Quoted from Concretehardt:

Question for you, I know in the past the straps that hold the back box to the cabinet were so tight that it actually made an indentation into the artwork on the back box is that still the case?

That was the case for me when I received mine about 6 weeks ago. I was told to run a hair-dryer on it carefully but haven't done that yet. My machine is in the standard lineup arrangement so I don't see or notice it

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one of these. I will report back in 2 years when I receive it

#13853 2 years ago

My head was very tightly secured with the straps. No damage to the art decals but the chrome side rails are both dented pretty extremely from where the head sat. Luckily the glass didn't break but the rails are damaged. I sent a note to Dutch Pinball/Cointaker and I am sure that new rails will be sent out. Otherwise the Dude arrived to Florida nicely.

Quoted from TomDK:

Looks very nice, but you should place some paper as a diffusor between LED and the Stars. The LED is very massiv. Nice work !

Thank you for the feedback. I am gonna be putting another think piece of white plexiglass to dim a little. Even if I dim the lights, it looks bright but in person not bad at all.

Hard to judge without seeing it in person, but I agree that "less is more" when it comes to twinkling star effects.

Today, March 11 2022, is my one year anniversary for when I put a deposit down.

Still haven't been asked to pay in full, still no invoice, fyi.

I had the same issue, they are supposed to be sending me out replacements.

Me too. I was told I would be getting the replacement rails once the next batch of games shipped to the U.S.

Not sure why they crank the strap so tight, maybe Rensh could touch bases with Barry on this issue.

Barry is aware. He thinks it’s caused during transport that tbl is hit sideways and backbox moves. I suggested him to do the straps Stern style, eg over the LENGTH of the pinball, not the width. He is considering this.

Maybe just better padding between the backbox and the rails? The backbox should be tight no matter which way the straps go, you just need a wider/softer point of contact with the rails.

There is a Lebowski themed bar in Reykjavik, Iceland and was fortunate enough to celebrate my birthday there this evening… unfortunately no pinball, but plenty of White Russians!72BE56CB-7570-4B17-B6E9-E569E7C38559 (resized).jpeg72BE56CB-7570-4B17-B6E9-E569E7C38559 (resized).jpeg

What forms of payment do they accept to pay invoice? Visa?

#13878 2 years ago
Quoted from cpr9999:

What forms of payment do they accept to pay invoice? Visa?

No. There were four options but credit card was not one of them. And they were all similar, something like direct deposit from the checking account, direct deposit from your savings account, etc.

I had to supply a banking and routing number.

Quoted from cpr9999:

What forms of payment do they accept to pay invoice? Visa?

It turns out I had the tab still open. These were the options.

Doesn't that trigger IRS reporting requirements for them? Cash transactions over $10k....

I used to work in this field, and I don't understand your concern here. The purpose of reporting is to look for unlawful activity.

Not a concern really. Just occurred to me that it triggers reporting paperwork on their end if I am not mistaken. Wasn't really an issue until machine prices started ratcheting up in the last few years.

I was not prepared to not be able to pay with a card. Had to write a no interest 1 year check to myself from a credit card lol. I told myself I was gonna sell another pin to pay for it but I cant bring myself to sell anything yet.

#13889 2 years ago
Quoted from Spelunk71:

It’s not like this is one private person selling to another private person. They are a business. They are going to report all their sales themselves on their financials and file business taxes.

#13890 2 years ago

I wrote Melissa about credit card payment and just got a reply. She said credit cards are accepted but there is a 3% fee added. Just let her know and she will add it to the invoice.

Rensh

Every once in a while, when a batch of games is ready to go out, you are able to post a picture or two and comment on any EA additions too.

Any updates on any of the next batch?

As follows: EA 77&79 are now in transport to the US. On productionline being built now are EA80+81

#13898 2 years ago

Just ordered my TBL. Thinking winter 2023!

#13899 2 years ago

So they are making Lebowskis for at least the next 13 months. How long will they be made? Guess as long as there are new orders coming in?

#13900 2 years ago

They’ve got a large backlog to get through, with just the EAs alone. I’m at 5 months now, myself.
