in early play. On startup the right flipper had a stuck closed error. The opto isn’t registering properly. Unsurprisingly in play the right flipper flutters and sticks on occasion. Put a few games on it anyway and then had 5 total issues pop up and all were stuck closed stand up targets. 2 under White Russian, the right lock and the right Nihlist. I’ll be getting a switch gap tool as well but they are not holding the gaps
Dear all

For december productionEA’s are planned up to number 165.
Can you already give me your current shipping adress and phonenumber so we can check-update our records? Thanks.

So no Topper?
Dutch Pinball is actively developing forward-looking plans set to come to completion in 2024 and 2025. As a result, we anticipate that 2024 may mark the final year of The Big Lebowski Pinball production, leading to a limited production capacity.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that you promptly contact your distributor to secure a new TBL. For a list of our distributors, please visit https://www.dutchpinball.com/distributors. Each distributor has a specific allotment, and these are likely to be claimed quickly, so it's important not to delay.
While it's possible that this announcement serves as the final call for TBL orders, it's primarily a precautionary measure to ensure we can fulfill all TBL orders. Should additional production capacity become available, we may offer extra allotments to distributors.

I guess I spoke too soon.
I’ve got the right flipper getting stuck in the up position. I have confirmed it is a mechanical problem. Turned power off and flipper stays up.
If anyone has had this issue and has the correct way to fix. Let me know. Thanks
If power is off its a mechanical issue. Like the bracket is rubbing, the coil sleeve, etc. Lift up the playfield and move the flipper with your hand and you'll see whats sticking.

Check the vertical tolerance as well. There is should be vertical movement possible when trying to lift the flipper. Also, could be magnetic coilstop. In the service faq there is a section dedicated to this.
Received my Big Lebowski today! A little over 18 months from initial order:

Huge shout out to Melissa and Chris at Cointaker for the awesome Lebowski buying experience. Reading all the forum discussions/complaints can leave you a little worried but my experience was nothing short of excellent!! Great communication throughout and received my Lebowski exactly when I expected and even better right before Xmas.
To top that off Melissa and Chris gave me and my buddy a full tour of the cointaker facilities, tokens to play some pins, and Melissa made us lunch . I even got to play Labyrinth Can’t thank them enough for a cool day and looking forward to my next purchase.
IMG_2950 (resized).jpegIMG_2952 (resized).jpegIMG_6627 (resized).jpegIMG_6636 (resized).jpegBeen really patient throughout the process but having the same experience that DVDA had. Originally told 10 months. Fine with it taking longer. Then told no later than November 17th (15 months), fine with the delay. Month later and no update. Then told it’s cleared customs and was shipping. Multiple follow up emails to Melissa a week and a half later going unanswered.
No biggie waiting but never seen such lackluster communication and organization from a distro like cointaker before
