Do the sound effects in the game have a ton of noise and static in them? Or is the sound system in my game having issues?

Quoted from Rensh:I also think a final wizzard mode is almost unachievable, at least for me. I would prefer more smaller things to do, make nihilist wizzard more attractive, program extra ball, have a Bunny mode, etc (I made a spreadsheet which everyone can see as I shared it earlier). So spent time on things us human beings can enjoy and not only the few pinball gods on this planet.
I agree with your priority and ideas.

Anyone else have issues with the upper pf red switches bouncing?
My game always seemed to have car mode ready...
This is what I'm referring to...

I'm trying to 'adjust' both of the leaf switches but they aren't very easy to access...
Quoted from Robertstone0407:I will say sometimes it will not let you cancel character multiball does anyone know why?
If Mark it Zero is lit, you are suggesting there might be a bug?
Quoted from Rensh:So I visited today DP to return some work I did from them at home.
Talked about the bowling launch button which they had at the very first prototype. Turned out barry had one lying around which I got as a present. Installed at my TBL and looks indeed amazing.
Some pictures to show you how it’s made. Simple to install. Took less than 10 minutes and is indeed just a matter of replacing the lense.
Wow, that looks great and better than I expected. Did they explain why it wasn't shipped with the game? Style preference or manufacturing issue or gameplay/reliability issue?

Video blocked for copyright... Whew, close one. Just imagine the possible lost revenues to UMPG publishing from that video.
Quoted from delt31:Everything works on my end. Bought a backup rug part just in case though.
Heist looks cool but it's a whole other platform in which every game I've played on it is not enjoyable. Heist is def moving it in the right direction though.
I've had a few minor issues (bad switch, noisy audio board, and bad opto in lower playfield).
If it were easy/fast to get repair parts, the situation would be less annoying. And the bad opto kinda breaks the game unfortunately.
Am hoping to receive a care package from Barry soon.
That said, I think the QA on my game was fairly good and my issues would've been harder to catch and may have been impacted by shipping. My JJP POTC was in worse NIB shape.
Quoted from cpr9999:Me 2. Will see if DP holds to the end of the 2020 year to go to code v1.0. I remember hearing that somewhere??
Specifically, I'd just like the experience built-out a bit more with less repetition, more side-characters, specific character modes, a few mini wizard modes and the final wizard mode. As-is, the game is amazing and the current code is fun, easy to understand, and well designed. But the game would really benefit from 'more' stuff and depth.
Quoted from dts:My understanding is that he is simply busy at another job and Barry is trying to get him back on board.
This seems like a good game to open source with DP's lead coder maintaining control of his main-branch.
Various new upgraded parts were mentioned in latest Dutch pinball newsletter. Any word on availability? I need a few of them to fix my game.
Quoted from kapper:Rensh:
How about replacement stand up targets (lock targets)
I have the same issue. The metal backing for my red standup targets are too thin so they bounce. Barry was waiting for new/improved switches and they were mentioned in the last mailing. It's the last thing keeping my game from working properly (I think).
Quoted from waldo34:I'll post a picture but I think the 20 pin connector.
Thanks, didn't know I could order the light apron now.
How much is the Apron?
Quoted from Joost996me:My TBL is a few days old and already see some ballmarks/minor scratches on the glass covering the bowling alley. Do I need to protect the glass with an adhesive or protector? Or wont this be a problem? Is the glass replaceable anyway?
thx!
Glass (plastic) is replaceable. Swapping the balls often and putting mylar inside the subway (seems to scratch the pinballs) could help.
Quoted from Rensh:Dear TBL owner,
DP has released the long awaited new Linux version for the TBL and has been shipping it during the last few weeks.
Why is it long-awaited? What benefits does this bring?
Quoted from Rensh:There were several people strong the old version of Linux has outdated drivers etc and it could run into issues.
This new version Linux was announced some time ago hence my remark the long awaited ….
Also the new TBLs have a new PC and DP wanted to make sure the drivers would not cause an issue.
If your tbl is running fine there is no real need for this. Just wanted to keep current owners informed and give them the opportunity. There are people out there who always want latest version hence the offered opportunity here. If your tbl is running fine just lease it as is. There is a reason I stated this is NOT mandantory with not in capital letters.
Thanks for the explanation. I suppose I'll wait until there is a problem with my setup (wifi someday?). But seriously, the new linux image should be made available with basic instructions that also says 'no support'. And for those who aren't as familiar with linux PCs, offering the SSD is quite nice.
Quoted from insight75:I do have the actual songs in mine and I absolutely love it. Having said this......I am wondering if there could be additional songs added that would play randomly to change it up. I feel like there are not enough songs and you hear the same ones over and over. Would love 5 or 6 more songs that play randomly.
I agree! I also wish the game included a jukebox feature where users could load an additional set of music tracks for variety.
Quoted from Ollulanus:Nice thing about metric, you can get anodized parts in whatever color you like cheap on Amazon. Quick and easy customization, nice look for like $5 IMO

Ooooh, that looks good. Please share store-links/size-specs when possible.
