Quoted from DS_Nadine:How do you come to this conclusion, with the video showing art blades and a "diamond Edition" plaque & sticker?
When you are a distributor and you talk to the manufacturer.
All versions will have a standard coindoor. The press release photo was taken before the finalized product was approved.
Something too to consider.
Half of the production will most likely export out of the country so we’ve been told.
Thus leaving only 50 Diamonds, 125 Platniums and 807 Gold Editions here in the US.
I’m looking forward to playing it simply because I’ve always loved Seawitch. Rip the tide baby!
Just to clarify.
MAP is $7999 for Gold. Anyone stating any less is stating a number that is incorrect and
potentially in violation with Stern.
just sayin'...
I can't state this enough.
I know many on here are complaining about the game, complaining about the price, complaining about the basic layout.
Heck I can't think of a better classic Stern to rehash into a new game than the layout of Seawitch. It is my personal favorite classic
Stern. The spinners...multiple drop target banks and the big loop/orbit around the back make Seawitch stand on its own.
Stern's target audience for this pinball is NOT pinside...it's The Beatles fans and their are millions of them world wide. Same
goes with Supreme...their target audience was fans of the name brand Supreme and we see what happened with that game in a mere seconds
when it was launched. Now would Stern be happy that some of y'all purchased this game, of course. But that is not who this
game was designed for.
This game was designed INTENTIONALLY with a more simplistic easy to understand playfield that anyone that
is not a die hard pinball player can walk up and easily understand what the objectives are after launching a couple of balls.
MANY of our walk in customer are NOT die hard pinball collectors, they are purchasing their first pinball machine and haven't played a pinball in 20-30 years
and many think the games with ramps and modes are overly complicated. If this is Stern's way of bringing old timers back into the pinball realm by
playing a brand new game...that plays like an oldie, this is great for pinball in general.
I'm not trying to hype or pump this game. Although I will say I'm looking forward to seeing and playing it. I'm just trying
to put some perspective on who the target market is for this title. Time will tell of course. And I will say I've already had
some calls from non-pinball people that have heard about the game and have reached out to us in regards to all tier levels of the game.
Well surprised as it may seem I sold our Diamond today for an undisclosed amount. Let’s just say it’s inline For the amount that has been discussed and we’ll leave it at that. I’ve had several inquired for the title and have 2 golds sold as well. These games have not sold to Pinball collectors, but to Beatles fans that have been trying to source the pinball.
As to why the game isn’t on anyone’s website or Kapows, simply...it’s not Nov 6th yet.
I had a teaser listing for all three models on our site that was originally ok from Stern but was later asked to be pulled as well due to license agreement. Games will be listed online tomorrow from most all retailers as well I’m sure on Stern & Kapow as well.
I’m looking forward to playing it as well as I’m a huge Beatles fan. I took my wife to see the awesome Beatles tribute RAIN this past spring. It was an amazing show and I highly recommend it if you are a Beatles fan. The Beatles were before my time, so it was great to experience a band that I would have never been able to. Big day tomorrow.
Game looks like a blast. LCD animations looks very impressive.
Man I can’t wait to play this.
I think a Gold is going to have to make its way to my house for sure.
Getting pumped up for the game, Yesterday I took a road trip and listened to the following albums front to back.
Hard Days Night
Help
White Album
Abbey Road
Let it Be
Guy on the left. Doesn't understand the concept that the ball is automatically served up and keeps adding a player after each ball. It starts off as a 1 player game but he turns it into a 4 player game after each ball is played.
SMH
Glad to read the attitude change on Beatles Iceman.
I too am seriously considering pulling one Gold back for me Casa.
Although I’m 45, I’ve been a strong Beatles fan since my early 20’s. I’ve always preferred Rubber Soul onward but after seeing the game play and LCD integration. I’m sold on it as well.
I gotta say something in all seriousness.
And this is a reason so many GOOD people have left this site over the years.
The dogpiling, the negativity. Say what you want and hide behind an avatar.
Thus why you will most likely never see again another post by a designer or manufacturer ever again. They've been
chased off. Truly ashame. As they were here when Pinside began.
The same people that are in every Beatles thread commenting:
...this game isn't for them
....is too expensive
.... looks just like Seawitch
....I'm not a fan of the Beatles
continue to post in EVERY Beatles thread.
Seriously, Have you nothing better to do than to obsess about a game that you have clearly stated you will never own in your collection for
one reason or another?
If what I said offends you...we'll then you are probably one of the one's I'm referring too...without naming names.
As for myself. Yes, I'm a distributor..yes, I'm selling the Beatles Pinball.
I am truly excited about this game. I'm a huge Beatles fan..and that's not just hyping the game.
Although I've enjoyed owning Metallica and Iron Maiden, both games are bad ass fun. However I can honestly say I've never owned any of those bands albums.
Beatles on the other hand, I've been a huge fan of since my teens and I'm now 45.
I've got just about every Beatles album on either CD or vinyl.
and this is truly a dream theme for me. Do I wish it spanned their entire library, sure I do. But I'm sure for whatever reason
that wasn't possible.
Anyhow...I'm looking forward to the game myself and I can't wait to they start shipping so that I can get some play time on it.
Most likely going to take a Gold home for the casa.
I've had this poster hanging in my office for years now.

