Quoted from tamoore:Tell me all the times in manufacturing history a company trying to create a collectable market has actually succeeded in creating a collectable market?
It almost never works that way.
Collectables become collectable. They don't start out that way.

Quoted from ZMeny:Hoosiers gotta stick together fellas. All you need is Love.
That's another thread you are thinking about, but if you read too many they start to look the same...

Quoted from CrazyLevi:Hey, I'd like to throw out there that if ANY distros (sorry guys, my big city NYC alpha male life is just so damn happening I got no time to type out "distributors" in full) want to sell me a Beatles - ANY VERSION - for the 2002 regular Stern pro pricing of around $3,800, I'm in. If you want to reach out, you know how to find me. Willing to sign NDA and not disclose price or your info so nobody gets in trouble with big papa.
I have games for possible trade or straight cash.
Who was paying $3800 in 2002? That is crazy, now that has NDA has expired, my "guy" was selling for $3500!
Quoted from ZMeny:Some real-life pics to better capture what it looks like. Looks damn good to me[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Just let me know when you plan to get yours, so I can make sure to have money a month later to buy it. Thanks.
Quoted from Whysnow:Not good! In fact, the worst I have seen to date for Stern.
Three machines I have personally see so far. I actually am yet to see a single Beatles with more than 400 plays that does not have this issue appear.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
It was being played non-stop last night at Logan's when I was there, so I didn't ask about audits but let's say 2000 which I imagine is low.

We put ~2500 plays on ours at home, and ours were getting pretty bad, but not that bad. I replaced the original rubbers with Titan competition silicone, and it looks and plays well. I bought ~1 extra for each size, and still paid only $25 for white rings. 4 red flipper rubbers were ~$6 at Titan. Installing on Beatles was straightforward since there are no ramps.[quoted image][quoted image]
2500+ at home, nice job! I was told after the post probably 6000+ plays, but my point wasn't as much about the plays as it was the playfield post area. They do a very good job of maintaining their machines, they show dirty but were still playing good!
