Wow, really bummed at how this all played out. I have not been on pinside for more than two months and all I can say is that Pinmike has been the most helpful when I have had problems so far. Really a shame if you go man.

As a forum admin on a 7.5k member guitar site, I've seen countless "taking my ball and going home" posts but this one is just plain odd. Pinside sure has changed in the last couple of months.

imo,pinmike has every right to the pins if that is what he wants. it sounds to me like he was just checking things out so the rest of us could see whats in the box so to speak.we all want to know what pins are hidden in that warehouse. what ever you decide pinmike,i wish you well.

I hope pinmike stays. He has helped a lot of people with their issues and being that I am T minus 9 hours before my first pin, I would appreciate his future help for my anticipated problems.

3)-Google maps,Satellite view/Street view-Anybody know some approximate real co-ordinates in Where the Red Fern Grows-I mean Shreveport.

I'm really confused at what this is all about... Pinmike seems upset, and after what some people have said, I can understand it... but he seems upset at Pinside in general... but I don't see Pinside putting him down... Mike, if you still here, I'm 100% sure there are way way more people who respect and appreciate you than the minority who don't... the only person who seems against you is someone who clerly walked away from a deal, and is upset merely at his ASSUMPTION that you'd stolen what he'd left behind... and I get that he too may be acting out of character after going thorugh an life threatening ordeal...

It all seems like a lot of fuss about nothing, and even though I have no idea who Pinmike is, I'm sure he's a good guy from what I know... and it would be a real shame if he decided to leave... read the posts Mike, who is against you? Why are you upset? Are you upset? Did you see the old man's pins? Are they still in Bottom Boy country?

I went thru the thread twice and I still can't see where anyone was dissin on pinmike. If you're considering ppl calling possible BS on the (still) dubious reports of hood rats keeping ppl away from cache of pins that haven't seen the light of day in years as a personal slight, you might grow a skin as thick as the cajones are big. After all, the greatest revenge is success. Once you have pics of you gathering them up with the help of a bunch of bandanna wearin brothas pickin up the other end, you will indeed have the last laugh. Otherwise, it’s a bit like getting upset because someone called BS on you saying you saw big foot swimming in the gulf.

So did anyone actually get the pins or are they still sitting in the same spot? I was looking forward to seeng pics but never posted by Pinmike.

Wow, I just read through this. Pinmike you must stay we will not let go of ya! Your generosity to this forum is top shelf. I can't imagine pinside without you. Pinmike generosity to the project pin to Robin fund has been OVER THE TOP! I hope you stick around pal.

Completely agree with CG, everyone should take a step back and realize we are all wanting the same result.....rescue the pins and get them to homes where they will be loved and enjoyed! The relationship of pinmike and silverman is something you guys will have to work out but dont leave because of a disagreement with one member! If you end up leaving it will leave a big hole in the pinside family!

Now this is only speculation but from what I gathered from his post is that he actually went down to help Silverman. I betcha Mike would have given em first crack at the pins he was intending to free. And instead he got slammed, I'd be choked too. Look at his rep.

I think this one should just be let go of. Move on. I would never believe Mike was gonna take a deal away from someone. If you guys knew some of the emails I have had with him over Robins fund. Never would I believe it.

I don't know Mike other than contact through here and another forum. I've been on the receiving end of his generosity twice. If anything I think he had generosity in mind when going to look at the games. That is the modus operandi he has always displayed, both publicly on the forum and in my private dealings with him.

I will say 2 things about this, First, pinball mike should of said something to silverman about the enviroment he was entering...Pinballmike said "You should of asked", sorry that holds no weight if you care about somebody, if it were your sister, you would of cautioned her....

Next, even after he heard the horrific events that transpired, (which he did), he should contacted silverman, and said he was going in for the both of them, or silverman could of said to him, "Man, go in there if you want, I dont any part of it"...either way, pinball mike is out of line here in imo...

LOL not like its a one run game or anything...

Sorry man, I gotta say this. Mike clearly asked you on the first page of this ridiculous thread that the next time you wanted to go down there he would make it happen safely, to which you clearly replied NO WAY! I mean it's there in black and white. You even offered Robertmee the address if he was interested because you were not anymore. Then you got upset because Mike went without you and took some pictures?

Not taking sides, cuz Mike seemed to be razzing you early on as well, and he seemed to let the discussion get out of hand before he finally replied, but enough is enough.

Nobody does, and I'm sorry if he is doing this to you. It just seems out of character for him to be this way, judging by his past here.
