Quoted from dgpinball:Just setup and played a Gold, about what I expected really, not a lot of bad things to say about it, and would consider it a decent value if it was $4K
I'll just leave it at that.

Quoted from ASOA:This game is extremely fun. Very addictive. So happy it's in my line up. Iconic theme and great game play. Hard not to smile when playing this game.
Really? I had no problem keeping my smile in check when playing it..
Quoted from jamesdeloris:As a proud owner of a Beatles Gold I must say that I will be surprised if very many of these come up for sale in the coming months and years. I have bought and sold a lot of pins in the past several years but I do believe this one is a keeper.
Every owner with a new pin purchase says this (myself included), I can’t remember the last time someone posted “I just purchased XXX and I must say it totally blows”. Only time will tell.
Quoted from Budman:Is it in the realm of possibility that in the near future we see a “ Sgt Peppers” version with all of the modern day ramps, habitrails etc? Or was this their one shot at the Beatles license?
Won’t happen, they blew their Beatles “wad” on this one unfortunately.
Quoted from snaroff:Is this because:
- Beatles fans don't have the cash?
- Beatles fans think pinball is for losers?
- Beatles fans have no clue a Beatles pinball was produced?
Most pinheads I know that have played it love it.
If you are correct, I think it's just a slow start out-of-the-gate (hasn't been out all that long).
I have no doubt Stern will build/sell the entire run of 1964 games.
My smaller group of 12 pinheads, all of which have put at least a dozen games on some local Beatles pins on location. So I took a poll:
4 liked playing it but thought the price was too high for what you get
1 liked playing it and is interested in purchasing one
7 didn’t care for it
FWIW...
Quoted from snaroff:Interesting...thanks for posting.
I remember when IM was released...many folks complained it was bare bones and therefore too expensive. Ended up being a very popular game...
fwiw, my knee jerk reaction to both IM and Beatles was "meh" but I still took the plunge. I'm not a fan of evaluating games on location...most location games play awful and it's impossible to hear the callouts and/or music. If you can't hear Beatles audio during gameplay, it would detract from the experience big time.
That’s a good point, I’d like to play it in a home setting as well...
Quoted from jamesdeloris:If Stern does come out with a more up-dated (music wise) version of "The Beatles" then I will probably buy it. I'm sure there will be thousands of words bitching about it being over priced.
Another one?? Good lord..
Quoted from hassellcastle:Keep it up Hilton.
The constant jabs at everything I post are really getting old and just further shows you to be a troll.
I’ve had you blocked but, it’s ironic after every post I make I can see a blocked post moments later.
Are you coming to TPF? Man I hope so. I can’t wait to meet you in person. Can’t hide behind a keyboard in Texas.
Sounds like you’re asking for a confrontation. Can’t imagine that helping the situation.
Quoted from cottonm4:There are 3 new wish listers and one more was added to the Public Locations.
Slow news day
[quoted image]
I take it we can look to you to post this every single day?
Quoted from Whysnow:Pretty sure those are COMBINED premium and LE number your are quoting...
This.
