Still love the music, but not for playing pinball.
I would like it if they are gonne do a DJ pin. Or themed like Tomorrowland, or Mysteryland. Big techno festivals. With cities, lots of dj's and good housemusic.

Quoted from TheLaw:If you take away all the horrible McCartney songs, and all that boyband early shit no one has listened to for the last 50 years, the have a small but decent catalog.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Because of your grey hair?
Ha Ha Ha! I wish I had hair!
The Beatles were before my time, I'm just lucky enough to have hair loss early in life.
I was actually referring to this:
tsb (resized).jpgI want to acknowledge:
Since G. Gomez said we'll see a game heavily influenced by him at the beginning of next year, looking at Batman 66 and that Kaminkow (when only by himself) produced only 'mediocre' (to put it very slighly) games we can be 100% assured:
BEATLES WILL BE A GOMEZ GAME!!!
Honestly I can't imagine anything about his game, but I love my JM and the Beatles so pleaz, tell me more.
Quoted from spfxted:There are The Beatles......and then....
...all other bands...
I’m with ya Ted. Some people just don’t get it.
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:I’m with ya Ted. Some people just don’t get it.
I'm one of those people. I don't get it, but then again, I'm not a teenaged girl from the 60s...
I certainly respect them, they just don't get my heart pumping or elicit strong emotions from me. I'd guess the pin wouldn't either in terms of audio/visual.
Glad it's there for you guys and gals though..

You’d be fine except for the teenage girl comment. That just exposes you. And nobody gives a shit if you don’t get it.
Gonna have to keep it "classic" with the money spent on the license, it's going to be SUPER $X$pensive, unless they are just going with one Beatle. Most location digital jukeboxes don't even have any songs from the group as a whole because of this. Least not in the U.S.
I'd be happy with the "the bootles II, the adventures of the red submarine" , and let people upload their own beatles songs, if possible since it seems like everyone does that anyway. That way more could be put into the game.
Curious to see what they come up with, if it's a fun game I'd consider it.

Must be a "Texas thing" as digital jukeboxes in NY/NJ/CT all have plenty of Beatles....
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:This bears repeating, in response to TheLaw ...
We get it, you're super old; congrats on still being alive.
I'll give McCarteny Eleanor Rigby, and of course half of Day in the Life.
SGT peppers aint bad and that's one I hadn't accounted for, and I'll throw in little help from friends.
The rest of everything he's ever made is just blah, meh, or whatever boring word you wan't to use. So 4.5 out on that many albums... I think Harrison has more; And of course Lennon is a master, no argument there.

What Lennon songs impressed you?
How about Paul telling everyone yesterday that he and Lennon (plus 3 other guys) used to sit around and masturbate together in a circle?
Calling out names while they did it.
[cue Come Together jokes in 3...2....1...]

Quoted from Methos:What Lennon songs impressed you?
Many; just such a dynamic writer; eXpecially when compared to the old ho hum everyday man McCartney stuff.
Anything from Norwegian Wood to all of his Sgt Pepper, his Abby rd stuff is good.
Quoted from spfxted:digital jukeboxes in NY/NJ/CT all have plenty of Beatles....
I was actually in Austin and checked out a touch tunes and I'll be damned they had the beatles….
I've only ever seen songs from maybe one or two, but never as a group.
they don't have them on the AMI network.
though it only happened in the last 6 years.

Lol dude. Scoreboard. Just scoreboard.

Mod? Heck that thing is probably already on it. It meets the criteria, off the shelf and under a dollar, lol.

Besides Come Together, what material on Abbey Road is good?
Something, Here comes the sun, I want you, Oh Darling, She came in through the bathroom window, You never give me your money, Golden Slumbers, The End
You're kidding right? How about every song! One of the best albums of all time. Guess you really don't like the Beatles.

Christopher franchi is on art.

Pretty sure it was posted a while back Lonnie is on code.

Really? Back to back titles with Munsters and Beatles? Has this been confirmed?
Quoted from J85M:Really? Back to back titles with Munsters and Beatles? Has this been confirmed?
Yes.
Quoted from pinballaddicted:Any speculation on designer, coder or artist?
Designer: Gomez (mostly), Kaminkow (next to nothing)
Artist: Franchi
Coder: ???
And yes that's all more or less confirmed.
Edit: 666 Forum posts!!! - MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Hasn’t it been confirmed Lonnie is on code? It’s been posted a few times by the usual reliable sources here on pinside.

I dunno who's credible or not or what really counts as 'confirmed', but the info on Gomez & Franchi is from Gomez & Franchi themselfes. (so it's credible. )
Didn't hear any interview with Lonnie, that is all. May be. May be not. I don't know.
Quoted from J85M:It’s been posted a few times by the usual reliable sources here on pinside.
Also posted by many reliable sources Lonnie was shitcanned long ago so whom knows.
Quoted from TheLaw:Also posted by many reliable sources Lonnie was shitcanned long ago so whom knows.
Gomez seemed to credit/praise Lonnie for the huge Aerosmith update that recently dropped. As well as on Mike (I think) crediting Lonnie for Guardians on one of the most recent GOTG deadflip streams, so indeed who knows?
Quoted from luvthatapex2:You're kidding right? How about every song! One of the best albums of all time. Guess you really don't like the Beatles.
That Lennon wrote? Sorry, but I think Abbey Road is his weakest contribution, but he had basically quit the band by that time. Harrison and McCartney had to step up again.
Quoted from J85M:Pretty sure it was posted a while back Lonnie is on code.

Lyman has not done a game since BM66 late 2016, surely he will have a game coming out soon? It makes sense to have Lyman on a Kapow title. I think making a Beatles Pin would be extremely difficult and would need his magic to help make it special. I think Dwight is on The Munsters, I was hoping for Lyman on The Munsters.
If it really is a rehashed classic layout I’m thinking the PBR machine may fit the bill with a added lcd display. 4 pops/4 band members ala kiss?
Just a thought
It would seem crazy to me to spend that much money on the license and not do something speacil with the layout.
Quoted from ASOA:It would seem crazy to me to spend that much money on the license and not do something speacil with the layout.
I agree however maybe they are trying to tie the theme and era of band to that era of pinball with some modernization of sound and video.
What do you think would be a reasonable price point for this style of machine?
