We played Beatles among other current Sterns and JJP for the first time last weekend.
Beautiful pin. A lot more to accomplish than expected, very approachable and plain fun.
A hit with us!

I’m curious if the diamond had the full tracks or does it have the snippets like the other versions.
I couldn’t ever find a definitive answer.
Enjoy this game - thanks!
I like the idea of an code update but would pass if I had to let go of the additional music tracks. Really enjoying mixing it up.
Stern will send FOUR protector acrylic but the FAB air balls happen, not a huge issue with the game level and metal protector. It’s pinball.
1.15 is likely the setup for Insider Connected.
Will be staying at 1.10 to keep the album mix mod.
Quoted from VALIS666:Hm. I've had the three alt sound mods downloaded and sitting on my hard drive forever, but never went through with it. The whole pin from the art to the callouts to the videos is all about pre-'67 Beatles, so it just seems like psychedelic Beatles music would seem so out of place. Anyone have a video of this with one of the alt sound mods? I'd love to see it.
You can always swap cards back to original if you don't like it. Adds variety and we enjoy it.
Quoted from etr104:I'm looking for a game to compliment my JJP GNR machine. My wife is a big Beatles fan.
Beatles compliments it with a different style of game play. Addictive.
Both equally enjoyable and present well.
Quoted from stevevt:Has anyone added a headphone jack to their Beatles?
According to Terry at Pinball Life, their Spike 2 kit won't work because the Beatles has a unique coin door.
Odd. Looks like a standard Stern door to me.
Quoted from stevevt:https://www.pinballlife.com/stern-spike-2-headphone-jack-assembly.html
"Compatible with all USA SPIKE 2 system machines (excluding The Beatles)."
Terry confirmed via email. But maybe some have standard coin doors?
Use the Stern version instead. See above ^
Quoted from stevevt:Wouldn't they both fit in the same space?
The Pinball Life one has two main advantages:
1) It's half the price.
2) You can actually buy it because it's not sold out everywhere.
Pinball Life says their version isn’t compatible. Maybe someone can chime in and debunk that too. Otherwise Stern version should be back in stock soon. Good luck
Quoted from Psw757:Coin door or anywhere on front of cab would be better. Really ruins the look.
Agree. Never a fan of removing artwork.
Quoted from John-Floyd:Appreciate the comments. I owned Halloween for a few weeks and sold it to put towards Rush. Gameplay just wasn’t for me. I’m struggling with the 9k price of a NIB Beatles but it’s the final run but it does have its unique charm.
Put it this way, other newer Sterns left before Beatles.
A nice change up pin and you may be able to find one HUO a bit cheaper.
Quoted from Psw757:Would be nice if we can get the DJ Mixer feature in future update with full length tracks.
It would be nice but not happening with this particular license.
Quoted from Capn12:Beatles is on my list, but now I just can't bring myself to pay the current prices, after seeing so many try to get sold off for 7k.
Are Beatles appreciating that much?
Thought they still could be found HUO 7-8.
Quoted from ryanparr:Anyone having issues with the FOUR drop targets causing airballs from the right flipper mostly? I'm getting about 4-5 per play. Talked to stern IT and they mentioned turning down flipper strength but I really don't want to mess with the defaults. Thoughts? Do you have this issue?
I have a unlisted video of the issue here
Yes. Stern should have offered a kit, but since they did not, you can purchase one here:
Quoted from ryanparr:Stern IT told me that he has never heard of this issue. I found that suspect as a ton of places offer kits. With the kit you mentioned where does that metal piece install? That's the first I've seen this for the FOUR drop targets.
Over fab drops as you get air balls there too.
Good luck trying Stern again- hope that helps.
A skill shot fix and Seawitch code is a nice touch but no thx Stern - not losing the album tracks mod for it.
Quoted from Meegis:I may be incorrect, but I remember reading in another thread about the node boards not being backwards compatible.
I forget where, but another spike 2 game with custom code (I'm gonna guess gotg) I read that once the node boards are updated if you revert to an older downgrade you could potentially brick them.
Can someone else with more knowledge chime in, as I would hate to see someone brick a game by accident.
Yes, read the same thing in reference to reverting back to older code and node boards on guardians in owner thread..

Quoted from Medic:Any distros still selling Beatles gold? If not im looking for low plays and driving distance from Chicago. Thanks
Its possible some distributors may still have them if you call around. A few on Pinside are selling for decent prices as well.
I’d like to see someone come up with a complete plastic protector set for Beatles. Have a feeling getting partial replacements will be a pain in future.