Sorry y'all I have no pictures to share.
We were shown the topper during a webinar presented by Stern to its distributors.
It was asked of all those participating in the webinar to not take screenshots.
As stated above it ties in very well with the overall look of the machine.
I'm sure Stern will make a formal announcement with pricing, pics, etc. about the toppers soon enough as the design
has already been completed.
ASOA I thought you were a Stern distributor too?
A little alone time tonight at home with the Beatles. trying to figure this thing out
Unboxed it last night right before our Poker Party we hosted started. Didn’t get to play it much last night. My wife was knocked out of the tourney early and got sometime on The Beatles. Everyone seemed to like it.

Haha! You noticed that , good eye.
We’ve had that “Major Award” for a few years now.
Blake exclaimed "yeah a statue" as the soft glow of Electric Sex gleamed out our window to passers by up and down Aspenwood Trail

One thing I find innovative on this machine (Beatles)
and I don’t know if it’s been mentioned before.
Opto Spinners!
Does any other Stern have these? Or is Beatles a first? Seriously it’s of the most gratifying shots I’ve enjoyed most recently in pinball. Especially the spinner to the left of the pop bumpers.
RRRRIIIIPPPPP!
Anybody else played Beatles and notice the ripping of the spinners badass?
Quoted from snaroff:Wonky right spinner hinge that doesn't clear the ball (right spinner clears fine).
Will result in wedges, clunky misses, and damage to the hinge/spinner.
Anyone else have this issue? Maybe there are adjustments to raise the hinge?

Have you tried bending the bracket up towards the right ever so slightly? Looks like it’s hanfing ever so slightly down towards the left.
To help with your study of who is buying. Here are some facts on my end to add to your stats.
I’ve sold 7 Beatles so far.
1 Diamond, 1 Platinum and 5 Gold.
None of my buyers have seen or heard of Pinside, I’m pretty sure of that. With the exception of 1 buyer, this is their first pinball purchase.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s a Rock n’ Roll themed pin of a band that has never been more well deserving of a pinball in decades. Complaints about its price now....wait until its sold out everywhere and out of production. Due to its fun game play..I definitely see this pin attaining it’s value over time.
Kudos to those that have already bought one. You purchased one while they were still affordable.
That post was not meant to drum up sales. I don’t need to. My Other Platinum looks to be sold this week. The game is selling well on its own.
Keep it up Hilton.
The constant jabs at everything I post are really getting old and just further shows you to be a troll.
I’ve had you blocked but, it’s ironic after every post I make I can see a blocked post moments later.
Are you coming to TPF? Man I hope so. I can’t wait to meet you in person. Can’t hide behind a keyboard in Texas.
Quoted from JoinTheCirqus:Sounds like you’re asking for a confrontation. Can’t imagine that helping the situation.
It probably doesn’t.
There just comes a point enough is enough.
I’ve tried blocking him and he is the only person I’ve blocked it’s ironic that after every post I make, shortly there after I see below my post “blocked user post”.
The fact is I really don’t know the guy. I’ve never met him.
But it’s a bit annoying that no matter what thread I post in, he will follow up with some sort of belittling comment. It’s weird it’s like he is stalking me...kinda creepy. Perhaps way too much time on his hands on pinside perhaps? who knows.
I’ve requested the assistance of the moderatation team to no avail. Basically he knows how to play the system and walkthat five line of not being banned.
It’s unfortunate because it’s people like him that have polluted this site with toxicity and have chased off many of the pinball veterans, manufacturers, game designers, etc.
I too was thinking highly of investing a lot into this site for advertising...but the more I think about it...I’m more so weighing heavily on permanently deleting my account.
I was merely giving my sales perspective on this title and was insulted...yet again
Quoted from snaroff:Your perspective was useful and interesting. Random insults from random people are meaningless. That's the problem with social media, people convince themselves that all voices are equal (which isn't true). Some of us have way more experience and wisdom than others. The folks that bully/attack are seeking attention. Try ignoring them...I know it's tough
I appreciate that snaroff. Thank you.
He was baiting me for sales figures on other titles. Perhaps one needs to understand as a distributor, I’m not at liberty to say if a title that is readily available is under performing in sales as that could effect future sales of that title. That is a fine line that I have to walk as well.
Simply put sales of Beatles are doing fine for the time frame since it’s release, there are other titles that have been out longer that haven’t performed as well sales wise. However I’m not at liberty to say which titles those are. Please note I’m not stating this is specific to Stern, as we represent several other manufacturers.
I will say my best selling Stern title ever has been Ghostbusters. I could not keep any of that game in stock. I have sold a TON of those. I wish it wasn’t out of production as it’s a great family theme and that machine sold itself to new 1st time pinball buyers. On the flip side, I totally understand you can’t produce a game forever and out with the old, in with the new. Munsters sales of all models are performing very well. I can only hope that Munsters, over time, does as well for us as Ghostbusters did.
Quoted from cooked71:OMG, Beatlemania!!!
“This is your ol’ pal Cousin Brucie and Beatlemania is sweeping the nation”
I’ve just been given word of a last minute sale on The Beatles Gold Texas Pinball Festival Demo Games if someone is interested in picking one of these up. Only 2 available at this great price! Contact me via PM or at the store for details.
